I was so close to get a big win again but Suns from NBA decided to win the game with less than 6 points after they had double digits in front...so unlucky. I was able to catch Lakers 6+ with 3.75 and I catched Utah 6+ at minimum as this was the final result.

Here it is :

Booked myself a nice 18/1 win on the last Championship special, it took til 86th minute of a crazy Huddersfield/Rovers game to win, but I'm 100% tempted with going for it again, this time 30/1 on over 1.5 goals in all of today's Championship game. Hope the goal mini drought in Prem means we get more goals in the division below;) So far so good with a goal in 3 games in 10 minutes =D

P.S. Rangers won the Old Firm derby with an own goal. 19 points ahead of Celtic, will be 10 if Celtic win all games in hand, but I'm sensing with 11 games to go, Rangers could really go on to win this season without losing! Gerrard must be super chuffed.

Unlucky dude, you’ll win it next time, keep trying. I was reading Man Utd have had 33 penalties in their last 59 PL games, ridiculous. Penandes (I mean Fernandes) scores most of his goals from penalties, damn stat padder Wink
He plays beautifully aside scoring penalties, I believe anyone else would gladly take the spot if he willingly offers it out, a lot of critiques have nicknamed him Penands which still hasn't stopped his crucial displays in matches united need his services the most.

A very important fierce rivalry match to watch not judging by the recent form united has but that would be one of the best Red Derbies in recent years.

I was so close to win big on this week free bet but it wasn't meant to be. I just needed one yellow card from Villa. Doesn't sound like much especially with Mings in the first 11, does it? Already don't like the new year and it just started Smiley

^Corners are really unpredictable now I think. I actually believe Liverpool usually are a good team for Overs, as are any team that has a lot of possession and creates a lot of chances, same as City. You know they will try, and try a lot, so defenders and keepers push it out for play. But it's been a low count lately because shots on targets are getting soft, or attempts aren't even on target.

Edit: @DireWolfM14 as I was writing this post Manchester United have 2 quick corners look like its going to be bad for you.

Lol, yeah no sooner than you posted.

ETA: Now Villa just got to quick corners in stopage time, that did it in.  I considered going for the over, but hindsight is always 20/20.

I used to bet on corners for Man United games. After getting burned like you I stopped taking the Under corners market on games with ManU playing because too many times at the opening minutes of the match, their attack flies out deep inside the opponent's field without actually scoring any goals, so they're locked into doing corners for the next few minutes. If a goalkeeper saves the ball around this time it usually gets worse because it just rebounds back in play and possibly gets them another corner.

Over corners is also risky because I noticed in some games Man United players have trouble controlling the ball enough to deflect it off someone in the opponent team off the end of the field and so the other team gets free goal kicks instead.

TL;DR Man United's not consistent enough with their corners to be safe at betting on them, it's almost as risky as betting odd/even goals. I'd feel more comfortable betting on Under corners for Liverpool or relegation zone teams (ans possibly even Chelsea these days) than clubs like ManU or Arsenal.

Injury time very quick 3 corners break your heart and @BitcoinGirl.Club going with great win congrats winner and sorry for loser.
When they had their first corner in the injury time I was like, meh! It's just a corner. Then the 2nd one! My heartbeats were going high, another one seems very unrealistic considering the rate they were managing corners. But then another one! I can not believe my eyes LOL

I felt extremely lucky and felt so good for Villa although I did not want to them score. It was a great relief for me after that last corner. Interestingly nothing more happened. Trust me, I did not expect this bet to win when the run was stuck on 12 corners and there were not much time left in the match.

Sorry DireWolfM14, you lost this betbuilder. I wish you would not select the corner market. It was a good odd to win.

Happy new year all!

Oooo I JUST saw that Steve's Multi Magic is back! Is it bad that I'm just following it for fun, not even knowing a single team mentioned in the game and not knowing if they're actually good picks?

Was that the one for Everton - West Ham, ManU - AV all teams score?  I participate, only Everton disappointed us.

I have the following in play for the ManU - Aston Villa match.  As it stands I'll win it, but the corners could do me in.

