@chi20 : only 4 different answers between us and the first one is going to be settled today. Getting 1 point is very crucial in this waterpolo game. Now that I check my question again. I feel really stupid to pick all 5 on the 10th question. Its not really possible because women tennis tend to be very volatile so picking half of that would seems to be a better answer after all
Damn men.. been really busy lately.  And I hate to have a similar much answers,  tennis are never my thing,  though matter how much I do research on it, I still fail them.

Damn that AFCON games. I have no idea about nations that are playing the tournament so I went with Ivory Coast to win just like my opponent mv1986. I wouldn't count that as a problem if it weren't for the fact that we have only two different answers. It was a 50-50 choice for me (I don't like going for a draw in games I know nothing about) and I chose wrong Sad
Must you watvhing sime games for more knowing, or just take look in the Result, nut like advice,  for 40% games, cpick  tie

have to hope that Japan will be in scoring mood (actually they scored 5+ goals in all last five matches, and 4+ in 9 of last 10 games, what a statistics better than PSV in domestic championship), but not sure how that is going to turn out
...

Yeah, saw that, but these teams are really bad.
~snip

not sure what a really bad team is, but those include Germany, Turkey and Peru Smiley in last ten matches
nevertheless, those were not a competition level, but Iraq is no a great team either

can't watch it, have to work, so will just turn on notifications, if doesn't blink too often, I am toasted

Yeah, saw that, but these teams are really bad. On the other hand, Iraq has conceded 4 goals only once in their last 5 years, in a friendly game against Mexico.
Statistically (and odds-wise), I feel this is on my side. Then again, considering how tennis is developing, I hope for a calm goalless game here - and then I've drawn already, with a good chance of a win.

Shame it's played soon and I don't have any money on any betting account, I'd hedge it - Japan over 3,5 is @3.50 odds.

I just hope all 3 will be ready to play and won't withdraw, if they play my chances of winning this are really big.

The only different answer is Japan's goals - so I hope they won't be in scoring mood today.

yeah, after Fiorentina failed me (but them as well), situation turned to your side completely

Sabalenka and Gauff didn't let points to their opponent, games were out from equation, and those are some top50 players there

Yep, really easy wins for Sabalenka and Gauff. Tomorrow Swiatek is playing against Noskova, should be an easy win as well.
On Sunday Gauff is playing Frech which should not come in any doubt, and Sabalenka is playing Anisimova - and is a huge favorite as well.

I just hope all 3 will be ready to play and won't withdraw, if they play my chances of winning this are really big.

Ok, why the hell does in a star-studded Nigerian team full of attacking potential a central defender from PAOK take the penalty?
This is the second penalty the guy has taken in his career, the first one was 2 years ago against Ghana.

We used to do that in college, just play random goalkeepers or PK takers but that was stupid, as if any of our opponents actually studied our moves. So Nigeria win, but man, what a dick move indeed.

? Coco, Iga or Sabalenka, I'd vote Sabalenka  Cheesy

Well Sabalenka just won perfect, straight set didn't concede single point. Another thing I don't think I've seen in a long long time or maybe its just because I don't pay attention to games so early?

Even Cori Gauff only conceded 2 points, I guess these remaining girls are really serious, or their opponents way too bad.

Rybakina is out!

Well predicted that this shit would happen but my stupid brain picked all 5 to qualify what a dumb nut to begin with. If I could goes back to the past then 2 or 3 would be the best answers for this but oh well Im happy because both me and my opponent wont get any point from question #10 so we are down to the last 2 different question and he is up 1 point currently.

Hows the update in man tennis though?

In women Tennis, I prefer to go with the larger success area, lol, they're so unpredictable tbh, Men Tennis is so far so good, even though it's not been a walk in the park for most of them, they all are still in, we could however see a few of them drop before Sunday, though, I probably could careless with how this turn out, I have the same answers as my opponent.

Thanks to Nigeria and Napoli I now have a two point advantage and just two questions differentials from opponent in the last five, while one of the question is the of a finest margin, he's got 3 WTA players to make it to next week while I have 0-2, he's got the edge here I'd say, but then the worse that could happen to me for this round is a draw.

Slava Ukraini!
We were close from one of man's top 5 seeds getting eliminated. Medvedev was 2 balls away from a loss vs Ruusuvori, but then he survived in 4th set and made a bagel in 5th set.
Fun fact that game ended 4:40 AM night local time, what is ridiculous. But nothing strange when they start games so late, this one started somewhere 11 PM local.

