Man, you made it through the easiest group stages--it seems more like a Europa League group-- played Porto and a BROKEN Bayern, who are currently in their lowest form. You didn't consider the "kids" excuse before trending the "Pray for Bayern" hashtag.  Grin
A real football fan knows there is nothing like the easiest or hardest group. You have to step into the pitch and actually step into the pitch and fight it out for 90 minutes. Look at how you are doing in the league against teams that will be considered an "walk over" group.
Hashtags? Every club banters, many do it for engagement on X. No actual football fan actually hinges on that either.

Chelsea won their last Champions League trophy with the competition's youngest team (average age 19-23). You guys been given these inexperienced kids excuse since the Arsene Wenger era. Nobody cares anymore. Just win the damn trophy
A range is not an average age, stop trying to drop the numbers as low as possible.

We need to take advantage of Mancity fatigue state from the 120mins against Madrid this week this weekend
I hope you do, it is your best shot at getting into any European comp for next season.

Nobody is surprised except Arsenal fans - you guys had the easiest run and still somewhat fumbled it. Played a broken Bayerm and still get kicked out.  Grin
In no world is a run with Bayern in it the easiest one. They are Champions league elite with tons of experience in their squad while almost all of ours were in their first outing. they will get better.
All attention swings back to the league now. I somehow think there is still a chance even with how good City are at this stage. It is imperative we keep the distance in the goal difference.

I could maybe understand if a proper player was upset (like the Mbappe - Neymar case) - although it is Palmer who is leading that team and is by far the best player on it.
Jackson is an average player with a below average season, I'm really not sure what he was expecting.

Chelsea really has nothing left to play this season, if I was Poch he'd be in the reserves, playing as a full-back.

To be honest, we still have a long way to go on the table; the Europa League spot is still up for grabs, and we're 13 points behind with one game remaining. Jackson's season has been below average, and he does not score as frequently as he should, but he is a ball carrier who is essential to the team's attack; he creates a lot of space for Palmer to attack from the wing. He needs discipline, but not with game time.

Silva was booted out of the starting lineup because of his wife's comments about Poch, and our defence became shit. We don't want our attack to suffer; Palmer needs Jackson right now.

We were admittedly second best against Bayern last night, but still proud of the run the boys made.

Noticed everything happened under Poch - tells you much about his dressing room and team management skills. He's just too nice to be a good manager. Bold of Jackson not to celebrate with his teammates - never seen anyone so childish at his age in my life.
The Neymar/Cavani incident I do not think was under Poch. But the only way to go is up now for Chelsea. City should be in low spirits for the F.A cup semi final this weekend giving Chelsea a very good chance.

I don't understand that a quite badly performing player like Jackson this season has this much ego. While Palmer was going for being top scorer Chelsea players should have respected him more. I still think that Chelsea have a good chance to defeat Arsenal away which have a bad morale now.

The players were just being petulant. Chelsea did not had a first choice taker early this season cause no one has shown real quality and reliability from 12 yards. Fast forward to now, it is obvious who the penalty taker is and everyone has slotted into place. There may have been a decision already reached in the dressing room, we do not know for sure but can assume there has been.

Jackson/Noni were being petulant, just as Mbappe/Neymar and Neymar/Cavanni before that.

No bold statement was made until the last incident, he laughed over the Sterling - Palmer incident like nothing happened.

Blame it on Poch; he had more than two months to make a big statement and inform the players who his first choice penalty taker was following the Palmer vs Stealing incident, but he didn't.

Without checking I am quite sure nobody got more than a point in Chelsea game  Grin
With their erratic form, no one expected them to win so easily, much less by 6 goals and to keep a clean sheet too. Only stain on a near perfect performance was the disgraceful display from Jackson and Madueke. School boy stuffs they way they handled that, Jackson refusing to celebrate with Palmer after the penalty gave an idea of how that dressing room will be.

Too afraid to speak up against a senior player, he faced the same penalty problem at PSG. Mbappe and Neymar used to quarrel over penalties.

As a coach, you make decisions about penalty takers and captains before the season begins, not in the middle.

Seems like my physical preparation for this season made by me coach was a mess. My team is running out of gas just in the most important part of the season.

I try to give some Vitamins (anabolics) to the guys to see if we can recover.

Everton, always there to cheer me up after Liverpool have a bad result. They always manage to go one better and be even worse. Currently 2-0 down to Chelsea, Cole Palmer is looking like a great young player.

Really hope Everton finally go down, Forest and Luton are even worse though.

I've been hoping Eveton would be relegated for several years, but they keep winning the relegation battle and have managed to stay up. Their squad and management are, at best, championship-level. Their fans may never agree, but if Everton is relegated, I believe they will become another Portsmouth.

Arsenal and Liverpool fans getting humbled in less than 24hr. Title run una  Grin

Congrats to Trofo for winning the Round 33 Yellow Cap
Thanks

Getting on the roll here. After solid start to the season I was dropping down the ranks but now with couple of yellow caps recently I feel like I have a shot of upsetting paid positions.

A lot of shock results over the weekend. Nobody picked Palace to beat Liverpool and only one person backed Villa over Arsenal. Are Chelsea going to follow suit with a loss tonight?  Grin I doubt many people will go for a home loss but I'm thinking twice about it now.

So Arsenal and Liverpool decided to hand over the trophy to Manchester City today by losing huh. Im tired of watching them win, someone gotta stop their domination. Pep going to have a chance on Treble all over again.

They're still in it as both Arsenal and Liverpool are only 2 points behind, though City do have the easiest fixtures. At least it can still be a close title race.

Yes, just imagine betting on all the underdogs yesterday, you can make a fortune.

Aston Villa x10 Crsytal Palace odss x11, incredible, and also incredible how and why Aston Villa has 10 odds being a super competitive team and Crsital Palace being a weak one has only 1x more. I dont know what the bookies see.

They see nothing and they just want to deceive the players as much as they can,in fact if you check the odds of many soccer events as soccer is the sport we have the better information compared to other sports you will eventually spot that the bookies are most of the time messing with the players by not giving them real odds, for example a team that should had the odd of 1.5-1.55 like in the case of Arsenal yesterday night they only had like 1.22-1.28 odd in different bookmakers,I judge this exactly like you,the form of Aston Villa is great and you cannot give Arsenal the range of 1.20 odds, also in the standings if you see,you will spot the form, yesterday Aston Villa just confirmed that.

I guess that makes two, speaking of second guessing the decision I made already, It likely would have been a different ball game were it been the beginning of the season, or even midway in, but now every single point seem to matter twice as much as they used to, it's an easier decision to drop point along with a contender going for the easier call, than choosing to follow one's guts at the risk of dropping further down the pecking order, tough times, truly!
