Farewell LEO: o_e_l_e_o
there, i fixed it for ya 😂🤣
What! I saw it was 21st but wrote 18th. I am getting old. 🤣
Well a correct score yesterday put me in 19th now. I am sure today I will get kicked out from top 20 LOL

I am still looking for tips to have a winning round. Come on guys, be generous 😉
A good round will bring me in top 10 and then another good round for top 5. I am happy.

Man Utd are an actual meme atm & long may it continue.
I gave up trusting utd two years ago.

This is hilarious how all of us were wrong on this one

Only one guy, Ibuprofen, was close with his 1:1 prediction, and absolutely everyone else in the pool was wrong! There were predictions like 6:0, 5:0, I myself with several others predicted 4:0. Who would've guessed that after beating Man. United 5:0 on a visit, Liverpool would not win on Anfield? On one site I was offered to cash out almost 90% of my bet when the score was 2:1 in favor of Liverpool, but no, I waited until I lost it all.

But it appeared that Man. City vs Crystal Palace was even more unpredictable. 48 wrong predictions!

I think there have been many games in this season, even though it is still quite young, where all of us picked the wrong outcome. My heart feels sorry for anyone who predicted right in some games and yet only got 1 point. But it adds up to slam so I guess nobody complains.

Apparently Klopp himself is mad with VVD even for being too relaxed. But we can also credit Brighton and their ex player Adam Lallana for coming to Anfield to win even 2 goals down. Everyone including Klopp gave him a standing ovation when he left the field.

Can't believe Spurs got rid of Nuno already. Yeah, results are not great but his team is also not of the highest quality needed to challenge for the top positions in the league. Their biggest mistake was sacking Poch, he was outperforming almost all the time, at least that was my take on Spurs throughout last couple of seasons.

Ole staying in United is a good news for all United haters. One good result does not mean they are out of the crises or that United found their game. They just played against even worse team and I think it will show in CL and against City.

Ole winning means he keeps his job & that’s fine by me Cheesy
Man Utd were lining up Conte themselves & now Spurs will probably get him. You couldn’t make it up could you?

Was it Man Utd that was just so good today, or it was just Tottenham being themselves again as we've seen repeatedly this season, I didn't watch yhe game live but I'm surprised by the scoreline, I would have expected a draw or marginal win from Man Utd.

The Spurs really sucked today, they've been hot and cold so far this season.  I built a prop bet with UTD to win, but the the Spurs screwed it by not scoring.  What a bunch of cocks!  Wink

Arsenal just had a really rough start, they've been able to get themselves together to show that they could still strive for a top spot.

Arsenal jumped 4 spots today from 10th to 6th.  That sure does warm the cockles of my heart.  The season is young yet, and they had a pretty impressive hot streak last season, so I'm trying to contain my enthusiasm.  It sure would be cool if they finish in the top 5.
They sucked against Manchester United so bad that they got rid of Nuno because of it.
https://www.espn.com/soccer/tottenham-hotspur-engtottenham/story/4510468/tottenham-sack-manager-nuno-espirito-santo-after-dismal-record
He only managed the Spurs for 17 matches before getting the boot from the club.
Sounds like they are in talks with Conte so to take on the helm for their next match.
https://www.theguardian.com/football/2021/nov/01/nuno-sacked-by-tottenham-after-only-17-matches-as-manager
This is madness and everybody thought it would be the opposite side of the pitch whose manager would get sacked.
No more #OleOut trending after that one match with Tottenham now.

That is a great job to be the top for this round which has seen the biggest surprises of all the Premier League rounds so far.I had West Ham 1-2 to win as I thought they were going to have to fight a lot against an Aston Villa which has played better during these first initial games of the Premier League.

also believed in West Ham, and they won over Aston Villa
it was a harsh round, and exact score on Leeds was good for me, to close the gap to position 10, as I am currently sitting on 12th place

what could be seen in the pool is that this season is much closer than previous one, with 10 points difference between top10 places, so everything is still possible

Wolves are playing my Everton tonight, and I expect from Everton to stay undefeated, but would hedge that with Wolves win in the pool

This is so much better than having few youngster on the field such as Greenwood that wasted alot of opportunity by not passing the ball. Dang I was so close in getting exact points for Manchester United but that 3rd goal really ruined it but only two people hit close points including me so I'll take that.

to predict the exact result is pure luck. how many times have I been close, but some harmless goal has ruined my score.  Huh
For example, in the last game, West ham scored the 4th goal without much effort, just to spoil my celebration. after that they didn't even bother to do anything more. maybe there wasn’t that red card, 1:3 sounds more realistic like I pick.
now I have to be happy with just 11 points and for now on top for this round.  Shocked

For today game I got a Wolves narrow win as lately they are up to speed not in results but in game play so maybe tonight is the time they also start showing results.

