I am very sad for the Liverpool loss yesterday night. It looks like a curse to me that every time I bet on Liverpool they lose that game.I am still happy with this mega round in the pool as I got average results and am already looking forward to tomorrow games.

This is turning out to be a horrible season. We now have 5 straight losses at home and have collected 1 out of possible 18 points at Anfield in 2021. I really can't understand such a dip in form - I know we have injuries, a lot of them - but these results are for teams that are crap, which we are not even if you take all the injuries into account.

Fulham's coming next, I really hope we collect our heads soon. We need a lot of wins now for the CL spot and I'm not confident even in a win against Fulham anymore.

all matches 0:1 last night, did not had chance to watch matches, but Everton win gives hopes that we can catch CL in the end
West Ham was a tough one, and win over them is certainly good for CL fight

neighbors had another tough play, and Chelsea took all points from Anfield, so they stuck out from top 6, and they now have to chase CL trophy this season, league seems to be too hard for them Smiley

Anyone else made a correct result on liverpool?

Nope, no one made a exact result on Liverpool - Chelsea. Few got close result though. I tried to go for the cheeky result of 0-0 but it didnt work out this time.

@Leea-1334 gets the Yellow Cap this round with 22 points, still cant beat Toke's record with 25 points. Meanwhile Tomahawk still standing strong on top with 8 points differences from the 2nd rank. Grats

hilariousando made a huge 6 position leap this round, currently stands on 11th with 8 points difference from 10th. As well as Big G with 7 position leap on 12th

Yay I finally made it! 22 points feels like a huge amount but as I can see from my position, I did not really climb up much at all,,, but still so happy to make yellow cap. Very bad total from 16 games however I must say.

Spurs did give me my 0-1 exact score and that made all the difference. Anyone who predicted 0-1 on all games last night on betting would won almost 1000x I think.

Did anyone win any points today?

This is just sad ,leicester drawed, sheffield won,who got points today is extremely lucky

Even manchester united flopping now...disguasting Undecided
I lost my multi bet due to these matches... I was clearly wrong about Leicester (even though Burnley didn't win), but I was also very surprised by the draw in the match of Crystal Palace with Manchester United. I also got zero points on March 3, so I'm really hoping that today's matches will be better. Only Liverpool vs Chelsea feels like a tricky one, but after yesterday I guess anything is possible with the other two matches as well... Luckily, this didn't push me down on the leaderboard, and I'm still at #10.

Mostly same on leicester and man united and those favorites.
Today i made a small comeback with hitting everton as an exact result and tottenham a close result, but liverpool flopped again at home and lost all points again on them, might not go for them at all anymore.

Anyone else made a correct result on liverpool?

Man VAR saved us with that offside review, and honestly Kabak as usual not used to our high line, and Alisson I think not at his sharpest. But we still went behind now, and I'm not sure I can see how we can get back from this. I initially thought Jota would start so was keen on the odds but not now on the evidence of first half so far. Chelsea deserve the lead, unfortunately.

Hope we turn things around 2nd half!

How is everyone here?
I really did not care much last few weeks and seeing myself still in top 10 is bit surprising. We lost hope for the title race. Boys are not in their game. So this season is kinda boring lately for me.

I guess one of the worse round I am in on the pool?

This image should prove it.

Anyway, we are going to play against Chelsea and are we going to end with another Anfield disaster?

I'm literally not surprised, I'm only 0.5 point better than you so far this round, I was 3rd place  2 weeks ago, and I struggling to be on 8th position now, Things can change is just one round, all needed is just one great round.

I still can't find myself going against Liverpool in these games, despite the doubts I've got.

I dunno. Getting two correct scores is decent enough and at 9.5 points it puts you about mid table of this round so better than nothing.
Something is very interesting on the leader-board, tomahawk9 is still leading and I am not sure how many weeks since he is at the top place. There are not much point distance in between top 10 users too. As we stand now, kryptqnick with 226.50 and tomahawk9 with 251.50

You can see the table updated by each round if you go to the leaderboard and click the pinkish banner at the top. I just checked. He's remarkably been number one since round 5. He's only won the yellow cap once so I think that's probably proof that consistency is key and slow and steady wins the race. How long can he stay there?  Grin As you said it's pretty close at the top as it usually is but there's quite a gap of 25 points between 1st and 10th place. Doesn't seem like much but you need a couple of exceptional rounds and hope those above you don't.

I agree.Consistency is key but no one won big points from yesterday nightmare results for the three games played. Not a single expected win and this says a lot about Premier League being one of the most unpredictable leagues from the major five in Europe.I hope tonight games gives us good results for the pool and for betting also.

