It's taking the fun out of it for me and seemingly the players. Oftentimes they don't celebrate and you can't as a spectator either because half of the time they get disallowed. It's a joke. Stealing the win in the last minute should be something both fans and players go mental over, but now it's just going mental over var. I still think they should adjust the offside rule somehow or at least only check goals if there's a concern or the opposite team wants to use one of their three claims.

Have to say it once again, this VAR checks have became so ridicules that if I had the club I would have mandatory nail clippings and haircuts done before every game. I was thinking on putting some money on both to score in both halves and of course I did not. I chose Napoli - Atalanta game instead and Napoli rektd Atalanta 4:0 in first half.

Really hope that injury to VVD is nothing serious, I never like to see players getting of after unnatural rotations of the knee. Can be quite a lengthy injury but VVD walked off the pitch by himself so hopefully it is just something short.

Ah sorry yeah, I misread the pick, thought it was 2 corners each and Everton had exactly 2 corners. And yeah, I wish my brain remembers not to celebrate cause I honestly thought we got it in the bag at 92nd min. Forgot to wait for VAR and as soon as the decision took forever, I knew we were going to have to settle for the draw.

Pity. I thought we just barely deserved 3 points.

Unfortunately not. Everything came in apart from I needed two Everton corners in the second half and they had zero. It's often the corners that let me down. I missed out on I think a 180/1 or something a couple of weeks ago by one corner. Finished 2-2 so at least I got the correct score on the pool. Liverpool had a goal cancelled in the last minute for being a millimeter offside on var as well.

I suppose we cann't be having 6/7 goal thrillers all of the time eh? 5 mins on the clock and it does look like we're going to be sharing points again. I think we should still have won this earlier. I was starting to sweat a little as Everton only had one corner kick looking at the stats but then they got another a minute or so before half time so my bet is still in running. I'm really looking forward to see Thiago tho.  I think he'll prolly have the most impact among the new signings in the EPL.

Well nobody is doing as bad as me  . I'm sure I'll bounce back but not sure I'll get close to a paid place especially as there's 50 users now.


It's barely enforced here but the police have been breaking things like weddings and parties up because they've had more than the allowed number of guests. Most people are wearing masks but at least a quarter don't have them covering their nose so it's pointless. They're now talking about even more extreme measures and locking down entire cities again, especially ones in the north where I am. It's stopping a lot of sports from happening like big boxing fights because they can't go on without the fans unless. A lot of teams aren't going to be able to survive if they don't get the fans back as that's the main source of income for a lot of teams outside of the big ones.

^^^Yeah, the rules are getting more and more ridiculous where I am too, and it's also not enforced anyway so you could be doing it and everyone else on the crowded public transport isn't, so it's pointless anyway. Anyway.

Hoping we don't suffer more Covid cases for Everton, there's never been a better time for the blue side of Mersey to hit us.

Keeping my predictions... and thinking of betting 1 each on Southampton, Arsenal and Newcastle as I just feel like one of them will pip the favourite. 6/1, 6/1 and 5/1 for those three. Not bad value, right?

My predictions are done, I’m fed up of performing so badly, fingers crossed for a yellow cap this weekend hehe.
Either way I’m glad the PL is back this weekend, the internationals just don’t do it for me.

I tried to be smart every single week since last season and it gets me bottom. I overthink too much and should just go with favorites because eventually, that will come to the average score over the weeks. I read that goals in EPL are totally unsustainable now so average laws will mean fewer goals over the weeks, and 0-0 draws are coming. I don't know if I can actually make those picks though.

I'm not expecting it to come in but they're always an entertaining bet and you're not banking on a winner and the more goals and cards the more entertaining it becomes. I don't think I can pick a winner in the match so might go for a draw.


I usually just stick with Skybet to keep it simple. I like their odds and offers as well. The bet for the Liverpool/ Everton game is 66/1. I put a quid on it. IF you make a minimum of 5p bet on any market on the match they give you a free £5 bet which is nuts. Have 3 or 4 or these so far this season.


I think we should just carry on as normal rather than ruin the economy likely for decades and life for millions. Ronaldo's got the coronavirus apparently but it's almost certainly going to be no different than him having the flu at worse but apparently he's asymptomatic. Apparently he was even watching the players at training without a mask on so like 99% of others he's probably going to be fine. If footballers start dying from it then I might change my opinion. Rather than waste billions of taxpayers money on furloughing people they should have just built more hospitals in the first place since we obviously need them. The elderly and at-risk and anyone else that is worried about it can stay at home and everyone else can carry on an normal unless it changes into a zombie plague or something. Getting tired of all these contradictory lockdown bullshit rules. Can't meet your family in your own homes but you can get on a packed bus as long as you wear a mask to meet them in a packed restaurant for a meal where you don't have to wear a mask... just as long as it's not after 10PM then you're not allowed to do it.

Most of the games in previous weeks had clear favourites in my mind and I made picks easy. That did not work so well as my points and rank show. Now this week all the games look suspicious to me and I have no clue what results to pick. That means that I will do extremely well and win yellow cap. Right?

I don't mean to plug Sportsbet here but their new betbuilder is exactly what allows for these types of bets (I'm a sucker for those specials sometimes). They seem to have a small boost to each selection too, so you end up with a nice bump too. Not quite the value of Skybet but definitely something I like to think about.

I usually go for over 1.5 cards and over 8.5 corners on a games I expect to be very attacking/defending on one end. It's when both teams play the same style I avoid. They're not really very good value odds on their on but they tape on significant boosts on ML odds.

I had no idea you get 80/1 for that kind of thing. Going to have to see if can build that sort of bet next time. The way teams are playing these days...

Dunno...  I'm not too sure that would be a good idea with many of the players from both sides just right off from international duty.  I think it's gonna be a tight match and I'm thinking of dropping a little action on the first half result draw at a tad over plus money.

Edit:  Double chance for Arsenal at 2.87 seems like value too.  KDB and Sterling were pulled out during international duty.  That's huge if they can't play, esp KDB.

Edit:  Another spot I like is Brighton draw no bet at 1.92 vs Palace.  There's a little value there imo.
