Really tough game yesterday, it was harder work than I thought it would be but Liverpool showed their class in two moments of high quality to win the game and go 5 points clear of Man City at the top of the PL. It’s a long season with plenty of twists and turns to come but I couldn’t have asked for any better for Slot’s start at the club.
Aston Villa are one of rising clubs in Premier League but meeting with Liverpool now is nightmare for them. Liverpool played better, created more opportunities and their counter attacks are very energetic and fast. Two goals come from such counter attacks by Nunez and Salah but Liverpool had more opportunities to find more goals too.
Aston Villa shown their quality a little bit and actually had some opportunities for equalizing the match as 1 - 1, but they could not score a goal and at the end, their defender made a personal mistake from which Salah punished them with a second goal to nail a win for Liverpool.
Chelsea vs Arsenal kicks off in just under 30 minutes. Arsenal really can’t afford to drop points again, it’s only November but they are already 10 points behind Klopp’s Red Machine.
Arsenal are in a very bad situation and Premier League this season is weird too with Nottingham Forest and Brighton are in top four. Chelsea and Arsenal will face with other for a win to improve their rank.
