Sorry you lost money on a bet for Bayer. Atalanta interrupted the magnificent winless series of the German club. Few expected Gasperini's team to be able to stop Bayer. And as I said in European cup finals there are surprises, that's why we like football. I quite admit that there could be a surprise in the Champions League final as well.

It's just luck, and before anyone says I am a sour grape, I'm not. Leverkusen also had a huge amount of luck. Them getting 50 games unbeaten is like winning 10000x on dice, which is not impossible but you need a lot of luck.

Now the luck went to Atalanta, fair play. I think they know how to nullify all attacking teams like Liverpool and Leverkusen. And then suck at home losing to Bologna and relegation candidate Cagliari lol

You're not alone. I did the same thing betting Leverkusen as the favorite but it didn't work out. Sometimes we have to go against the favorites to bet on them.

In my opinion, betting on the favourites is quite justified, especially in European cup finals. Bayer Leverkusen and Real Madrid are the best clubs in Europe, who have won the championship in their countries ahead of schedule. So I wish you good luck with these bets, but I still advise you to be more reasonable, because in any European cup final there is always a chance that we might see a surprise.
