2. After selling, seller is looked at as a person who never played BSFL before. he can enter for free in lowest division available at that time and try to climb back trough the ranks.
In my opinion, we should minimize the chance of people wanting to sell their position and there should be some penalties for people doing so.
People should sell their position, if they will be busy in the next season and will be unable to submit their answers in time. People should sell their position, if they are tired of BSFL for any reason and they will no longer want to participate in BSFL.
People shouldn't look at selling their positions as a business and a way to earn money.
This season was my first season in BSFL and I managed to promote to division 2.
If I think I will be busy in the real life and there's a probability that I will not be able to submit my answers in time, I should sell my position so that I won't ruin the competition in the next season.
I shouldn't sell my position, because I want to earn some money. If I do so, there should be some penalties for me.
Here are some suggestions you may want to consider.
1. People selling their position can't join the competition again in the next x seasons.
2. People selling their position can join the BSFL again, but they will not be able to participate in cup and LMS in the next x seasons and they can only play in the league.
3. People selling their position should pay more fee for the next x seasons and if they sell their position again, the extra fee will be applied to the person who buys their position.
4. People should pay x mBTC, if they want to sell their position for the second time.
5. People selling their postition for the second time can never join BSFL again.
