Most of the players submitted this time, but we lost another one today - Coin_trader from Div 3A has his 3rd negative point and is leaving the competition.
Trofo will update the tables/results in the next days, probably on Sunday together with this round's results.
Another one bites the dust! Sad
I dont know how many players we have left in Division 3 but if someone cant do simple thing once a week than they should never join BSFL.
It seems that some people dont like free bets and rewards  Grin

The thing is my notification bot is already not giving me any notification for unknown reason while I have my personal struggle with my lately due to too much screen time. I’m also planning to voluntarily drop on the current tournament due to my schedule eye surgery on coming weeks.

Not that I hate free money but rather I really can’t keep up anymore due to my limited screen time for my eyes.  Wink

Thank you @Trofo and @Cryptofrka for letting me in on the tournament. Cheers

If I win the match against PedroCunhaYori next week maybe I can even have a chance to promote directly.

Pedro just got default win against Rikaflip as well so that means both of you are still 7 points apart so even if you win against him next week then it might still take a while to get promoted directly. You gotta hope that Imarios would start dropping some points because only top 1 gets promoted directly

Damn I cant believe Aston Villa could hold City but look at them now with 10 minutes to go before claiming that 3 points against City. Meanwhile Super Scott with his 2nd goal against Chelsea which put Manchester United on the lead !

Oh damn you Fernardes, why couldn't you score this penalty? Let's make this the first point for my team to be able to beat the unbeatable casperBGD!

you secured a point for Stuttgart
United and Chelsea are still playing, so that could be a win for you, if United scores, considering we have one more different answer

bet on Dortmund failed, they fooled me with solid performance (although just on score) against Leverkusen, and Milan particularly, so thought win over Stuttgart will be a game-changer for their season, no, it is not Smiley

Just as I was typing my answer, Manchester scored! Now I hope they can keep the advantage.

I didn't even know that Stuttgart vs Dortmund game is tonight because I was so concentrated on Man Untited game.

This week is going to be a comfortable week for me as I have won by default. As of this win I started to believe in promoting to Division 2 seriously. I don't think I can win free bet with my answers this week. Because of this I have focused on the match that is going to be played next week. If I win the match against PedroCunhaYori next week maybe I can even have a chance to promote directly.

Would a Barcelona win by 4 points be considered a big win?

Well thats enough to secure a point on option over 9.5 points differences combined because Real Madrid had 6 points differences. 1st quarter has already ended with Barcelona ahead of 6 points and its looking slimmer for us that picked either one or both team lose

Arsenal won but only a few of us took 1 goal advantage. Seriously, it could have gone to draw 99% of rewinds. Was Arsenal really that bad or Luton really that good?

Luton was pretty decent in home game. So far their record on home game when they lose was only with 1 score differences, they managed to do so against Tottenham and they also had a draw against Liverpool so thats pretty much tell us they are good on home. I cant wait on their next home game against City, this would be fun if Pep decided to throw in some of his main player in the lineup considering that they have UCL fixture as well

Yea I know, but since I am not too well informed in European basketball, I was wondering whether Barcelona is so far ahead pre-game. I checked the scores a short while ago and saw that they had a 12 points halftime lead and now Virtus Bologna is ahead, but it is close. Now the pros here probably know what to do when they would place a bet. I would probably go with the outsider if I were to bet Smiley But we'll see, it would be an unexpected but nice point in the BSFL if Barcelona loses. But still 2:30 to go.

^ Damned basketball. Need Barca (Barcelona?) to win big tonight just to ensure I draw level on points with jeremypwr -- my usual slow/terrible/poor start to the round. Funny enough, we only have Q9 and Q10 different so it will be Sunday when we know who gets all the points. At least this means I'm able to watch midweek football without a care other than money on bets.

Would a Barcelona win by 4 points be considered a big win? I bet on one or both teams losing so I guess my chances to still win this point against LTU_btc are pretty slim.

There is a number of highly interesting events in this round of questions. Stuttgart - Dortmund is super exciting. Manchester United - Chelsea is also very exciting as this could be the beginning of the end for Ten Hag.

It's really nice that we can still forward to the Cup, that gives some extra spice to the upcoming weeks!

cryptofrka you really think Barca, assuming does their basketball team also refer as Barca, wins easily? I picked both wins, big points, because it made sense as heavy favorites.

