My club selling price is 5 mbtc, but I need to speak about different terms.
If you are selling I want to buy it for 5 mbtc right away. It sounds nice to invest in BSFL with the money came from fantasy last year.
I would sell for this price yes but I wanted 50% of any profits for first 3 years:P It's the cheapest pricetag among everybody, but that is also my extra term I want.
Anyway thou that for Season 6 now as I read all the responses. But it seems everyone agrees so lets see again next season @Spack17

Ok guys, this is it. Sign ups for season 5 are closed. Anyone else that signs up from now on will be playing with us from Season 6 and will be placed in Division 4.
I will be making leagues and random draw of Divison 3 during the day and then it will be public.

Will this have restrictions like only selling a spot to users of the same division or will this be open to all? By the way once a place is sold to a player on the log does that mean the league will run with a man down throughout??

No restrictions, we want to make it easy for all members that want to buy their way up be able to do so.
Stuck in Div 3 for a while? Pay and up you go. Wanna join but don't want to go to Div4? Sure, you can do that too.
The league wouldn't have a guy less, the highest placed one from the league below that didn't earn promotion would be promoted.
Trading places is something we have to thoroughly discuss, we will do that if the poll says yes - which seems likely.

I think that selling spots is going to increase the interest in lower leagues as well. For example if I sell my team next season I'm going to try to be competitive when I start from the lowest league as well. In this way I think that the quality in lower leagues will also increase. If we look at the comments on the thread, I guess the majority is leaning towards this idea quite much. 
It will drive competition to its peak imo, and I don't imagine some paying 30-50 mBTC failing to make a submission, I understand there are always unforeseen circumstances in play, but it is going to reduce a lot where there is lot at stake and then like some mentioned it is going to make a BSFL team rather more like an asset and would drive more value across to the entire league or even forum imo.

Nothing was mentioned about the position prize - if I swap a team with you and finish in a good position who takes the prize money? The original club owner or the rentee ? This could be very interesting addition and I'm honestly looking forward to it. Looks like we're going to have a lot of modifications and New Rules in season 6.
It is not renting it is buying. You buy or sell the club and that is it. New owner pays all the fees and collects all rewards. Club isn't yours anymore.But we are not actually selling clubs, we are selling league positions since clubs are same as our usernames.
The Cro2 team can actually do the change of team name after purchase? This way the seller can restart again from Div 4. Rinse and repeat.

Well things like this would be pretty cool actually but I think this could only be done if you know the other owner personally otherwise it would be quite a hassle especially when determining which one of you would answer the questions for the round
I have to think more about this but we can use trusted escrow to lock funds until release date, so I am not afraid on anyone scamming me.If anyone is willing to pay the money than they are putting their reputation on the line, and I am not doing any business with newbies.
Another interesting idea is for someone to own more than one club
You can make all kinds of individual deals, just be careful that there is nothing we can do if things go south. This would be too much work for us but if you trust the guy on the other side of the deal - sure, no problem for us.

About the divisions, for me the div 4 needs to be set up asap.
Although I do agree it would be better to have it immediately, it would not be totally fair to some people we would have to relegate to Div4 in this season.
We feel it's better to have one transitional season before we start with the new rules.
I understand that you see it as a sort of amateur league, but the f2p model and minimal reward system will probably lead to people taking the competition too lightly, missing submission deadlines, and eventually getting kicked out and this will ultimately create more work for you. Then again, I am sure that you are aware of that.
Yeah, it's like that in every game/competition though. No real way to tackle it for people that don't have a long-term outlook.
We're thinking about the club selling as a good way to maybe keep them interested. Imagine that you are in Div3 and you get kicked out - would you pay 1mBTC for a Div3 club? Well, maybe - so hopefully some guys will farm for that. There is also LMS and the Cup, not much more we can do with the reward pool that we have, which is quite significant for a 3-4 month competition when you take it all into account.
As always, we'll track what happens down there. But even if Division 4 gets dismantled, we'll still have 3 full paid leagues with 56 players - so we're almost there with what we planned when we started BSFL.
It would be cool to sell shares and percentage of club ownership, so we can share profits together if I own 51% of club I receive 51% of reward and other owner receives 49% reward.
You can make all kinds of individual deals, just be careful that there is nothing we can do if things go south. This would be too much work for us but if you trust the guy on the other side of the deal - sure, no problem for us.

Regarding the swaps - we need to see how it would work. As Trofo said, let's see the votes first and then we have a full season to make the best possible method of selling/renting/swapping clubs.

Happy to consider fixed term club swaps. As in, swap clubs for a fee but only for one, or two seasons. So if it's a one season deal, you get my spot in Div1, I get your spot in whichever Div you're in. At the end of the season, we swap back our clubs. If CRO2 allows that kind of deal of course heh.

Vote will be part of question form.I don't see a problem with what you wrote if you trust the person. But we will probably not take care of those details. And both clubs will have higher league fees.