I said at the start of the season I would reserve my comment about our new manager but I think I can finally say after the weekend that Nuno is definitely not the man for the job.

I knew he was never going to be Pochettino,,, and I knew he would never be as toxic as Jose,,, however after the session of blaming players, and also talking about Alli I wonder if the ghost of Jose has come back.

Nice job examplens and do not worry guys. I am better in EPL than other leagues in my own opinion but performing worse in EPL pool. Stay chill keep calm and win yellow cap!  Grin

By the way, I am not much hopeful with Utd. They had a good match yesterday but last few weeks they performed real bad.
great performance from Utd, mainly because: 1) Varane is back, 2) new formation to change things up (3 cb at the back, cavani-ronaldo duo, no wingers), and 3) Spurs under Espirito Santo are a steaming pile of 💩

Yeah, baby!  I'll take it.  I have a soft spot for UTD because a friend of mine is a big fan.  I'm more inclined to dish on City.  To me they're like the Dallas Cowboys of the EPL; the team I love to hate.  I don't know why, they're obviously a great club, and have (arguably) the best manager in the game.  It's probably because they've been so dominant lately and I'm petty that way.  Grin

Seriously please can anyone give me some tips to find a winning round. I am not doing anything right at the moment.

No one expected City will lose against Palace. Good for Liverpool and Chelsea. Liverpool could use this chance to make some good distance but boys were not up to the standard. We still need a lot of work to do. I was brave yesterday picked two draws but failed massively. No draw today.

By the way, I am not much hopeful with Utd. They had a good match yesterday but last few weeks they performed real bad.

what happened today?
Chelsea won their match, and that is the only one that is close to reality, all the others are fairly surprises

Crystal Palace is obviously good at surprising favorites, and Newcastle bosses will have to bring back the team for Championship, as a first step Smiley

after lousy start, Arsenal is fifth?

had to put 0:1 on Manchester United, after first results

I think this was the most terrible week since start for me on predicting this results. Everything i predicted was the otherway around. I only won points i think on Chelsea, lost all points on Liverpool , City and so on. Wasnt even expecting Man Utd to destroy Tottenham . Too many surprises today

the real surprise is City lost against Norwich. no one expected that, only Leea-1334 expect drawn from there, and it was the closest in the whole pool.
Manchester United is no big problem to score a goal, they have perhaps the best-attacking potential of all the teams. this is no surprise if we know how bad Tottenham is this season. I made mistake and expect them to score, and they failed to do so even against any of the worst defences Man. United in the league.

Yeah, I bet on Spurs because I'm counting on Kane to rediscover his form as he always does. We always knew United could score, so them hitting 3 goals when Spurs just didn't show up is no surprise. My money's still on Atalanta despite results, because they haven't actually solved their problems yet. Betting against City when they meet though, that's even more fun for me!

Imagine getting the 3 exact points from getting Chelsea - Newcastle score right but then going on to getting every other outcome this week wrong  Undecided

Seriously though, the draws, and the upsets really screwed me this week. Pretty much everything was a major upset except for Spurs vs United. Only reason I bet on spurs was that I thought United would continue to crumble.

Apparently, under the new manager, Spurs are even worse than them.

I don't see it. United is strong in the attack but they are very bad when defending, any team that attacks them with lot of players will destroy them this season. I am expecting them to loose against both City and Atalanta, and concede at least 2 goals and probably more in those games. Would love that they prove me wrong, at least United is always fun to watch Smiley

Today Manchester United were far superior compared to Tottenham. If you see the names who scored like Cristiano and Cavani tells you a lot from what to expect in the upcoming games from Manchester United.Once these big names find harmony together with each other they will show great football and if surprises will continue to happen to the top teams like it happened today,a Manchester United fighting for the title would not surprise me at all.