They weren't heavy favorites - I think Real was at 1.80 odds while Barca is at like 1.65 or so.
I think they win today, yeah. Real was the tricky one for me, although I think they are a better team than Barcelona.

Barcelona is on a 3-2 score away from home and Virtus has been really good this season. Not really sure why I feel Barca's winning easily, statistically it's a 50-50 game.

And you saying Dv3 players have a Good chance of qualification  Roll Eyes I don't think so!

If you aren't the winner of the division here, then chances of promotion drop instantly especially that we have to battle it out in the cup-style playoff which looks like some competitive users will be featuring  and not forgetting the last battle with the Dv2 player Tongue

Is it just me or it was much easier to be promoted in the earlier editions of the competition???

You're almost surely in the playoffs if you're in 3B - that's what I meant.
It was easier to be promoted before, yes - we were expanding the leagues and from this season we're not doing it anymore.

Season 3 - CURRENTLY RUNNING
...
  • 4 players will be promoted from Division 3 to Division 2. Division 3A winner and Division 3B winner will be promoted directly, and players placed on positions 2, 3, 4 and 5 from both Division 3’s will enter a cup-style playoff format.
  • Out of these 8 players, only 1 will secure direct promotion. The loser of the final game of this promotion bracket will have 1 more chance though – he’ll play the 13th team from Division 2 for a spot in Division 2 next season.

We're glad to hear you're having fun, your Division is a bit weird this season but offers a good chance of qualification to the higher one.
Totally agree, our division this season is weird probably because of the poor attendance of players...

NBA question is settled, Lakers advances to the In season tournament semifinals in Vegas, while both LeBron James and Kevin Durant scored 31 points each, but Durant played a couple of minutes fewer than Lebron, and that brings the correct answer of the question to; Lakers win, and Durant outscores LeBron.

I'm still yet to score any point from this round  Huh

Oh yeah that's the first point for me although I lost some mBTC on that game, I picked Phoenix Suns to win and they were leading in the 4th quarter until the unexpected happened.

Durant played only 38mins :37 secs & scored 37

James played 40mins : 10 secs & scored 37

I was ready to sacrifice my BSFL point for my Phoenix Suns win ticket  Grin

OK with choosing Stuttgart to win, but I'm not that certain that Man United can win. I just checked the H2H history of the teams and now I see why you went with a draw. Except for the last game in May, every game ended up with a draw since 2020! Pretty wild when you think of it.

Chelsea seems to like to draw Man U and Liverpool, IIRC same period is almost always draws.

United lowest scoring team, lowest chances created in top 10 teams. It's very hard to choose them.

@slackovic

just checked answers, and if I am not wrong, we differ on three questions, United vs draw, Stuttgart vs Dortmund and Everton vs Chelsea

hope for an interesting round, it seems that basketball questions will not matter, and my pick Dortmund can back-fire on me

let's have a good round, nothing to change tonight

Yes, you are right. We have only three answers different so it will be a close game. By "close" I mean you won't beat me 7-1 like cryptofrka did in the last round Grin I'm pretty OK with choosing Stuttgart to win, but I'm not that certain that Man United can win. Arsenal with that last minute victory from Declan Rice, who's fastly becoming the difference maker for the team when they deeply need to get a miracle, not many people would have score this coming, as just a very few of the answers were for Arsenal to win by a goal margin, and I'm very sure if the question were about how many goals Luton would score, none of the answers would have been 3 goals+
That goal at the end was clutch from Arsenal, and Luton almost convinced me they got the draw in the bag. The total goals were also surprising, as I thought it'd be a classic 1-2 at best.

At least my Euroleague prediction is already halfway from hitting thanks to Real Madrid's six-point win, and I only need Barcelona to win by four to get an early lead.  Wink

The result had no impact on my match up, neither will the Euroleague basketball result do even though I have both Barcelona and Real Madrid to win and cover the 9.5, but so does my opponent to.

In this order of revelations (or justifications) I have noticed that my local boardmate is also plunged into darkness... Smiley Hey, you were serious about resuming the local derby... you are doing your part...

Hahaha it was not how i thinking to have again the derby.... but not problem man, all this is a staging made by me to not make you feel lonely in that cave called div 2.

Talking seriously i need to score points pretty fast, or the pressure can go high in the team.
