Not sure what the guy was expecting, but it was the most likely choice based on the team ratings. But still, in my opinion the victory will not be easy because basically matches between national teams like this are very unpredictable.

That would be easy to guess if you are watching the football world, but most people won't wager on all games and they won't wager the same amount on all games, that’s the difference.

The idea to wager 10 bucks (or anything else) on all games equally would mean a loss, because there are games which are a bit more obvious, like England vs Iran game for example, we all know England would beat that, it’s very very very unlikely that Iran would win and I rather take that risk, whereas Senegal vs Netherlands is not that certain, sure Netherlands looks like favourites, but not as clear as England vs Iran. So, playing same amount on both of them doesn't make sense to most people.

I have big doubts that Wales can win against USA. USA at this point , they are having a great squad with important players spread all over Europe clubs so I wouldn't be so sure of Wales victory.

And Ghana is worst rated African side in this competition while Sengal is highest rated. Not that it means much when the show starts. That being said I don't feel like Senegal can recover from loosing Mane. Especially now when he is going on surgery and won't even be with the team. Sarr is good player but nowhere near good enough to step into Mane boots.

I would consider 2002 as their best world cup which was held in their own country. This time the world cup is again in Asia and i hope they show some good performances but winning a world cup is asking a little too much more from them.

Lol, Average of people would say the same thing. Not for Japan, it's a bit impossible in my opinion even if you have 2% faith in yourself to see Japan qualify for round of 16 for the 2022 World Cup. Spain and Germany are likely to be in 1st and 2nd place as the teams that qualify for the next round.
