These picks are way too predictable and make the most sense which is why I am expecting something completely different since this is the World Cup of upsets after all.

Am expecting Netherlands and England to somehow defeat the other teams and play in the final against each other where Netherlands will win and claim the cup for themselves. Let's see what happens!

I think the only problem of Quarterfinals now is that it's impossible to do 5-game multi unless you pick some weird game from other leagues now. I've been trying without winning, but last game almost hit, just needed Spain to win, but we all know what happened. And it was the lowest odds too, all other hits like France 1x2 at halftime and Portugal 1x2 all hit so easily.

Don't be so harsh on Spain, Morocco is world class team and I have been saying that from the first game against Croatia. They have only conceded 1 goal in this entire tournament and that one was an own goal. It is no small feet to keep your net intact against Croatia, Belgium and Spain. I am only blaming Spain for not going for it in extra time. I was watching Marocco making the subs and getting in the players that really aren't up to the top team standards while Spain had great bench to chose from. This was the moment they had to use. Teams like Morocco simply don't have extra quality on the bench while teams like Spain, Brazil and France can field their 3rd squad and still be competitive on highest level. That is where the difference shows and you must have the guts to use it to your advantage.

Spain should be able to win but he imposes an unnecessary playing style, and the selection of players in the starting line-up I also don't like what coach Luis Enrique thinks. In fact, throughout the match, Marocco gave a better performance, from attack to defense, they were very even. Spain must start to improve after this, otherwise they will fall behind Brazil, France and England for the upcoming competition.

I have not made up my mind yet about this matches, and I am still clearing my head from world cup in this small break period.
My early gut felling is telling me we are going to see one big upset but I won't say what that is yet.

Hard not to see Brazil go through to the final, Argentina should be their sternest test and if they take that scalp, the final is theirs. Mbappe should also power France through England unless Kane, Saka, Bellingham bring their best, but up next is Portugal have finally wisened up and are warming up to the idea of not starting Ronaldo. It allows for a very different, very dangerous Portuguese side -- I see them as French equals on the field in that case, but only if they find a way to take Morocco out first. Croatia doesn't seem as strong as they were four years ago, but they could be the dark horse in this one. I would normally have no trouble taking Brazil, but if there's an upset to be had in the Quarterfinals, Croatia would make the best story to tell your grandkids about.

I haven't had a lot of time to discuss the WC (or much of anything else) the last few weeks, and unfortunately I haven't had any time to gamble on the games. But yesterday I had to take time away from my busy schedule because... Portugal. I found I had a few sats lingering in my SB wallet, so I went all in! Tongue

Tiki-taka of Spain is outdated and they need an upgrade version of it like what Manchester City and Pep Guardiola are using in their club. Unfortunately, Manchester City have better players than Spain have. City have better midfielders, better tactic and a top-notch striker Erling Haaland. It's important for Spain to have a top-notch striker who can create pressure on opponent's defenders like Haaland. Many years since retirement of David Villa and Fernando Torres, Spain have yet found a good striker to replace them.

Manchester City versions with and without Haaland are very different and a version with Haaland brings lot of fear to their opponents.

Spain lost against Italy in Euro 2020 and Morocco in World Cup 2022 in a same way. They dominated these matches but failed to win within 120 minutes. At penalty spots, they failed to both opponents. Spain is like England with very bad records on penalty spots.

ronaldo missed playing against Switzerland due to an injury he had, and he looked sad about it,, ronaldo helped Portugal win several titles before Portugal has the great young players it is now and the teammates who fought alongside him must be aware of that. ronaldo's service to Portugal was enormous and we all know that every great player has a time limit.

I cant believe how bad the penalties were shoot.

What the freaking heck. Spain actually lost against Morocco despite possessing the ball majority of the time and hitting way more shots though only one shot was on target. Morocco decimated them in the penalties.

What a thrilling upset. Lost my bet though thanks to a goalless draw in 90 minutes plus stoppage time. Crazy stuff!
