^  Yup.  Arteta shouldn't have left Pep at City.  But you know.  Arsenal gotta make an offer he can't refuse, pull off what Chelsea and United did and be with the trend.  Cheesy

Arteta should have been given more time and let him manage a small club somewhere imo..  To gain some experience.  Just like what Gerrard is doing.

I am not actually sure how much this Arsenal results are a consequence of poor managing by Arteta. I actually quite liked what he did with the squad but in the end he has quite limited squad to fight for top PL positions. Auba stopped firing and than we immediately have a toothless Arsenal.

Only bright spot for me is Saka, that kid is going places. Either with Arsenal or somebody else.

A pretty unpredictable round this week. I'm on a mere 2.5 points so far but it seems about 3.5 was the average score this week. Might even be able to get the yellow cap though if I get tonight's two game's scores right (and the ones above me don't). I thought I was going to get the 2-1 Southampton win but then they went and blew it. Looks like Ollie is saved yet again. I think Arteta might be the first to go the way Arsenal are playing right now.

Just started watching Arsenal - Wolves and immediately there was a bad injury to Jimenez, not sure if he is even conscious. It looks really bad and physios/doctors are administering help for more then 5 minutes now. Hopefully it is nothing serious, keeping my fingers crossed.

I did not see what happened exactly, looks like head collision with David Luiz. Luiz seems to be fine with bad cut on the head.

Didn't watch the game but caught the highlights. They didn't even show the incident or comment on it.

Luiz probably shouldn't have been allowed to play on looking at that, but seems they took him off at half time. Turns out Jiminez had surgery for a fractured skull:

It really is a great week for me I managed to get my first yellow hat,And now I'm planning to get a second hat Angry
In fact, this season is difficult to predict the outcome of the EPL matches. I wish the participants good results in the remaining courses
The best round is a 7 for jermypwr with 16.5 points.

You have the target on your back now for everybody to chase haha Wink
16.5 points nice, I’m sure last year somebody got 21 points in one week or something. CL on tonight but we return to do battle this weekend  Tongue

Yes, I think hilariouscandco got 21 points last year. What a week I think will be the worst of all I only got 2,5 points, apparently LFC-bitcoin is very close to getting yellow hat for this week!! Undecided

Half the table could get the yellow cap right now as he's only on 7.5 points.

very bad predictions I've made so far in this round, for the remaining matches I need to earn some more cause I don't like the spoon  Grin
I'm for Leicester and Villa to win

Leicester should easily win but not sure about Villa. Not sure what I'll go for on that one yet but probably won't be an away win.

Leicester already have six championship wins and Fulham play very bad on as a guest
In mutual duels, the home team usually wins, and Leicester should win this one as well, I am still balancing between 2 or 3 for Leicester and 0 for Fulham

West Ham and Aston Villa, both currently sitting in the middle of the Premier leaderboard, West Ham having some difficult home games, and Villa on the other side conceding a minimum of goals on their away games is a metric of under scored goals, hmm.... I'm going for a 0:1 here cause I have to catch up somehow my points this round anyway  Grin

I agree that Leicester should win against weak Fulham side. Nothing much to analyze here. They are better side, playing in better form and playing on home pitch. This is my main bet for today.

West Ham - Villa, I have not idea for what to go here. I was thinking both to score but then I saw that there is not many goals scored in their past encounters. Probably going for 1-1 draw in the pool and skipping betting on this one.

Spot on weren't you, in the end about the dour nil-nil.
Called it, but unfortunately did not cash on it. Never like playing that under markets.

I think LFC_Bitcoin should get a special prize for yellow cap in a tight round;) The tables luckily did not move so much, but I still slipped a couple of positions so far. Not really hoping for anything big this round, but definitely hoping at least I keep up with the last 2 games! So crazy to see that many big 6 hopefuls lost points,,, Manchester teams did well though!

every round is tight, there are always a few points of difference and the prize for the Ycap is fair enough  Wink

let's try to grab more than 2 points on those remaining games playing today

I watched most of the game and I must say I liked what I saw from United today, they had some good chances in first half as well but Greenwood was a bit off his game. They believed even when they were 2 goals down and managed to turn it. That being said Southampton was also very good and they continue to surprise me. They are playing without Ings for some time now and he is arguably their best player.

