Same old shit, just a different year… My woes in the cup continues, it looked somewhat promising needing Lazio to not lose to win the round, and even after the win for Braga, I still had shot with the penalty shootout, If only Besiktas had also not lost to Twente, it could have been a different story.

Out in the first round, and I feel like I'll lose the sidebet to cryptofrka as well, it started so brightly too, getting 3 from 3 in a row, and then the stars started misaligning with Europa League. On the bright side, Cro2 are also out, so at least I don't have to bet on their ugly asses in the semis LFC_Bitcoin not only beat LMS master hosseinimr93, he thrashed him! His prize? Another very bad round for me, only one point. My opponent has one point more, but I don't think I can still win, but luckily it's a cup round and not a regular week, otherwise it would be another zero round.

Thanks! Looking forward to the next opponent. By the end of round 2, half of the teams will be eliminated. I would like to go one step further here, but I have no expectations from this team of mine.
What gets me is how people can get 5/5 from this round. I did get almost all right but literally you had to pick 1 underdog, 2 favorites, and the harder over/under in Benfica win.

As usual, out of the Cup. 3 correct answers and 3 good penalties weren't enough, so not much that I can say to the team. Opponent was simply better on the day.
The results are in a weird format, it will be only during this week. Too many names to write them all down, so work on your eyes a little bit. Trofo will post a new Cup tree tomorrow.

Man I'm going to be a regular here but in the negative side of the news
Igebotz FC finally won a football game, but it was in the wrong competition; they needed that point in the league instead. I'm not sure whether it's my spreadsheet, but both I and my opponent in the next round get Forest as an answer, and only mine is coloured yellow, which makes me wonder if we now have two Forest. 4/4 correct for me so far in round one which means I’ll move to round two against strongkored (his opponent must not have submitted as he got a pass to round two?).
Nice round so far for you, I’ve only gotten 2/4 but so has my opponent and it’s likely going to come down to Braga vs Lazio as the decider…
ps: Everyone submitted right on time for this round, Strongkored is only getting a bye in the first round because he’s occupied the 1st position in Division 1, while this cup round has an uneven amount of participants.. In previous seasons we usually have a couple more of players in the 1st Division get a bye in the first round.

You mean the H2H results? Milwall won 4 last games out of 5 before yesterday so that was actually one of my deciding point on taking Millwall as well.
I also checked their H2H matches, but I didn't take them into consideration, because they hadn't played against other much in the recent years. Millwall and Portsmouth had only one match against each other in the past 3 years and only 2 matches in the past 12 years. but sometimes the H2H record is kinda like pattern though hence I usually try to follow those pattern unless of course its over 15 years or something lol. Anyway you know this was a championship game so pattern doesnt really matters I guess, It was a close win for Millwall as they literally only had 1 shot on goal. They were terrible but they won somehow

As usual, my cup journey ended very early, I didn't managed to go through 1st round again. Got all 4 yearly questions wrong, while my opponent answered 2 correctly.

Well, really didn't expect City would bring me back in the game. It all depends on the penalties now, with Twente to qualify the only difference between me and Woodie.
The odds on a Twente win are 50-50, the win almost surely brings them over the line. Besiktas probably goes through with a draw, so that works in my favor.
