Brighton have failed to hold City and with their remaining run of fixtures it is difficult to see a team that will, except Tottenham. It will be ironic if we can beat Tottenham and they take points from City potentially giving Arsenal the league.

Brighton have done themselves no favors tonight, nothing like the team that drew with City at home last season at a similar point. Sure there have been injuries and the second goal was not a freekick, but they were not just competitive tonight at all.

About Everton Liverpool derby, that was not what i expect , i was expecting a super ahrd game for Liverpool and them winning for a little amrgin, in the worst case a draw but i never expect a lose for them.

Even most of the pool backed Liverpool to win though except for 1 player. Kinda surprising that someone would pick Everton especially after Liverpool lost to Crystal Palace, its really hard to even picture that they would lose another one pretty fast

Anyways congratulation for Everton who won after 14 years and also with this win they can breath a lot more easy being out of relegation fight.

I guess its pretty safe to even say that they are already out of the relegation though. 3 of their 4 remaining fixtures are against Brentford, Luton and Sheffield so as long as they could get 4 points out of those 3 games or 4 games ( against Arsenal ) then they should be safe from the relegation zone. Its 2 remaining spot on relegation because Sheffield is pretty much not gonna make it with only 16 points as of now

Big games today!

I love midweeks games, i feel like they made the week more easy to carry until the weekend reach.

Everton Liverpool is gonna be a high emotional game, not only for the derby itself, but because Everton needs the points in the fight for relegation and Liverpool need the points for the title fight.

And we have the most shit team in the league, Crystal Palace playing today, what a unpredictable team they are. I really hate them.

Doesnt age well for me.... But i was in the correct, what a shit is Crystal Palace always destroying my predictions.

1 point from 4 games today - as we get closer to the end I keep getting worse and worse.

Another horrible LFC performance, this loss basically marks the end of the season for us. We've been below average for a month or 2, so it was just a matter of time.

Really a shame to end the Klopp era like this, I wanted to be in the fight for a trophy at the end of the season. We look so tired and out of ideas, and we can't score sitters if our lives depended on it.

I don't think anyone can get more than 6. Who would say Everton would beat Liverpool for first time since David Moyes? And Newcastle losing after being so good in recent games?

It's a very sad way to end Klopp reign. Kinda similar to Xavi reign except you guys get to earn one small trophy and Xavi is looking like they want him to change his mind.

I'm climbing up slowly though every game week, now in 12th, so I have a small chances, as long as everyone keeps dropping. You're in top 5, still big prizes Smiley

If it weren’t for the 8-point penalty, Everton would be practically in the middle of the standings; they are not weak at all compared to the clubs that are fighting for survival.
With an extra 8 points they will be above 40 points, this is used as an assurance point for any team to stay up in the league, easily 13th or 14th in the league. They are 8 points away from the drop zone with 4 games to play and the wind in their sales. They also play 3 of the teams in and around the relegation battle, must win matches for everyone involved.

2 weeks ago, City started the match week and won 5-1, Liverpool followed and lost and then Arsenal did. No, Arsenal won 5-0, Liverpool just followed with a loss, anything could happen tomorrow at Brighton.

Great game from Everton, huge 3 points in the battle to stay in the Premier league, they always find a way to avoid relegation. Liverpool look to have run out of the "give-Klopp-a -dramatic-finish" juice which pushed them on for much of the season.

Another thing is that I did not expect that they would be able to beat Liverpool and bury their chances for the title. Thank God I refrained from placing a bet, for general reasons it looked reliable (Liverpool should not have lost for the third time in 5 games).
Newcastle also surprised today and allowed United to overtake them, lol. And yes, judging by how the game went, it was still the same crap, even if we ended up with three points.

The Best Tipster on the Forum!!
Sean Dyche is the master of the universe. DCL is the prime striker of the league. And Ashley Young is the dominator of Salah. Just another night of fantastic football, just sorry to be on the losing end of it.

Over to you, Arsenal, make this one count.

Everton finally won at home against Liverpool after 14 years and in the moment when Liverpool need the win badly for the title. I think now its all over for Liverpool and we will just see a battle between Man City and Arsenal and i think it will be really close between these two teams, but my money is on Man City to win the title.