I am a bit afraid Chelsea - Spurs will turn out to be boring game after this one was so open.

Saints the complete surprise package for me too. They did lose in the end, so they know they got things to fix, but to continue winning games and collecting points without their best player, and taking the lead against United, toke wasn't completely crazy far off when he said their manager's probably even someone to consider if they want a long-term build (only if they can't get someone better heh).

Spot on weren't you, in the end about the dour nil-nil.

There are 7 other players that have 1 point right now , not to mention that there are few that didnt submit any score prediction for this round and also this is probably a bad week for everyone. LFC bitcoin is in the lead but with only 7.5 points after 8/10 matches. On average, the leading player would have gained over 10 points after 8 matches so yeah this is just one of those bad week with unexpected results.

I was stuck with 2 points until I hit the exact score for Arsenal vs Wolves.

No better time to forget putting in your scores huh. toma you bastard, still extending your lead even in a shitty week;)

Yeah quite some good chances missed. It was Cavani who put some effort and commitment in second half through some diving headers and some crazy movements. Man Utd. have got themselves a good poacher with experience. With Martial out of form I really thought that Ole would hand Cavani some chances with starting lineup.

I didn't watch the game but I wasn't surprised about the scoreline.

I knew Manchester United would win, even if it was going to be by the tiniest margin, I had them to win in the pool as well as in my 3-game parlay 😎😎

I think if United are still planning on hiring Poch, there's a cheaper option..  He's managing the side they're playing against right now.  Grin  'Consider this the job interview.'.

S’ton manager would be cheaper wages too I guess, they could do a lot worse. Man United have a nice squad now, it’s not perfect but they could probably really compete for titles if they get a better manager.

Thought I got this spot on when Saints already led at half time (my prediction was 2-0). De Gea probably cost them that half, OSG did the right thing with the Henderson sub (though his hand was forced anyway with the injury). They're 3-2 now with Cavani, congrats to whomever picked United. Game's not over yet but I expect they'll see this through. What a sucker punch Saints will have felt with this blow.

Back to old glory days, United?

Think it’s the first weekend I’ve got 2 EXACT predictions come in (3 points x 2). I’m still too annoyed about our game to be happy about this though Cheesy

I suppose it puts me in a good position to fight for a yellow hat. Three games tomo!

Thought the Leeds game was gonna be another 0-0 thriller like it was with Arsenal last week but Leeds went and got the goal late on. I thought they dominated the first half and deserved the win, even though I backed them to lose. At least Leeds aren't conceding a ridiculous amount like they were, but these last two games shorelines really haven't been indicative of their performances.

Just popping on to say what a joke the PL officiating is atm. VAR is ruining the game, I’m so fed up with it. Every week something screws us, getting so annoying. You can’t even celebrate a goal any more because there’s always a good chance VAR are going to **** you.

I didn't watch it but just checked the highlights now and again it's one of those decisions where they've used a bad angle. Had they had a 'birds eye view' or one directly down the line it might have been onside, but either way who cares about these millimetre decisions. I seriously think they should consider allowing them if one part of the body is onside... or preferably getting rid of VAR  Grin.

The last penalty was harsh, even though there was minor contact. Had he not purposely gone down with the amateur dramatics it wouldn't have been given. Not surprisingly nobody backed the draw but two people did go with the 1-0 home win.

You not alone few minutes back I check on telegram group too many peoples  fed up with this VAR thing as they have some good amount on Liverpool and they all lost badly so they was also crying its really frustrating but authorties love to have this because they can manipulate results for their own sack which is badly killing beauty of soccer even already coved is also giving some serious after shocks empty stadiums also hurting.