Hahah, only women's tennis can have such bizarre turns and changes and have them so often and in succession.
I did not think that Rybakina will struggle so much today, this tiebreak was insane. For those not following, she lost 22-20.

I thought Pegula would be eliminated, and 1 out of the remaining 4 is a good assumption based on the fact that it's women's tennis Grin

Now all of the remaining ones just have to go through, which will probably be 50-50. Happy it's gone this way, casperBGD's already wrong here.
Yeah, I also expected that Pegula will go out first. But Rybakina and, damn no. Even Swiatek had so much difficulties.
That longest tie break in women's Grand Slam, I remember watching previous longest one in last year Wimbledon between Tsurenko - Bogdan which ended 20:18 and lasted 35 minutes, I thought that record won't be beaten for long. I was wrong.

Did you watch Medvedev last match result?
He almost lost from Ruusuvuori and there was a lot of changes until the end.
Damn Medvedev needs to lose next match and give me point in BSFL  Grin

This is not looking good for me after Napoli won against Fiorentina, now I need miracle to win or not lose BSFL round 12.
Well done hakan2217 for great performance so far.

This is the second penalty the guy has taken in his career, the first one was 2 years ago against Ghana.

I mean, the guy scored, but it's such a bizarre choice. It's not the first time the defender takes them, but apparently this guy usually doesn't take them.

I really expected that game to end in a draw - that was a tolerable result for both sides. Napoli is close to giving me a hugely important point though.

Fiorentina had a questionable choice for PK taker too, SMH good luck on your potential green bro. Grin

What he meant is that the odds on 0-2 to be the correct answer are now the best.
Yeah, I didn't quite understand what buwaytress meant to say. He scored me for a bit but Inhave checked and I saw that all three are still in the tournament. I didn't check who they are scheduled to play against, but I hope they will qualify for the second week.

Sorry for the confusion. That's exactly what I meant. I am ignoring that odds for the three to progress, if placed as an acca (Coco, Iga, Aryna) are 1.10. They are huge, huge favourites in their respective matches. But so were Pegula and Rybakina. It's WTA, I feel good.

LTU_btc tearing it up with 3/3 and Nigeria. Super Eagles win, Harko's happy!

Wait, so three players in women tennis lost their games? I'm not following because I don't have time but that would suck for me. It would mean that I lost this round by one point.

2 lost so far (Rybakina and Pegula). What he meant is that the odds on 0-2 to be the correct answer are now the best.

I'd say that the chances are still 50-50, the ones that were doubtful to progress have been eliminated. I trust that Swiatek, Sabalenka and Gauff all make it to W2.

Who even are Blinkova and Burel? No idea, but they've done us all who went 0-2 a favour by making us now the odds on favourite to get the tie. /snip

Who even are Blinkova and Burel? No idea, but they've done us all who went 0-2 a favour by making us now the odds on favourite to get the tie. Doesn't matter for me, but more interestingly, Medvedev barely made it out. Easy last set but he really clawed his way back from 2 sets down...

He's the only one I picked to get out early, I thought I was pretty smart with that but it turns out that's the most popular answer in BSFL (only Medvedev No). In fact, the first six submissions all have the same on that. Even Cro2 have that same one. Are we really so much on the same page with this guy? Edit: Saw the wrong column. Heh. I actually have Sinner and Rublev out as well.

On Dakar, Loeb won't win. So Sainz has an easy last day, it's now his to lose. I really lost a point here, thought I'd picked him to win but must have been in two minds.

What the actual, Ige?
Kidding aside - I'm pained.

We're all pained. We'll not let you forget this so soon. You join the Hall of Shame with CLS63 -- who managed to gift me 3 points yet somehow found a way to meet Steve at the airport, wait for him to shower, then take him for beer, while Clubhouse airs. We know where your priorities are...

yeah, Rybakina out, my choice is wrong, you are still good
in the end, I wasn't sure what to hope for, win or lose, since there are three more players to get through
but 20:22 and looking at points, I remembered why I don't watch women tennis that much

nevertheless, good amount of competition today, with Viola and Ivory Coast, so tennis can wait for a bit

Dont worry mate , you have chance to win
