Really surprised we have less participants this year. I guess this corona crises has hit some of hard and it isn't so easy to throw away money on entertainment/betting. There is still time until season starts so I hope we will hit higher numbers but 34 sounds like a bit of stretch.

^ How about moving it to the main gambling section and remove the sigs...? That'll make it a lot more visible and discourage spamming at the same time.
If still nobody's interested then that's a huge overlay with the sponsor money in there. Good for the ones who joined.

Remove sigs? What do you mean? Regardless and as I said above, you can't just move threads to more popular boards in the hope more people will see them. The only sub this thread belongs in is Gambling Discussion and the only sub the sign-up thread belongs in is Games and Rounds so I can't move them anywhere even if I wanted to.
If anyone is planning to pay/play but is just waiting for whatever reason then let me know and I'll add you to a 'to pay list' or something. It would be helpful to know how many users are planning to sign up so I can plan/adjust the prizes accordingly. We need 34 users to get a pot of 0.3 so if we don't hit that I'll have to lower the prizes from the currently stated ones in the sign up thread which would be a shame. mole0815 and jeremypwr have said they'll join and there were a couple others bur I won't add anyone unless they confirm their intent again.

Well I'm sure it would get much more eyes in the main Bitcoin Discussion sub but it doesn't belong in there and the sign up thread wouldn't be valid anywhere other than games and rounds. This thread is in Gambling Discussion so it's not like people aren't going to see it.
As for Messi, I'd be surprised if City can sort a deal within two weeks before the start of the season, not to mention if he does leave there will be legal issues that will probably prevent him from playing. La Liga already issued a statement saying he's still contracted to Barca as far as they're concerned but they probably don't want to see him go either as it would be a huge blow for La Liga. Barca will probably just give him his own way and offer him a lot more money to stay.

Ouch Charity Shield. Two losses on penalties two seasons in a row. Arsenal over the moon, and Rhian Brewster should have been on the field longer, that cracker smacked of youthful exuberance and adrenaline not yet quite in his veins.... oh well.
Liverpool always look bad without their first 11 and missing Trent and Hendo was key. Still, Mane had enough chances, just wasn't to be. Glad to get the loss out of the system though.

I will skip the friendly but looking forward to the Arsenal-Liverpool game. Charity shield will be a nice substitute for Premier League and will give us a chance to see how Arsenal will look this season. I don't expect any changes in Liverpool lineup and the way they approach the game. And of course the Charity Shield is on later between Arsenal and Liverpool.
