Regarding selling the spots, I really dislike the idea. I know it adds some complexity, but for some reason it just feels wrong. I hope more people share a similar opinion so it doesn't get introduced.
Yeah, I know the feeling. We discussed it a lot, can see the good and the bad in both choices and that's why we will let the community decide. It can be better for the longevity of the competition and it will probably increase the banter even further - imagine you buy a Div1 club and get relegated.
It will be fun to track though, it is crypto after all so consider your club as your unique NFT - I'm curious to see how valuable people think these are. The downside might be that someone loses interest after selling the club, but then the person buying it has increased interest as well.
We'll choose whatever you guys decide to do, but remember that if we feel that the call we made is wrong for the competition we can always revoke it (with proper prior announcements of course).
The coming season and the one after are going to be very exciting, with newcomers, new rules and new divisions. But what about late/missing submission rules and penalties? They will remain the same as the ones of the 4th season, or we'll need to wait a bit more to discover the new ones?
They will be the same as this season - we will just make an added rule regarding the end of season freebet rewards - but it is a minor tweak.
With LMS running in parallel with BSFL, it makes it even more expensive to forget your submissions.
All those that have 2 points per round or less will be eliminated, if everybody has 3 or more points, those with the next worst result will be eliminated (those with 3 points, or 4 if nobody has 3 etc).
This part is kinda confusing so basically if everybody has 3 points then the next round lowest gap to survive will be changed into 3 points instead of 2 points?
Nope, in that round those with 3 will be eliminated and in the next round it goes back to 2 (or next lowest) again.
