For me it’s a clear offside, there needs to be clarity on these stupid rules. When the ball is played through he’s offside, simple. Everything else should be irrelevant.

Kane got a penalty awarded for something similar at Anfield a few seasons ago, it’s dumb.
Absolutely, that goal should have never stood. I know that rule that says it is not offside if opponents plays with the ball but this situation does not fall into that category for me. That rule should say something like "if opponent has complete control of the ball" and we would avoid situations like this..

Garcia said good thing in his interview. What was he supposed to do let the ball pass and hope Mbappe is in offside? Stupid situation and I am very said stuff like this can happen in the final of big competition with VAR present.
There is a difference between "that goal should have counted" versus "this rule needs to change". If you believe that the rule should change (and I do believe that too) then you should focus on that part, but if there is a rule saying that opposition touches the ball so it makes it a new play and not offside, then we can't say that the goal should not be counted. The rule says it should be counted and that's what the ref gave as the rule as well. What should the ref do? Cancel the goal because fans do not like this rule? That will not be possible, if it is in the rule book then ref will follow the rule book and nothing more, that's how it is.

^ Welcome back, Steve! We played nice with Martin I think. 0-0. Now there's a line I've never placed a single cent on... brain just isn't capable of hoping neither teams score.

Nations League was surprisingly not docile. World Cup's been so-so. Personally, club football can't return sooner.

Don't keep us all in suspense too long @_@

Premier League is finally coming back this weekend after international matches and it's time to make some predictions for 4-3 and 6-6 free bet competitions and get a chance to win $100,000 in Bitcoin!
https://sportsbet.io/sports/bet-free-6-6

Thanks for the reminder!

New 43free is featuring my own Spurs vs a new rich club!

I believe nobody has won this yet but if I can recall correctly, There was once someone who hit 13 out of 15 on Multimaster, so to hit 6 exact scores I know is next to impossible but the luck of the football is round for everybody.

And in case luck has an ear, I promise to host a nice event here to share 10% of the prize if I win Wink

Modding Service - DM me!
I'm looking forward to the later TI match after daybreak!

The first match is IG vs Team Spirit while the second match in the upper bracket, OG versus Team Secret, we know what's going to happen and who's going to win, but Team Secret is also making plays right now and has an amazing team synergy, so it's still a 50-50 for me.
The rest of the fights tomorrow are lower bracket matches, but I'm cheering for FNATIC because two of their players are from my country.

@LFC_Bitcoin I have observed that Spain has a habit of winning in late stages of the game, but I wasn’t expecting France to win it until Mbappe score the winner. Also this is a difficult question to ask, but should Mbappe Goal have been allowed to stand?, because in my personal opinion it was a clear offside but what do you think about it?.

Spain played too much passing, even when they looked for the equalizer they kept passing and crossing knowing their height was not an advantage. France tried both, to dribble and score with Mbappe and to try from far like with Benzema. It was still France who should have scored, many times Mbappe shot straight to Lloris.

Definitely also clear offside for me but it is over to discuss now Embarrassed

Anybody lumped on tonight?

UEFA Nations League Final currently playing. 55 minutes played, Spain 0-0 France. Could be a long night, penalties not out of the question. Somebody needs to find some inspiration from somewhere.
I was also heading for this long night, but sadly Mbappé vanish this all through a late goal for France, and now they are enjoying this new Crown.

Good and quality game from these both teams for top spot, at the end better team won.

To be honest the only kit man I know is "nate the great" but he became an assistant coach by the end of s1 and became the manager of west ham after rupert took over by the end of s2. Lol, if you do not watch Ted Lasso this joke will definitely be going to waste, it is a character in that TV series (do we still call it "TV" series when it is on digital streaming platforms?). All in all kitman are not "famous" unless they get some celeb status because of something, I have seen many of them in our nation and not UK but that is because kitman becomes like some sort of mascot situation, people like to show love for them specifically no matter who they are in order to show they care about "every" staff and not just players and managers.

Ah okay, well, I definitely have made this joke go to waste on me then and yeah, I don't really call it TV anymore, but it's weird to call it streaming for me since I uh, don't stream them Wink

I think kit men or kit boys in UK clubs do have a lot of love from the supporters and players, but the mascot thing feels very North American to me at least, and even in EPL buildups you don't always see them outside the "big" clubs (not where I'm viewing anyway).

So how did the Saturday Behind the Bet go? I arrived an hour too late it appears.

Hands up here, don't know our own kitman either (I do now haha).

I used to watch Liverpool training videos (during lockdown) and would look up all the names that appeared on the cams but not all of them would return results. I've never really been one to know much about the teams and individuals behind them, honestly. My kid knows his players' wives, families, stuff. I don't really get interested in those things.

But you're right. A team's not a team without all its parts!

Damn the hour differences! I will be sleeping around that time but I will definitely be checking it back on youtube. Premier league is probably either the biggest league in the entire world or at least it has kept to be top three for maybe 20-30 years so far, probably even further than that to be honest.

I do not care about coefficent rating or whatever, it has been top 3 popularity and watched. This dude seems like he knows what he is doing and has been doing it for many years, southampton wasn't always in premier league of course but it is certainly a place where I would be quite glad to be even vanaroma south/north just to see what's going on in the biggest football nation in the world.

Think I missed out the last couple of Behind the Bets -- weekends always going to be a bit tough for me to tune in to radio, but I'll try make an effort with Mark just out of pure curiosity. Put my question in Clubtalk already Wink

This is going to be so cool! I never knew anything much about any club's kitman not even my own. Remember last year or the year before Arsenal had to let go of their mascot and someone of the players stepped in to pay for his salary? These guys are big parts of club history especially some like Mark Forbes who I found out now worked for Southampton like for 12 years!

Cool, I reckon a kit man definitely has some juicy stories to tell Cheesy
I’ll definitely be tuning in to listen, he probably has some NSFW tales to tell from his years in the industry.

Belgium vs France tomorrow in the UEFA Nations League semi final. That’s a proper match that is, true high quality players on show. I missed the Italy vs Spain semi final today but I’m definitely going to tune in to Belgium vs France tomorrow.

Just thinking what might be a likely outcome tomorrow to have a bet on.
As can be seen from the other nights games, it is never really clear to me who will win in the midseason national games. I hate to wager on qualifiers because they never make any sense at all. I would understand if they were in the summer, because teams get together and have training together and some friendlies and camps and so forth which makes the team better.

However calling the players up during the season, just when they were getting the hang of their teams, then end up playing them with bunch of other people and then sending them back to their teams never really made any sense to me. Hopefully I will be wrong and win this bet, but I am pretty sure I will be wrong once again.
