I decided to use this free bet in the Big Bash League even though most of the players are placing their bets on Soccer and tennis. These are usually quite big so I play them a bit more safe. For instance when I get those 0.5 mBTC free bet I always throw them on 20+ odds. When I get 20mBTC free bet from insurance I play it on odds @3 and take home 40 if successful.
You already played a risky bet with that same amount to be able to get the free-bets, you must get tempted to go a bit risky again on the free-bet some of the time.Worst feeling, you have 25mBTC bet and you missed one game, then your guy is leading 2:0 in sets in AO and his opponent forfeits. You end up loosing the ticket and not even getting stake back as free bet. Happened to me at least 10 times. But I use it every day for years now.

By the way 25mBTC is maximum for insurance.
Now one advice for you, skip the sports that have a lot of forfeits when using it. If you get a forfeit on a ticket it is like you didn't use it since you are left with just 4 games. Thing is you can use it only once per 24h and tennis robbed me of free bets a lot of time.