Without any doubt tomahawk9 is the most consistent among us or it is such a hard job to be at the top since round 5! Unbelievable, but it's a fact now. I wonder how he performs when he gamble, if he does of course. Having such consistency is a dream for me.

Oh by the way, I do not dream to be at the top knowing my limitations. I am too emotional when it comes to Liverpool and always make my picks giving an edge to my team LOL.

Maybe I should be more realistic (although I have decided to go with another Liverpool win) and focus on stats than emotion in my picks. My primary goal is to have a spot in top 5. And seeing the distance and hoping others behind me do not escalate too much, I should be positive 😁

25 points between 1st to 10th is not really much to be honest considering the number of rounds we still have in hand.

I am happy for these two correct but looking at the number of wrong picks which are 9 out of 14 is very poor performance. There were three matches yesterday and none of them went as I expected. Hopefully I will be able to manage some points today.

I didn't get any either. Went with all 0-1 away wins. Conradicals got the first two games scores right though which bumped him up quite a way. I said they would be close games and likely would be draws but the teams were too hard to split for me. Today's three games could be tricky as well. Spurs and Everton should win but away maybe they'll slip up like teasm did yesterday,.

Hit the brick with first two predictions for today, and It doesn't look like Man United will be any different..

I guess I've totally underestimated the home sides or expected way too much from the visitors and I'm paying costly for that  Huh

I'm really not sure about Leicester. They have the last two lost games (PL and EL) and there they did not seem to have any chance to win. Every season in this time they had a period of poor results and it lasts about a month. (they lost the top 4 last season)
Also, they had so much injury to important players
That's true, but I hope they still have a chance. Of course, among the three matches from my bet, I'm most unsure about Leicester. However, they did win against Liverpool and Aston Villa, while Burnley has a very low win record this season. I guess they might have a draw, but I hope Leicester pulls everything it currently has together and wins this one. I think that even if they're definitely not at their best right now, they can still win against Burnley. Leicester is #3 when it comes to standings, whereas Burnley is #15.

I have to say I am quite happy to see myself joint top with our captain on the leaderboard for this week:) I had the first few close games that I picked a score with one extra goal,,, but nice to see 0-0 picks hit exact and close:)

I'm surprised. Didn't really expect to do well this round. I wonder if the points record will be beaten this week. 9.5 points more are needed for us to equal tokeweed's current best of 25 and there's six games left in this megaround.

And both of you are former yellowcappers too, so maybe we get to see our first former cappers on this megaround;) And as arallmuus points out, you actually get 1 slam point if you just get 2 more results correct... so easy right?Wink

I'm trying not to feel inadequate with my four points.

Today's games could be quite tricky. I think I'll stick to my original plan of narrow away wins but there's gotta be a draw in there I think and the Leicester match is probably the closest to likely happen. I'll wait for the line-ups though as I think Vardy is still playing. If he isn't then I probably would go with a draw.
Same here, I am expecting away victories and if I have to choose somebody who will not manage to get full 3 points it has to be Leicester. According to my info Vardy is closer to playing than sitting another one out but he is much more dangerous when playing against big teams which open up and leave space in the defense. Burnley will not give him that space for sure. Leicester is also missing a couple of very important in form players like Maddison, Barnes, Praet, Fofana, Justin and Perez.

Impossible to separate the two or any of these games (except City, they're on a roll that's only building momentum). I think Leicester will nick it even without half their preferred team, but I'm also tempted by a Palace draw or win (at 8/1). United are irresistible when they want to counter, but Palace showed Brighton how to best do it two games ago (2 goals from 2 attempts and 25% possession).

I had the first few close games

Too bad huh, We could have 3 points from Manchester City if the score was 2-1. The two last minutes goal cost us 2 extra points  Tongue.

I'm surprised. Didn't really expect to do well this round. I wonder if the points record will be beaten this week. 9.5 points more are needed for us to equal tokeweed's current best of 25 and there's six games left in this megaround.

Both of you needs to get atleast average of 1.5 points for the remaining matches to beat the record but you will only need atleast 8.5 points out of 6 matches to be equal with Toke's record because once both of you reach 10 correct result prediction, there will be an extra of 1 slam point.

Two more correct results to go for both of you but with 4/6 remaining matches in this round are mostly favourites vs underdogs , its going to be easy

With all these players out of the Leicester lineup, I still expect them to be solid enough defensively. Maybe under goals is a decent bet, even a cheeky u1,5 one.

I went for 0-1 for Leicester as well. Hoping to pull this through for another exact point. I need to catch up to top 20 or else it would be harder in the latter round
