I'm watching it. West Ham are just the better team and Leicester have been lacklustre. Annoying as I only needed Leicester to win for my five fold but doubt that will be coming in unless Leicester can turn things around pretty quickly in the first half.


I'm a Leeds fan but I had them pegged to be a relegation favourite. If they keep playing like they have been then there's no reason why they can't do really well this season. A point against City and nearly one against Liverpool is pretty good going.

I am not watching Leicester vs West Ham match but what is going on? Leicester are 2 down, only two users got them to win and it seems majority of us will walk away without any point in this match.

I am already considering my side bet with cryptofrka as a lose bet. I did not have much idea about this Leeds team in the beginning LOL

Leeds were getting better starting at the last 10 mins of the first half.  Their goal was due to an error in judgement by Ederson tho.  Still..  It's not an excuse for a club their level.  But shit happens.

And it's a good thing for Pep there are no fans.  After the CL disaster vs Lyon and the bad start of the campaign, we could be seeing the unthinkable:  PEP OUT banners.  Lawl.  The case for it is getting stronger and stronger.

I watched the video (fan made) of Everton's song, it's quite funny to watch and reminds me a lot about how happy a team and fans can be when you are on form and everything is working out for you. Good for them, who knows, they can pull of a Leicester? Ancelotti is a great coach after all. But we'll know when Merseyside derby comes to town and we see how both fare up. So quick into the season and already teams are killing each other all over the place. City is shameful but too early to say anything.

I will either end today significantly richer or hanging on the ropes First 4 games in Premier league look like such easy victories for home teams so I did not resit and placed way too many bets. I locked my pool picks to check the consensus and most of us in the pool agree as well. Hopefully, that City slip up yesterday was enough and these games will pass easy and if another favorite has to drop some points, this time I am hoping it is Liverpool. Only one I haven't put money on since it is lowest odds and Mane has covid so maybe someone else drops out before the match as well. Sorry all you Liverpool fans out there.

Leicester - West Ham - West ham really surprised me against Wolves but I doubt they can repeat a performance like that and Leicester has enough qoulity to bring them down for sure. Maybe another Vardy VAR penalty party incoming

Southampton - WBA - Southampton looked better in last game and I believe they will now start their climb to the places they deserve. They are good team and I saw them as top 10 material before the league started.

Arsenal - Sheffield - Arsenal at home is always good and Sheffield did not score a single goal this campaign. I am expecting easy win for Arsenal with them keeping a clean sheet unless Brewster jumps in the first team and clicks immediately

Wolves - Fulham - Wolves will want to erase that 4:0 slap from last week and what better opposition to do that than Fulham. This could be another tough night for Fulham after loosing 3:0 to lower league side in the cup during the week.

I expect all those favorites to win even with the handicap so I simply had to splash out a very big chunk of my betting bank. Usually when I do something like this it fails miserably but hopefully the time has come for such a gamble to work out.

their next match against Liverpool could be an early turning point, if they win then it'll boost confidence and extend their winnig streak and points lead, but if they lose in spectacular fashion, could be a massive reality check, liverpool saying like "Hey! we beat your weak ass today, you're not as good as you think are, ok? " lol

Me too, I picked 3-2 but that was expecting both sides to be leaking goals but as it turned out, City mostly sprayed their shots wide, while Leeds my god, they were so calmly waltzing through the final third almost TOO calmly, that jinking move end of first half should have been a super goal!

Didn't watch the second half but saw 7 shots on goal vs City's 1. Bielsa said a win wouldn't have been deserved, how graceful of him=D I'm in 12th place yay!

I knew there was a surprise today in this or Chelsea game, unfortunately I backed the wrong one, both in the pool and with my bets. I managed to get at least most of the money back with late multi of Everton win and both to score on City game.

Leeds were good again and they had better chances to score another goal than City. There were two great defense reactions from Ederson but he is also the guilty party for the goal so we can't praise him too much. City could have gotten a penalty, there was a couple of borderline situations on Sterling and a handball while sliding. All in all a deserved point for Leeds.

Did not watch Everton today but they have really impressive start to the season and maybe we can finally see them inside top 6 at the end

No correct scores yet but I've got all the outcomes right so far today. I'm surprised only two other people went for the draw on the Leeds/City game as Leeds have been playing pretty well in my opinion. Three backed Leeds to win and the rest was City away wins. City dominated the first half but I think Leeds were the better team in the second, though they started to struggle towards the end but got the deserved point.

HT now..  It's an uneventful match and mostly bland from Chelsea.  You'd expect more from them having that squad on the pitch.  

Edit:  Seeing how Chelsea was playing in the first half, I almost hope it ends with 0 - 1 Palace for the lulz.

I better work hard to get some points this round. You who lock can see who I pick so no need to explain but I might see if betting is a different story. The toughest seems to be Newcastle Burnley. I have no idea about these teams even though I saw them a whole season last time around, they are just so erratic. Should be easy Chelsea Everton City wins right? Or worth betting on ML Palace, Brighton and Leeds?

today starts the 4th matchday in the premier league with:

chelsea - palace
everton - brighton
leeds - man city
newcastle - burnley

i am curious to see if the fc chelsea finally finds its form and if a whole game shows a good performance...

We are in very early stages so many ups and downs will come no worries just do your good work hopefully all will be ok in next few rounds I am also doing some good but still way down in rank hopefully will be in good for some next rounds.

Dude, I’m 41th out of 50, I suck so far. I’m plugging away though & have submitted my predictions for this round of matches already. Surely our luck must change soon, no?

Oh it could definitely be much worse, just look at me sitting in 43rd place. I was equally bad last season so it seems I really do suck at premier league. Did pretty well in La Liga last season and so far 4/13 in another one group.

But 1 good round is all it takes to move up many places at the moment!

No, I didn't see it but figured it was only a matter of time before someone spotted he was ban evading. A few people were banned last year during the pool but it doesn't really matter. They can contact me via superbru if they win anything. Bitsat is one of the players that hasn't paid yet though so if he doesn't by the 12th he'll be removed anyway.

I forgot for a $50 bonus per yellow cap 

@hilariousetc I'm not sure you saw it, but the user BitSat19 is banned a few days ago. I see that he is still active on Superbru pool and I'm not sure how to manage cases like this. I have nothing against them to stay there but it can be a little bit complicated if they win something.

As Trofo said, the weekly yellow caps mean a lot more this season as the $50 free bet is quite lucrative. I will probably do at least one consolation prize for the highest yellow cap scorer overall as well and maybe even pay a couple of places, but I'm waiting till everyone has paid before I announce them so I know what budget we've got.
