The prizes are great and thanks to the Sportsbet guys for sponsoring this great competition. I'm not sure how many players there are in the pools, but I have no idea why someone would compete in a pool and not here. Like someone said, you just have to have a little luck and you at least get your money back. And as a bonus it's so much more fun competing here than in a pool.

I didn't become winner in any pools, but sometimes I get into prize spots or get my ROI through freebets from Yellow Caps. But every season we have at least few players who give up in the middle of season and stop playing. While in BSFL you have something to play for until last rounds.
We both have one different answer on today's CL. Fortunately for me Atletico managed to equalise score quickly and I need them to win game. Wouldn't be against watching another extra time and penalties today, it doesn't happens often in today's CL.

You shouldn't be here, I would say I've won quite a bit of every League Pool at some point and your generous donation has never gone unnoticed but however you always manage to scoop some Yellow cap victories often in a very very unique way, because in those specific weeks nobody comes close

I've participated in the premier league pools and similar and never won, so I'm very glad to be here where there's a fair chance for everyone to pocket some BTC, sort of works like a piggy bank too where the $ value only increases 

Yeah, as Trofo said, in H2H competitions it's important to keep players active.
When there's a few mBTC's to play for for every person until the last round, the competitiveness remains.

The problem is of course Division 3 as you saw yourself - the rewards are low so people don't care much. Therefore we have big playoffs so that the driver is that you play until the end for your promotion chance.

The bad thing is that you don't have these '50 mBTC' huge rewards for the winner.
To battle that, we do have something new we plan to add in BSFL's Season 5. It's a side competition for pure degen gamblers, we will introduce it during the Euros. The winner of that one will walk away with a bigger prize than BSFL champion.

Yeah we are keeping it that way so every single player has something to play for until last round. It isn't the same no matter where you finish. There is also an obvious negative side to it that our champion does not get a cut as big as in other pools but we feel it is more than offset by the community rivalry and shorter season length. We have much better dynamic with promotions/relegations every 4 months than what we would have with year long competition. And that way everyone has something to prove all the time.

For instance in usual pools if you are bottom of the pile after half of the season, only yellow cap is left to play for and it is basically a wait until next September for the real competition rush again.

That's a pretty sweet prize pool! You basically have to be top14 for Div1 and top12 for Div2 to get your money back, can't beat that in any league around here

Percentage-wise, Division 2 rewards have increased a bit compared to Division 1 in Season 4, that is because Division 2 charges a fee as well.

Total rewards are over 10.000$ (according to current BTC price), and there is an extra 2.160$ to be won in freebets.

There is an additional 16 mBTC left for the Cup.

The rewards for the Cup will be:

1st place - 8 mBTC
2nd place - 4 mBTC
3rd place - 2 mBTC + 50$ freebet
4th place - 2 mBTC
5th - 8th place - 50$ freebet

So, in total 154 mBTC and 2.410$ in freebets.

This time it was a perfect case to let it stand. If tournament was played right before the deadline maybe third of the league would be in significant disadvantage to to their time zone. If it was stand alone question and not 1/5 points in it - it would have much higher impact. There are many things to consider and we try to post full proof questions but that is almost impossible for sports like tennis, snooker, DOTA....

It's my fault that I had to use VAR but I actually thought that 1 VAR could be used for all the questions that's why I used it for 2 questions 😁 But everything is good! I expect from my team that this will not happen again 😁

I know that we will have situations like this again. But This time it was done correctly that djokovic was not made "Void" because he is out of tournaments before the deadline. I hope it continues like this, that's why we have VAR 😁

The funny thing, looking back on my picks every round, I always ask myself: "What was I thinking?". Clearly, not very much. Only Swiatek got the Yes from me, while you went the complete opposite. I am comforted that you picked 2 guys on the same side of the draw, so if Sabalenka doesn't make it, I can breathe easy(ier), worst I can do is a draw.

Sinner extended his winnings into this season to two and half months, and doesn't look as he is going to end it soon

Yup, the general idea was to give you the chance to balance - in case you want to hunt freebets and submit early, there's always VAR that you can use. But use that strategy too much and you might be without one when you need it the most.

I'm in the lead but still a lot of different answers left. I need this win - Division 2 is so beneath me.

Damn it! I just realized that I probably just lost my round against notblox1. He is already one point up due to Lewandowski scoring one goal. When I was checking the draw I was sure that Acaraz and Sinner were in different parts of the draw, but after seeing your post and double-checking it looks like I have lost that point. The only thing that can save me is if Sinner ends up in the final. notblox1 has him not to qualify and I have him to qualify. That and the fifth answer are only different answers that we have left.

Ah that is good to know as that does change a few things in terms of submission strategy I guess and the season is still quite long. At some point one might literally be forced to wait and forgo the chance to win free bets due to early submission.

The Arsenal question was well phrased @Trofo and @cryptofrka. All the twists you put into that question made it a really tough one and only two guys got it right. But I didn't think that Porto would be able to put up such a fight in the Arsenal stadium. I hate to say it because I hate Pepe as a player as he prefers to destroy football games rather than play beautiful football, but the way he worked for Porto's defense yesterday was quite impressive considering he just turned 41. That was a smart game by him.

4 guys from division 1 go with an Atletico win tonight, interesting. It is not an easy call despite Inter's outstanding shape. A draw is quite risky as in that case Atletico would open up their defense and may concede a counter attack goal, but I couldn't convince myself of a clear winner after 90 minutes. Just for fun: my assumption is that Atletico takes the lead, Inter strikes back and the game ends 1-1. Let's see whether my crystal ball was correct!
