After a stroke of bad luck in the first round with zero points (excluding the free points), maybe my luck will improve heading into this week's second round.

I'd always go the safe way - a draw on handicap 0:1. The odds are 3.60, it would be good enough for me.
This was actually a good suggestion and I should revoke my idea of having higher expected value when I go with he results 1-0 (odds ~7.5) and 2-1 (odds ~9.
in that case. If I spent $5 on each of the outcomes, I would spend $10 in total while in return getting $49 back at max with the risk to lose it all in more unlikely events like a 3-2. But when I put $10 on handicap 0:1, I got the hedge I wanted, would match the return from the bet on the 1-0 result and also would have covered all other -1 results. Good point and I made a little hedge bet, but I guess it was the red card that made me win the round but lose the bet.

For some strange reason I thought I was still reliant on Milan tonight but completely forgot yesterday I knew Bellingham scoring or not would decide my fate already. GG LTU_btc... scores do not reflect how close the round was but I'm happy with my three points.
Milan with 10 Ken and pulling out Pulisic does not look good for me anyway so I am happy.
Don't think we've ever had questions so early either bit given the first round fiasco, I think this extra time will be most welcome.

This might be it for AC Milan, Locatelli have just put Juventus ahead with a great stunner, although influenced by an heavy deflection. I really don't how AC Milan would respond to being one man down and now trailing by a goal, but to be fair before conceding the goal AC Milan seemed pretty much like the team with advantage and were on the front foot, it's left to be seen if this goal will be enough to break their strong will.

The new round is another interesting one at that, especially with the fact the questions are mixed heavily across several sporting events, I haven't checked who my opponent is yet, I'd rather have my first answers draft saved so that who my opponent is doesn't influence how I think about the answers.

The grading for the 1st round of the new season will be done tomorrow. We have the Dota question that won’t be completed, and it will be important in some duels and in freebets calculations.
Considering that the freebets are usually paid out on Mondays, the winners of this round will potentially have to wait for a week for them to be credited.
With that being said, the questions for the 2nd round are here!
The deadline is the usual one, Tuesday October 24th, 17:00 GMT.
We finally have some European basketball, and we have another round of computer games again. There’s also some rugby thrown into the mix.
We urge everybody to submit their answers on time – after having almost flawless experience in the first 2 seasons, in the 1st round of the biggest season with the biggest rewards so far we’ve had 13 players that did not submit.
If you want BSFL to keep going, stuff like this should not happen again. Be sure that SB is following closely what we are doing and how interested you guys are in playing.

I am not yet sure whether I will, but I thought going with two bets on the results 1-0 (odds ~7.5) and 2-1 (odds ~9. would actually make the most sense. I can't imagine that the game ends 3-2 or even 4-3. If you were me, how would you hedge? 
There is the risk that some weird result knocks me out, but in the most likely events betting on these two outcomes probably gives me a higher expected value.

Harkored, I guess it's a done deal and you won because you saw the potential in Shelton, good job on you, and now I as the promoted team lost my very first match, so my comeback is over

I’m glad I didn’t second guess my Shelton intuition, I really was convinced he would go far and didn’t want to be so clichè with my response because I was anticipating Fritz - Ruud consensus.
Sleeping on Shelton have caused me a round in the past, so I learnt from my mistakes, I’ve seen him play incredible tennis lately, and deservingly got his first ATP title, which I’m also very sure will not be his last, although there is still much room for improvement needed from him.

Not sure why I chose Shopify Rebellion to lose who were actually favs.
It’s understandable since Shopify Rebellion beat TSM a lot of times on different tournaments while they are also the bookmaker favorite. Even I choose them to be a winner for yesterday match even though that I know that they are a real choker due to their picks and pos1 since they have Abed which is so good midlaner.
If you only rely on Bookmaker odds then probably you will choose TSM to lose that game since bookmaker place an odds that is more in favor to Shopify to win. It’s a bookmaker error for me.
But then again have absolutely no clue about Dota (but watched the Dota anime on Netflix) and was maybe throwing darts.
This is a nice series btw.

So if I understand the new freebet tie-breaker rule, the person who submitted the right answer to the DOTA question will get the point for the freebet reward?
There are a few criterias.
First, the whole Division goes H2H against each other, best pick wins a point.
If it's a tie, then it goes 2-ways.
If nobody who's tied got a point for Dota, we evaluate Dota for H2H.
If somebody already has the best result there and has won a point, we skip Dota - it would not be fair to evaluate it twice, because without that point that player would not even be challenging for the freebet.

Oh shit, I see now that I again calculated wrong about the DOTA question. Trofo you really confused me with the question who will leave the tournament. I'm actually in the lead 3-2 and I just need Milan to win with any difference because leea-1334 has Juventus not to lose.

Ahaaaa I think I beat Trofo already after Tsm eliminated Shopify. We got only 1 diffrent answer left and I am 3-1 up . 
Start of the week I thougth ' Oh nooo so many people gets free 3 0 wins in first week and how unlucky I am playing against final boss Trofo '. And this week was pretty hard imo, but now I feel great. Can't wait to play next round already

You had the easiest draw in this round, therefore you have nothing to be proud of. This season, Trofo has the league's weakest attack and defence. I played him few weeks ago and I know what I saw.
Shopify and Evil Genesis have all been eliminated. I think that's it for me, It's incredible to come from a 1-nill down to win this round! Who am I going to face next? Harkorede and buwatress Div 2 is fun you gotta try it.

Well... After getting a 2-0 lead at the beginning of this round, now it looks like I'll be lucky to geta draw. I git few questions wrong and my opponent got them right so now I can hope for a draw if Milan wins with a single goal difference.

How is everyone doing this round?
I finally scored few points from Brighton and Liverpool matches, while my nemesis have zero points, but there are more matches to be played and I will stay humble.

It's official I'm kicking of this season with a win, regardless of the remaining results, and that's all thanks to Ben Shelton's major come back against Marcos Giron, for his first ATP tour final.
The fun fact is that I've only gotten 2 questions right so far, plus the H2H bring my tally to 3. I don't think I have I ever won any round my getting just 2 points correctly so far, with the remaining 2 questions which I'm not confident of getting right, but thanks to me and my opponent sharing the same opinion on both questions.

We are very happy to have started the season with 3 points. I know that our supporters are angry at us because of not being able to create a logo as a team yet. However there is nothing more beautiful than winning. I hope that we can manage to make everyone who supports cls63 experience the joy of another championship.

yeah, myself not being much better either, but having a point was enough for a win
all common answers were mistakes so far, and I can't call any of outcomes big surprises
Merseyside was as expected, Young being sent-off was important moment, and we could not defend with 10 men for a whole half-time

I was late for 1-2 weeks while making predictions this year and I couldn't do much research. I won't have much time next year as well. It will be injustice for the people in the league if I give random answers. Because of that I won't be a part of this great organization next year. Thank you all for everything.
