there is a chance for CL next season through the CL competition, Liverpool has good result from first match in Budapest, and that is close to go through this phase, although this form would hardly bring it to any title
competition for Europa league and Champions league is harsh this season in Premier league, but I hope that Everton will get there at the end, so that would hardly leave place for Liverpool to do the same

West Ham, Tottenham, Chelsea are also looking on that spot, and Leicester is just above

Nah, I really don't see it. We are currently not a team that can challenge for the CL, I'd tip for us to get knocked out in the next round. I wouldn't be surprised even if Leipzig kicks us out - although we really have a good result from the 1st leg.

We have issues that can't be fixed in a week or so, this season is over. We need to keep fighting, sure, but I want us to start preparing for the situation without CL next year as soon as possible. There will be some tough decisions to be made.

They will not let Klopp go, this is the first problematic period of his Liverpool tenure so far. I'm more afraid he'll go himself if we don't qualify for CL and the owners start talking about rebuilding rather than going for top players.

Klopp said he was always interested in the Germany national team job, but that he would ideally like it a bit later in his career. I hope we don't drive him away with stupid decisions because the national team will be calling him for sure for Euro 2021.

Woop, correct score on the first game. Hoping for another good week. Went for a 0-0 on the Sheffield United/Southampton game that's on now and the Saints are up by one but hoping United can claw one back and make it a draw.

I’m trying to be clever this round by picking Liverpool vs Fullham, 1 - 1.  Lol.  Grin  I have nothing to lose now, with me outside the top 20.  And missing the first match of the weekend didn’t help.  Meh...  I was looking at 0 - 2 for Burnley vs Arsenal.

Just going for free bets now...

I've gone for a Liverpool win but I could totally see a draw here the way they've been playing. If they drop points in that game it's going to be pretty disastrous for them. I wonder how long they can keep it up before Klopp goes. I'm not a fan of clubs sacking mangers after a rut and I don't think they should get rid of him regardless of where they finish in the end but the culture of ditching managers has become pretty toxic. I wonder if there's been any managers other than Ranieri that have won the league then been sacked the season after?

Oh I got them to win but I’m just trying to get lucky to get more points here somehow.  Lol.

And no way Liverpool is getting rid of Klopp...  That’s unless who lost control of the dressing room.  But I don’t think they’re at that point yet.  Has Klopp become more aloof with his players?

I dont think klopp will leave that easily liverpool he got them their first title in 20 + years and a champions league title
One bad season wont get him sacked

As for todays points, got only 1 Sad
I just cant catch a break

I was able to savage 4 points, thanks to the 0-0 draw in the Newcastle vs West Brom match, I honestly didn't know who to go with, that's why I just left it blank.

Liverpool would be very unreasonable to let Klopp go just because of a bad season, who's better out there to go for ?

Being a Liverpool fan is one of the hardest things in life. I swear to god, rollercoaster rides they give you don't exist anywhere else in the world.

We still did not celebrate last year's title, imagine if we celebrate it after finishing 9th this year. Worst thing of all - we finally found some stability and 3 months of consistent fuckups will wipe away 3 years of great systematic work.

Well, back to square one. 17th time in my short period supporting them. My body is ready, lets gooo.

I am very sad for the Liverpool loss yesterday night. It looks like a curse to me that every time I bet on Liverpool they lose that game.I am still happy with this mega round in the pool as I got average results and am already looking forward to tomorrow games.

That's their fifth consecutive loss at Anfield, the fortress is now cursed, huh ??! It's really going to be a new low if they can't see off Fulham in the next fixture.

And for LIverpool, a new and humiliating low it was! How in hell do you lose 6 consecutive homes, even moreso when some of the teams are outside the top 10  Huh

I went for 2-0  win with the hope that things will get better today, but it's same new shit, just different day, they'd better put themselves together ahead of Leipzig's UCL clash on Wednesday as that's what's left of their season.

Nice start on the leaderboard, hilarious! That's two weeks in a row you're right off the bat.

Anyway, I'm on the telly, filled with regret. So with our last two Anfield games, we've just only added to the record of different centreback pairings: now 20 ha ha. What a bundle of nerves at the back we are now, I just can't bear to watch it.

To add to the 18 pairings I listed in this post (because Trofo couldn't believe it haha) we now have Fabinho-Kabak and after today Williams-Phillips after Kabak got injured. We still have Davies getting used to training so we may end the season with 25 who knows haha;)

Oh cryptofrka, oh LFC_Bitcoin, when will we be released from this purgatory?

It was the same for me. I was going with 2 - 1 for Liverpool but that match finished with 1 - 0. Today we have match against Fulham and again it's in Anfield. These days Anfield scares me and I have gone with another Liverpool win by knowing that we have very high probability of losing again.

Liverpool going to win this one for sure. I mean how bad could Liverpool turn into, its only Fulham though. If it was another team, I would probably go for draw but its Fulham and there is no way Liverpool going to pass this good opportunity for 3 points. Im going for 2-0 for Liverpool and I think Jota might score in this match  Tongue

@hilariousandco : What did you drink or eat before you make this score prediction lol ? 3 exact scores and 1 close score out of 5 matches, thats a great way to start this round and at this rate you might make it to top ten soon

I didn't expect Arsenal to not be able to win today especially after they beat Leicester easily.I got 0 points so far from the first two games as I expected a Sheffield United win because their form recently has been more convincing than that of Southampton for me.Another round without the yellow cap for me so let's see what happen next as not that many rounds are available until the end of the season.

@hilariousetc I already said that picking a lot of draws can either bring you up the table considerably or bring you down considerably,so far for you is working well.

Yeah, they're risky but most people seem to like backing a winner rather than a stalemate. It just paid off again for me on the Villa/Wolves game as I was the only person to go with a 0-0 which are always the rarest scores to go for I think. Currently leading this round but will probably get overtaken with the game on now. Gone for a narrow 1-0 away win to Leicester but they're currently 1-0 down to Brighton. Only four people have backed the home win. Manchester derby is the game to watch tomorrow I think. Maybe Liverpool/Fulham as well but just to see how they get on as I think it could be a boring one.

If we (LFC) can’t beat Fulham tomorrow we might as well close the club & cease to exist. I’m kidding but what a crap season by us, well at least Man Utd won’t win the title. Just need Everton to collapse now & then at least our main rivals will have nothing to cheer about too.

I'd gladly accept that we finish 4th and that both of them finish ahead of us and win the cup/EL. I couldn't care less what they do, we're at a turning point in which all good that was created under Klopp can be lost in 1 season without elite football.

We are still not a financial heavyweight like United that can buy players and pay the highest wages for years before getting into CL, we are under a strict budget and I'm really worried that our progress will halt completely if we miss out on the top 4 this season.

Fulham is a must win game, I don't want to think about anything else than 3 points.

Arsenal becoming their own biggest enemy yet again, they started the game pretty well and could have been 2 or more goals up, but they gave up a silly goal just before the break to keep it all square.

Anyone else made a correct result on liverpool?
Yesterday was great in terms of picks for me. I got 'exact' on West Brom vs Everton, and 'close' on Liverpool vs Chelsea as well as Fulham vs Tottenham. And I've just made the picks for the next round. Sheffield United vs Southampton is hard to guess, but I think Southampton might win this one. I'm also predicting that Leicester City wins against Brighton, although it might mean I'm just not learning from my mistakes. But if they lose this one, I'll try to stop relying on them  Smiley
