Pop goes Zverev, and I noticed he's in quite a number of Div2 picks. Both my picks made it through, still a long way to go, but as long as they both end up in the semifinal I will feel all right here, same as Rikafip. I'm confident Sinner can dispose of Alcaraz, less confident he can take the title.

Hah, I was expecting the complete opposite when I went with Djokovic beating Sinner in the final, thinking that he might be pissed off because of how early he got kicked out of AU and maybe winning the tournament. So far he looks good, hopefully he continues like that. Now I just have to hope that Sinner potentially beats Alcaraz in SF or jeremypwr wins that point.

I had to go check and it indeed was a screamer. When I saw Crawley equalized in the dying minutes, I thought they had all but avoided a loss and was only hoping they do not get a second win (or fourth) and somehow win the match. It had to take something from Wimbledon to win the match and boy, did they find it.Have to find a better way to cover mid table teams. All the articles end up about title or relegation battle. Just like in the real life

Waiting for tennis all the while just to end up with probably a wrong pick could be detrimental for my team, Zverev is already a set down and a break down in the second set, while Djokovic just breezed through his game against Safiullin, I was expecting a rusty Novak, while Zverev path seem somewhat fair, now it seems it's going to blow up all in my face.

Initially I thought I'll follow the bookies but Crawley made more sense.

First random pick of the day was Wimbledon FC, and I'm glad it turned out well, I don't know what to think of these kinds of 50/50 games where we literally have 1 in 3 chances of getting it right, hope my luck didn't get used up so early lol

I was neither able to follow the match scores nor the updates from here in this thread, but from what I’ve read here, it was a quite a spontaneous match, I’m glad I was able to back AFC Wimbledon, it’s not as though it gives me any advantage over my opponent, but it shows I’ve started the round on the right path.
Cro2 does always have their way of finding these really interesting matches, especially when they have just the 1X2 as the options, you know it’s bound to not be drama free.

Sometimes knowing too much in certain sports is what hurts you the most when you make certain picks especially when it’s case of history vs supposed reality.
I think the same, I was better in the first round or 2 when leagues were yet to start and questions were mostly about non-football sports, which are not my forte. I thought I will get better when football questions roll around, but I got worse and struggled to get even one win after then.That was my approach last season when I got promoted for Season 2 so either there something to it or it was just a beginner's luck. This season I tried everything, from going solely with my gut feeling to throughly checking everything, and you can see the result if you check the table.
I am in your shoes this season. I do not have any strategy as nothing seems to be working, already out of LMS and knocked out of the cup too. My league position is not any better either.- Jay -

Yeah, that late goal by Wimbledon costed me a point. Ralle14 had Crawley to win and I had a draw. Too bad, it would be nice to start a round with a point ahead after a defeat in the last round.