Celebrating in front of the club fans who pulled you out of a famer's league to give you a name in Europe and the biggest medal of his career is embarrassing; we're pleased we sold and now hate him.
One will think you took a risk with a player that was out of favor at his club and no one was willing to buy at the time,

"...Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich also want Havertz but they are not in a position to pay Leverkusen's asking price without selling players. Manchester United are also interested but their priority signing this summer is Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund[1]"

These are some of the clubs that were interested in signing Havertz at the time, not a bad bunch at all. He scored the winning goal on the final, he was as useful to the club as they were to him. Your fans have also piled on him since his move to Arsenal, No loyalty both ways.

I'm still confused how Jackson got to the professional level; his dad must be wealthy because there's no way to describe him. He pauses in front of a goal, too afraid to use his head.
He just looks to be a misfit. He has the pace of a winger, but not the fast feet and he is too tall to easily wiggle around full backs. He makes good runs and find spaces but does not have any natural killer instincts in front of goal. Loads of talent but no perfect position.

I'm confused as to why Poch keeps playing him - to me his value and reputation as a manager is going down the drain.

Poch is out of his depth; with that disastrous lineup, you'd think we'd be facing Real Madrid in the Champions League next Tuesday, which is why he's left Silva, Trevor, and Chukuemeka on the bench.

Jackson has his nudes because there is no valid excuse for why he is still starting games rather than warming the bench. Jackson had never played as a lone striker before coming to Chelsea. Werner and Morata weren't that bad.

Palmer has been saving this Bast....from day one.

"... £60 million down the drain, Kai Havertz scores again".

5 star performance from the goonerz, have controlled the game well and taken their chances when available., cannot say the same for Chelsea. When you lead your lines with Jackson, you're doing your opponents lots of favours with the number of big chances he misses.

Quiet ride back to West London for your players and fans igehbotz  Cheesy

The Mudryk transfer is understandable: it was Abramovic's only option of showing support to the Ukrainian government, and it was his final request. He's not a footballer. We respect that.

I can't believe that for the first time in 25 years, I turned off London Derby after Kai Havertz's first goal and never returned. I saw the final score on my phone. Never seen us play this shit since I became a fan; we are truly Cole Palmer FC.

Beautiful football from the Bottlers tonight. Well deserved.

Chelsea, better make my day/night worthwhile as I'm watching you. Torn about wanting Arsenal to drop points so Liverpool have a better sniff at the finish line... because if we don't, then it's another title to City. Can't bear either, but maybe less unhappy if Arsenal wins.

Deduction derby, relegation derby, Everton finally came up on top with some good goals and a clean sheet. Not the player I preferred to see scoring but they won't care.

It probably shouldn't have bee a clean sheet though. A lot of controversy around VAR as Forest should have probably had three penalties that weren't given and two of them were handballs.

Didn't realise that until later actually, read the reports myself and they do have a point. The VAR official also having questionable alliances? Not  good look for VAR or for the FA. But they have been mucking around with egg on their face all season really.

VAR is useless when they don't even get these calls right.
A good tool in the wrong hand will be useless.
The officiating in the EPL is just poor all round with or without VAR. Simple decisions made during the games which the technology does not get involved in gets called wrongly way too often. Referees officiate based on their moods and not the rules, they can decide to not be in the mood to give yellow cards and start overlooking clear bookable offences till the game spirals out of their control.

I can't say if it's the training or the management and supervision, but something needs to be fixed.

VAR is useless when they don't even get these calls right.

Only the English VAR is useless since we all saw how it was used during the just finished AFCON competition; the technology is good but dangerous in the hands of shady English referees... NFO complained about the VAR officials before the game, asked for a change, and nothing was done.

- NFO has officially asked for the audio recordings of three clear incidents. As usual the PGMOL will release the record and still protect their own. Or give a  fat Sorry and move on.
Valid point every time going to protect own peoples and giving shady sorry is not going to help they needed to do something better or stop to use this because we are having too many complaints about this in current season even we have a good number of matches which are having impact on many teams ranking due to wrong decisions.
If they are not able to do this all with better way then surely they need to stop this and stay away from this all use of technology which is much better for all stakeholders.
