I’m just watching MUTD - ARS live on TV
They both need the half time reset cause there is no real chances to score a good goal, on both sides...
This can easily finish as a draw from what I can see after the first 39 minutes
Manchester United is playing with good advantage of Yellow cards as until now they have 3 and Arsenal with only 1 just this thing make some interest otherwise its surely going to be a draw without any goal.

Edit: Manchester United leading by 1 goals 45 minutes goal can make some difference.

Leicester are doing really well this season, though this result should be expected from a ten-man Newcastle team. Liverpool are playing Leicester next week and that could be an interesting game. Could they take some points away from Liverpool? At Anfield I'm not so sure but it will be a game to watch.

TBH, I really don't think so. Leicester is a decent team but the table lies a bit. They played well against Tottenham, but were mostly poor against both United and Chelsea (although they got a decent result at the Bridge).
They will lack pace at the back to cope with Liverpool's front 3 and if they play deep, we have got enough quality to create chances both through Firmino and the flanks.

I'm more worried Liverpool will drop points against a technically poor but physically dominant side than against a team like Leicester. Only thing we need to be careful of is their counterattack but I feel that we will do a good job in midfield and control the majority of that game.

That's been my worry for many a season now. I think it was really only until last season that we finally found a way to break down teams that fit your description, and we really have to credit Klopp for that, other than a really awesome Terrible Three and wingbacks that switch around so much we basically just pummel teams into submission.

When we meet the Arsenals and the Spurs, I'm less worried, because they play our game and we play it better. Even City, and Barca last season, when we lost, we played better.

It's exactly the games like last one that I used to dread. Leicester are dangerous on the counter, but I think our back four can deal easily with their 4-1-4-1. What we need is Maddison to be back in the squad, so they keep that formation and don't get tempted to park the you-know-what =p

Yeah I had Arsenal to win too. I just fancy them to steal the points at Old Trafford. United are a mess atm & Ole will get the sack before New Year, surely.

That game was hell yesterday, I didn’t go. I was watching on TV which is worse because I was sober Cheesy
It was so frustrating, we just couldn’t score until Gini’s fluke. Mane should have had two, Salah one. We should have won comfortably, even without playing well.

Good sign that we win when we’re not playing well though. Fergie made a career of winning like that. It’s the sign of Champions.

Yeah and he don't seem too keen on keeping his job either, with the comments been seeing from him lately. What kind of manager says his team are better at shootouts than at playing football except the kind who wants to get fired =p

Yeah it was good you didn't go. I couldn't, even with my bias, say we shoulda won. But very happy we get this kind of blip out of the way, as they say. Because to be fair, playing away at that kind of team and stadium is all kinds of banana peel.

Some high scores in our pool so far this match week. I just about cling on to 1st place at the moment but it’s so close, even between the top 15.

Yeah. A lot of people did very well including me this time. Joint 1st at the moment. I got a point from every game so far which I don't think I've done before. I think Leicester should comfortably win today but the Man United/Arsenal game tomorrow will be tricky. United are too unpredictable at the moment and Arsenal are doing pretty well so I might go for a draw. United should win and I think they might just edge it but that uncertainty and unpredictability is turning me towards the draw.

I went -

Leicester 2-0 Newcastle
Man Utd 1-2 Arsenal

Thanks for arranging this for us again hilarious, really does make this part of the forum fun & worthwhile for me.
I’m really enjoying being a part of it again.

No thanks necessary. It doesn't take much to organise really as superbru luckily does everything we need and I probably enjoy it as much as anyone else. Gives me something to look forward to on the weekend and makes you care about games you would otherwise have no interest in so a lot of entertainment for a measly £25 quid or so.

The United game looks like it's going to be the decider on who comes out top on points from the weekly round. The top five are all in the running if they can get the full 3 points:

LTU_btc 17.5

hilariousandco 16.5

MoSala 16

tokeweed 15.5

bigdaddy 15

LTU has already gone to the top of the leaderboard in weekly round points and with one game to go. Current consolation prize winner leaderboard:

cryptofrka 16.5
hilariousandco 14.5
Sojourner 14.5
Brainboss 14

So remember even if you're unlikely to win a top spot you can always get a consolation prize. It's still to early to count yourself out though as a run of good forum can quickly take you to the top so don't give up.