Look like you are going to win this bet as corners stopped for some time most of play is happening in middle of ground.
@BitcoinGirl.Club lost his passion and going to lost his bet because over14.5 is really number to achieve right now.

I too had mine and still awaiting for my feeling of luck. I may use it later today or tomorrow. Don't want to ruin it like I did last one and the first one.

Of course thanks to Sportsbet and Steve.

Congrats guys. That's what happens when you're on the winning. Apart from stake, SB remains one of my favorite spot for gambling and placing bets. 2020 was an eventful one. I know 2021 has more in store. @BitcoinGirl.Club no rush. Just relax, you have 3 more days to figure out which games are best to play. Most leagues will be resuming soon so you will have a lot of options.

I got caught up with family time this week and missed out on a few games and the MM for this round. Goodluck to everyone this new year 🙏

Anyway, there's some NBA midnight action today. Looking forward to pre-game and live betting.  Who are you guys backing tonight... Where's your money at?

Thanks for an amazing 2020, without you guys it could have been a lot worse and I remember way before all these leagues were back, way before all these matches were available, during the worst part of the pandemic when nothing was going on, you guys managed to actually get fifa games between people and 2k games, and god knows what other games to be wagered, there were more options here than any other place and it was looking really bad at one point, for 71 days I didn't stepped outside at all, and that was a period where I felt like I could have lost my mind honestly, but whenever I felt like things were not looking so bright (now we talk about vaccine and so forth, back in April I wasn't sure if humanity would survive this) sporsbet helped me get over that by focusing on other things, watched the games and wagered on them to pass some time and feel better. Thanks to Steve at most, and all other sportsbet staff.

If I know sportsbetting, there will be even "how many players will be injured by the season end" type of bets as well. Hell one day we could even have "how many times player breathed in and out" as well. Gambling is getting to a level where each sportsbook that offers more gets more users while the ones that got stuck with money line or maybe few more are getting less and less.

Sportsbet and the other sportsbooks get their odds data and markets from Sportsradar so they are limited with whatever Sportsradar is able to provide. This is the reason why some lower tier leagues don't have live odds and can't even track the score in real-time until the end of the match.

Now Sportsradar also gives sports data to media agencies so they should already be collecting VAR events too. So it's not like this is an impossible task to do. But I agree with Trofo that VAR markets should be bet on in multiples like VAR used 3+ or 4+ times just like how corners and player shots are counted.

In fact we could even split the VAR market into penalty review and offside markets too. It would be exciting to bet on something like Offsides 2+, especially in Liverpool games.

@Steve

I'm not sure if this was suggested or asked for but can we get a market for VAR, let's say for Premier League matches?
I have honestly never seen that anywhere, but it would be interesting to try. The odds in favor of VAR reviews wouldn't be that high I think.
Another thing is what would be considered a VAR review. A review can take place in the background without the referee actually going to the monitors to check himself. Would that also be considered for the bet or only when the referee checks the footage himself? What if the VAR referee makes the decision, cancels, or awards a penalty/goal/red card without the intervention of the main ref?
You can regulate it. Let's call all those cases when VAR activates in background "silent VAR" and those when main referee is called to judge the situation "ref VAR". There is much more silent VAR cases and every ref VAR case is immediately a silent VAR case as well.

There is an official record of VAR usage for every game and let's say it is usually around 2-5 times per game. You can then offer standard handicap spreads for silent VAR usage.
over 3.5 @1.9    under 3.5 @1.9  basic handi
over 2.5 @1.55  under 2.5 @2.4
over 4.5 @2.4    under 4.5 @1.55

In addition to that you can offer another market called ref VAR, and let's say that it is happening every second game per stats.
Then you offer market will there be ref VAR in the game, and change the odds a bit depending on the clubs:
yes @1.9
no @1.9

I would probably try my luck on such markets.

This is why I think it is quite important to suggest these type of things but we will not have them today, there are things that will take some time VAR is actually quite new compared to all others, hell even corner numbers are considered new in betting, so VAR should take some time, but eventually we are going to have all kinds of VAR related bets for sure. So far it is usually about VAR changing the result when live betting, so it could be a lot more in the future but we gotta wait.
