Holy hell, lost in a round in which I still feel I should have won.
Tottenham was disgraceful today against a team from the bottom of the 5th Division and Arsenal could have given me a win or a draw and failed to win by missing a penalty and not scoring with an extra man. It is what it is, at least LMS wasn't such a failure. Crazy performance from vd309 and Saint-loup - they had all the same answers (even in H2H questions) so they collected 8 points each in LMS and drew the game 7-7. Damn it, I think I just lost another round  Crystal Palace scored only one goal against Stockport County and I needed them to score three goals, but Arsenal not winning against Man United was a final blow for me. I watched second half and Arsenal missed penalty and many big chances to score goal and win in regular time. Extra time is not counting in BSFL so that is not important for me. Both result worked out perfectly in my favor and would help increase my net points difference, I really didn't expect Crystal Palace to score many goals, especially if you take a look at their goals per game this season, it's literally nothing to expect too much from. Arsenal vs Man United was more of gut call for me, but why the hell not ? If they can do it against a team like Liverpool, there is nothing from stopping them against Arsenal, I'd agree that missed penalty could swung the momentum in different direction. I need Stockport County to not concede 3 goals and/or not to lose. Easier to not lose when you do not let 3 goals in so I would be hoping for that, and then I will need Arsenal to do me a little favor and win by the smallest margin possible.

Eurolague basketball was perhaps not the smartest decision I think and I usually go against the favorites if it's about three teams as Trofo and cryptofrka frame the questions such that there are three opponent underdogs that are indeed able to beat the apparent favorites. However, Monaco right away losing the first game, well how else could it have been... I guess I was just lucky with the basketball, and on a different day the game between Dortmund and Leverkusen could have ended as draw, but it didn't... I'm happy that I'm no longer in position to lose, the worse result for me now is a draw, I hope it wouldn't come to that though, because I lost in the last round from a supposedly decent leading position. Good luck the rest of the season I think you are good to go now as you have been correct about Nottingham not scoring three goals and that ties the question at best, which means the worst outcome now is a 3-2 for you. The basketball question wasn't my best answer because I usually tend to bet on one team messing it up when they are favorites at home and these games were not like odds 1.10 (home) vs. 7.00(away). It was closer than that and then it' likely one team loses. I checked the odds for a 3-way multibet and if I remember correctly it was around 2.05. I should have gone against it, but then somehow convinced myself of the "yes".  Good for you, bad for me. But you know, now it is slowly but surely time to win my first points in division 1 or otherwise I am going to compete for the worst loser ever seen in BSFL in one season... Thank you, I know your wins will surely come around at some point too, it's not as though you're playing for the first season here, you finished top 5 in the last two season, even though it's a different season and match up are somewhat different, I think the experience over those season should definitely count for something. I usually have my own awful runs during the middle of the season and make up for it in the final weeks, so I'm trying to gain as much ground possible in the early weeks of this season, some fixtures have really just slipped through my fingers too. Pretty sure they allow you to pay at later date only if you promise to pay before the round started if that is what you mean I was busy after last round was finished and I wanted to pay the LMS fee but I completely forgot about it  When I saw what happened it was to late to make any change, so I asked them for rules to be changed in future. Nope, can't allow this. Take this as an example: I understand, but I had to try asking - you are 5th overall, decide not to buy back - a terrible round happens, 3 leaders are eliminated - you buy back a round later in a better position  After your explanation I still think that I would be in worse situation if allowed to rejoin, and I would have less points than others for missing the round. That means my chances for winning LMS would be minimal. We can always work with delayed payment if necessary, usually we just pay to the escrow and wait for guys to repay us. I think he just forget altogether about it. I started with 2 wins in 3 matches this season. I'm proud of my team so far and we are hoping to win this week as well. For now I'm 3-2 ahead against my opponent hakan2217. I'm glad for picking Keys on the tennis question.
Now I'm waiting for the FA Cup matches on the 7th and 8th questions to end. They are going to determine the final result. I hope Crystal Palace score less than 3 goals or Manchester United don't lose against Arsenal. Predicting one of them correctly will be enough for me to get my 3rd win in Round 4. Did I miss anything important guys? I see I won only one point so far in this round, and I was away for most of the week so I didnt follow what was going on in the forum. Nothing much really aside from the fact that I currently have an edge on question #10. I have Pegula to win so yeah if she wins tomorrow then Im getting point from this question. You might wanna start praying that Keys beat her tomorrow. Even bookies have Keys at slightly favourite. A real surprise Brentford have failed to score while playing at home, they are usually impeccable on home ground. What went on in the Atalanta game? Was not expecting a goalless draw by any means. - Jay - I never expected Atalanta vs Udinese to end goalless, I was more concerned if it was going to be Under or Over 3.5, after BTTS, but it really doesn't matter for my duel, and my LMS stay seemed to be complete already.
