They said careful what you wish for, I thought I was super ready for this season 5 to get started, but it turns that I'm not even 50% close to being ready, this might be an easy win for my opponent because my players are yet to get back from the summer break (I mean I can't even make any proper research), It's quite overwhelming for me right now, to be very honest... I'm going to pretty really on guts and hope my guts would better than me making an informative decisions/guesses.

I'm so ready to submit mine, but I need to hold on until later today because there are still one or two matches that'll help me decide between a few teams and maybe that could give me the edge in winning this round. 
I made my predictions however I have a question. I couldn't see my team in the fixture. Don't I have a match or is there a mistake in the fixture?

Yeah, always check if your submission went through. Sometimes Google asks for confirmation, if you don't accept it doesn't send the answers.
You can check it in 2 ways - open the questions again (if you can't answer anymore it is ok, if you can you did not submit), or by checking the spreadsheet that is linked in the 3rd post of the thread.

I barely just viewed the questions and the first question which came as a pool meant we was just being given the milk before the straw which would come eventually but, with lots of activities going on, we would be good eventually and I hope to see everyone get their heads in the game, it’s game time people.

The BSFL fam seem to love the tennis, but I feel this does the most damage here too, just wish other sport disciplines can be incorporated such as athletics especially that the Olympics are going on 
It's really hard, a lot of sports have qualifiers and the questions can be settled way before the deadline.
We can do some things like the swimming one, and next week it will be easier to maybe incorporate some fringe sports. We'll give our best

All the posts about competition will be updated these days. We are waiting for some stuff to be finalized and our excel needs some tweaks to cover new season. First week is always a bit hectic while we get all users correct and stuff like that.

It happened to me once and I swear I pressed the "submit" button and it almost made me missed the round. Now I am playing it extra safe and after submitting I always check the spreadsheet.

I think that I missed one round because of it in the last season or the season before. I clicked Submit, but didn't check the spreadsheet and I lost the round and got a negative point. After that I always check the spreadsheet to see if my answers are in.
Btw, I'm pretty quiet because I'm on a vacation. I'm coaching my team from the sea. We will see how it will go. Probably not that good

The last one is especially tricky and is the reason why I will delay answering as long as possible. From the 2nd round you'll have the schedule with the questions, so everything will be easier.