As expected, it's going well for Leicester so far. Early red card made it easier but Newcastle is a really strong contender for the drop this season. They are horrible, Ashley is killing that club for far too long.

@Pamoldar - Sheff Utd away was an ugly game man, a really ugly game but 3 points is 3 points. City aren’t looking as good are they? They’re conceding lots of chances & they didn’t last season. We’re in a good place but still a long way to go.
Yeah the match watch stressful to watch and in this season this was the match I was watching with stress since we were taking time to score but after the score it was also stressful. Any moment Sheff could score and then we had to share the point losing two valuable points. A win is a win and that 3 point assures that whatever we go through we are aiming for the season title.

Talking about City, they are very good team. They will be looking forward to Liverpool to make mistakes so that they can leverage it. I do not see any team in this season who can really challenge City despite them missing a lot of chance to score. The only team who can challenge is us. And I hope we win in that battle.

@cryptofrka - You know your history & your football. I like it, where are you from?

Croatia. Liverpool through and through though, didn't miss 20 games in the last 10 years. Been a fan for more than 20.
I really like football, yea. Glad I found a place with so many LFC fans here.

But it's really easy to support us now. We'll see who will stay if the dark ages return Grin
What I always loved about LFC, no matter how poor we occasionally were, you just knew we'd nick a trophy here or there. Even Kenny won 1 and lost another final with that horrible Carroll disallowed goal. I was in London then.
Now with Klopp, even after 3 final losses, I was never worried. It just had to come.

I went to Kiev & Madrid, I met fellow forum member micgoossens at the final in Madrid.

Good times Smiley

Let me guess...  You bet the over 2.5 goals + Liverpool to win as a parlay?  Grin  I had the match at 1 - 2 at our pool tbh.  Happy to get 1.5.

No, No  Smiley I got Liverpool in a parlay with Inter, PSG and Rijeka, that's why I was waiting for the final whistle
and my pick on the pool was 0:3 so I got the 1 point for the result only, I was expecting more goals, but, next week new chance to get more points

@LFC nothing like a nervy lucky win to compare with the Foxes' strong game just before our showdown eh? Vardy is really getting a second life in this new look Leicester. But they are good for their 3rd place now. Would be ao delicious to see them even steal second from Citeh.

Can't seem to load superbru so can't see where I'm at but I know I backed the upset. Magpies were never coming back from the sending off.

Now if Arsenal could make my day tomorrow...

Liverpool is so lucky in recent games, it has a smell of champions all over them. Yeah, they missed some sitters today, but they can feel really fortunate to go home with 3 points - Sheffield really played some good football..
I was worried until the final whistle. It was a relief when the referee ended the match.

Man this week I do not even see my name in the point table LOL
Terrible week for me.

I somehow managed 1 points today and so far I have 9 while the top scorer has 17.5. Good thing is that this week everyone has performed well. ranging from 11 to 17.5 is not bad at all.

I hated Rodgers towards the end of his time at LFC. He did well in 2013/14 but that was mostly due to Suarez being in the form of his life, carrying the team.

Agreed. I could not stand him from the moment he joined. You could instantly see he is a talker and not much more.
He gave us 1 great season, yea. But what he did after it was a tragedy.

He cost us Sterling by playing him at wingback, he went with our F team to Bernabeu after we were without CL football for such a long time, he backstabbed his whole staff to get another season and he is the only 3+ years manager of our club without a trophy.

Leicester He can win on Liverpool in the next week. This time I will bet for Leicester.

Our (Liverpool’s) next PL game is at Anfield next weekend against Leicester.

Oh, I can't wait to wipe away Rodgers' smile with a hammering.
Although, it has to be said that their counter-attack is looking really good. But I still feel we will cruise that game.

When Suarez left we fell to pieces & Rodgers had no idea how to fix the mess he had created.

Damn! It's 2 - 0 now, and there are 12 users with that scoreline, I went with 2 - 1 but I doubt that happening with Newcastle playing with 10 men. Hilarious is looking unstoppable this week.

EDIT: It's 3 - 0, better I think  Grin Tomahawk is the only person that went with that.

Now It's 4 - 0  Shocked
