Was looking forward to a point from the 0-0 draw on the Watford/Leicester game then Chilwell went and scored a screamer in the 90th minute. Even worse was tokeweed and hayhay (who is 0.5 points behind me) would have got the full three points. Then Watford's Dawson goes and scores an overhead kick in the last minute of play to get me the correct 1-1. Was a largely uneventful game until the last dying moments but both goals were great. I think a lot of the games will be close or potential draws today.

Seems reasonable, I don’t see why that bet won’t win. It definitely had a good chance, fingers crossed for you buddy. It’s the small things in life isn’t it but life is so much better with the football back.

Well done to those who went for 1-1. Fair result I guess, especially after Pogba's introduction, the whole mood lifted but credit to Spurs they ran United close. Gotta say if Kane weren't Kane, I'd have subbed him at HT. Invisible, out of sorts, gave possession away, and just off pace. Was like they were playing 4-2-3-0.
@hilarious yeah I was almost as upset as Mou when the ref pointed to the spot. Not even United claimed for penalty (except Fernandez) and was funny to see every United fan on Zoom praying for VAR but it would have been a disgrace for it to get that wrong! You're right, fair point for both sides, even if United got lucky with the penalty, they would have scored on another day on this sort of game.

Looks like I'm a bit better than you (so far). Took a Saints/Spurs/Barca parlay for just over 16/1. Was actually a lot more confident in Southampton than in Spurs (3/1 to win) and I thought I chose wrong when the game started but tide turned after the water break (Mou seemed to whisper something secret to Bergwjn haha). So far so good for me.

Fucking Dier giving away a penalty with ten minutes to go screwing up my perfect score. United probably deserved a goal though and 1-1 was a fair score as the game was pretty 50-50 and Lloris pulled off a couple of great saves. Glad VAR actually did something useful for once and disallowed the second penalty that was given as it clearly wasn't a penalty.
Can't say I'm that excited about the games tomorrow but I'll probably watch the Watford - Leicester City one. Leicester trying to stay in the Champion's League spots and Watford are trying to avoid relegation.

He doesn’t look like the same GK the last few seasons, his level has definitely dropped. I guess when you’re not competing for the big trophies you’re not as sharp.

Gone for 1-0 on the United game and it's that score at halftime. Hopefully they can hold out but I think there will be more goals.
The fake crowd noise is much better in this game. Even the cheers when they scored seemed to be much more natural than the other matches.

Same thing happened in La Liga and it was the same story when the Bundesliga resumed...Expect similar performance once the full PL matchweek kicks off (:
I can't really say I followed anyone else except for Liverpool on IG (I actually am not even active but once a week or so I see everything haha and they really look like they've been keeping limber and fit the whole lockdown period) but I suspect the top teams haven't been slacking off on fitness so yeah after a week anyway, with games coming thick and fast, we'll see a return to average.
@toke lols about troncoinz, yeah Werner's transfer won me that sidebet, I knew it was coming but I thought it'd be a lot more difficult, good guys Chelski. Tell you what, I like double or nothing so don't pay me yet, let's do an early sidebet for next season eh? Or put it to next season's pot.

What do you think guys? The good teams are good, and the shit teams are shit. I didn't notice much difference in fitness, other than some players looking cramped up around 70th min or so, but speed wise everyone looked as sharp as regular early season.
Don't agree that score should be changed. Ref decision is final and that's football hallowed ground. Mistakes happen and the ref is usually right. This was a tech failure and a lesson to be learnt. We'll go bonkers if we can change the score after the fact.

The stream I had had a half-second delay or so on reactions, and they overdid it. anyone here mind sharing their Spurs - Man Utd predictions? i'm expecting either a red devils win or a draw, both teams have been so inconsistant this season, but I think manchester have the edge on this one.

. Probably not a good idea for people to give their picks out before the game, unless they lie to throw you off . I think these games are far too difficult to predict right now given they're the first matches back from a big break so anything can happen so it's probably best not to listen to others picks. Just go with your own reasoning. I think there could be a either a lot of bore draws maybe even with goalless games or matches with loads of goals. Too hard to say but we'll find out soon enough. United has a bit more depth overall, but I think Spurs have a more balanced first 11 and do have home advantage - it still counts for something.
Yeah, the empty stadium is a big home advantage for Tottenham.
If I understand correctly, both team can be complete. All players are ready to play, no injuries. Still, I think, United have more chances and seemed more compact. United has been played very well against top teams, also they always play well after the break.
