Perhaps, Sportsbet does not have a special Italian license that allows offering services to Italian players. So that's why Italian authorities might have restricted access to people residing in Italy.
This seems a very reasonable cause. I was wondering why is that. So technically Italians are not sportsbet.io clients. Feel bad for them 😉

By the way, Arsenal now again behind and unlucky me that I could not use this chance. I do not think Arsenal will win today. They will most probably will settle for a draw. I hope they don't though. A win will be nice 🙂
Seems like both matches going to end in Draw as 88 minutes gone and Norwich vs Arsenal 2 - 2 and Wolves vs Shef 1 -1 mean some good going to lost with these two results.

sportsbet.io has restrictions in Italy? I wanted to login and then found this instead of the page.

I use tor by the way.

I was not even close!
City drew which lost my bet of course but then Chelsea lost, Bayern Munich lost. These favorite teams suck LOL

I think I might have found an answer. As a rule (correct me if I am wrong), sports betting websites and casinos make a list of restricted countries, but if a country is not on the list, it does not mean right away that gambling from there is not restricted. It is the gambler's (bettor's) responsibility to make sure that national legislation allows using these services. Now, looking through Wikipedia (I know, not the most reliable source, so I might be wrong), I found out the following info about the gambling law: gambling is forbidden, sports betting is allowed. Online sports betting is allowed, but there's this one condition, and I quote:
Quote
Since March 2010 when the new law came into power, foreign gambling operators have been able to launch online real money games. Before offering their services to Italian citizens, they should get an Italian license.
Perhaps, Sportsbet does not have a special Italian license that allows offering services to Italian players. So that's why Italian authorities might have restricted access to people residing in Italy.

Again, it's just an educated guess, I might have got the situation wrong, and I'm sorry if that's the case.

[ENG] - Man. Utd. - A. Villa  1 = 1,47
Don't get too confident with Utd. They suck in this season.
By the way, I just had a three fold with Arsenal, Wolves and another random match which I think should be winning. Parleys are always close for me to win but ultimately I lose. Let's see what I have today.

Arsenal draw or win
Wolves draw or win
The other team draw no bet.

With this Arsenal pick, I was just few seconds late before they equalized. I was about to place the bet and the market was suspended or the odd could be better for me LOL

~snip~
I was not able to see the list of restricted countries in their terms and conditions but in the FAQS - https://sportsbet.io/support/faq
Italy is one of the countries listed where withdrawal by Mastercard is supported. So it wouldn't make sense to restrict country yet the withdrawal in that very country are supported.
What I understood after using the translator is that the Italian authority seized the DNS I guess.

In other news, the Hornets will no longer be having the services of Flores. He had a pretty tough time in the end. Last night losing was the last straw... Let us hope we get new manager luck for December!

Pretty rocky last two weeks for Premier League coaches, first Pochettino and Unai Emery, now Flores. I honestly thought they should sack him after that embarrassing loss to Man City.

Any news who might be the new coach? I see Chris Hughton's name being mentioned as a potential candidate.

Hei Steve , last race of the year for F1 today Sad we gonna miss it for the next months but I'm looking forward for the next season as I think ferrari really stands a chance for the next year. I feel bad for Hulkenberg tho as he participated in so many races and yet he couldn't find a podium ...also Kubica is gone after this year , what a great driver he was back in 2009. Ops seems that Juventus made a draw with Sasuolo Smiley) who would anticipate something like this ??

In response to JeromeTash and leea's responses on prohibited countries, I can confirm. At least one of those said countries was previously allowed to open accounts but national policy sought reregulations of online gambling a couple of months ago. Sportsbet of course allowed accounts from that country to withdraw their balances.

Today´s Sportsbet special is about the English Premier League matches and the total goals combined of all home teams. Over/Under 6.5 @ 1.9 for over and 2.00 for under. Thoughs?
Manchester united, Leicester city, wolves could easily score 2 goals each .
Leicester and Manchester united are so offensive when they play at home while Norwich struggling to score these days after pukki hype at the early season. Tough choice.
This special bet is always tricky 4 games , 2 offensive and the other a bit struggle.

If I have to choose I'll go for under. I don't bet on this .

Temporary forum vacation
According to what is said in Sportsbet.io terms and condition, residents of United States of America, Australia, United Kingdom, Estonia and Netherlands are not allowed to open an account on sportsbet.io
Now that's awkward because Netherlands and Estonia appear on the list of countries that support MasterCard Withdrawals from the very website that purportedly restricts the said countries.

Is it just a mistake or am I missing something?

PRevious to the new rule, you could open an account on all those countries, as I believe. Meaning sportsbet at first when opened you could play and deposit from UK, Estonia etc.

But after new rules they did not allow more new players from there.

BUT you could still request withdrawal of course for your funds! Hence,,, they can still support withdrawals. No awkwardness there.

I think they are two are separate points of discussion.  The jurisdictional restrictions for the service may or may not overlap with the restrictions of credit card policies.

There's also this in the FAQ:

Quote
Withdrawal with Visa IS NOT SUPPORTED for the following countries:
USA
South Korea
Singapour
Bangladesh
British Indian Ocean Territory
Cambodia
Macau, China
Nepal
New Zealand
Pakistan
Philippines
Shri Lanka
Thailand
Vietnam
For all other countries withdrawal with Visa IS SUPPORTED.

Note that it says Visa withdraws are supported for countries not on the list, even though many are restricted from using the service.  And, they even bothered to include restricted countries onto the list.

Does sportsbet.io require KYC to withdraw crypto?

Short answer: It depends.

Long answer: They reserve the right to KYC if necessary (for example if they suspect abuse or multiaccounting), and also might KYC if you withdraw a large amount in one go:
Quote
9.2. Sportsbet.io reserve the right to carry out additional KYC verification procedures for any withdrawals exceeding the equivalent of 1 Bitcoin or €2000 as regulated by our gaming license. Account Holders who wish to recover funds held in a closed, locked or excluded account are advised to contact our Customer Support.

It isn't required, but they might ask for it. I've personally played semi-large bets on Sportsbet (in the 100 to 150 mBTC range, though this was when BTC was at a lower price) without ever needing KYC.
