I hate the Cup. This is the 5th BSFL season and I think I never reached R16.

As I said, I think my Round 2 answers are really good and Round 1 is one of the most difficult ones I ever had to answer. Well, there's always next season.

Next round we return to the league and LMS, so info to those that want to rebuy - the deadline to do it is Tuesday, same as the submission for the answers.

Priorities. For Div 1 cup is side competition where we let our youth players get some experience. For Div3 it is a chance for glory and big rewards. just like in the real life.

Kidding aside, I really don't know how that is happening season after season but I am really glad that it does. Maybe some quantum entanglement shit we can't perceive or explain with current state of science 

OK, so my team barely made it through in the first round. I hope that I can win Chi20 in the second round without penalties. It's gonna be an intense two days of checking the results. We have only two different answers not including the penalties question so it will be tight.

I wanted to face Patikno in the second round, but unfortunately, he failed to get a point to force the penalties.

Looking at our predictions, the odds are against me in the second round. I'll need some signs of life from Chelsea for my first point, and if not I hope the other favored teams don't cover the five goals.  

  I can confirm that I am also out aswell,  since the only different answer between slackovic and I is the fiba question and he had Yes and I went with No. Unicaja is certainly winning the cup.

It looks like division 1 took a pretty big hit here already, so many big names would be watching from the sidelines now, huh ? I really don't know why top flight teams really struggle in the cup, real life representation ?

I am out early again, but I see many underdogs winning and finally someone kicked your arrogant ass from Cup, so only Snake is left to go
My hope is that someone from lower divisions win the Cup again, but let the best team win.

Well first time winning in the cup!!! in penaltys with a lot of sorrow.

But..... i still dont break my curse, why? Because i always started in second round for being in div1, but never pass the second round

Well this is actually sad. 0-0 for the whole 1st round then only win with a small margin on penalties lol. If only we are tied on penalty score then I would lose on the minutes tiebreaker. My luck really sucks on cup


@B1g4udge : 2 different answers between us for the 2nd round. I guess this is the round that Im going to be knocked out. I cant imagine myself actually qualifying to the next round. Also you have slight advantage on dota2 question as both GG and Team Falcons are still there on upper and lower bracket

It is time for Round 2 in the cup and my opponent is Spack17 as it seems. We both have come here with 1-0 wins. Considering our answers to the questions, I can say that the competition is likely to be fierce between us. I hope I can get more lucky.    As we are in terrible condition in Division 1, my team need to improve their morale. I hope we can return to the league with another win. I don't want to finish in bottom 3 positions and say goodbye to Division 1.

Cant win anything in the league but barely win in the cup haha. Funny stuff but taking my first win ever In the BSFL even if its in the cup hopefully my season turns around now and i try and get some wins in the row. Cup will be mine haha everyone should be cautious against me im dangerous now  ,kidding aside happy for my first win.

Shame that this happened, but the fact that the penalties game started almost at the same time as the other 2 today's games, any other differentiator was impossible to make.

Can't believe who my team lost against, this will go down as one of the most shameful moments in club's history.

I really didn't think I'd be talking about a potential come back but freaking Dortmund ruined every chances of that for me, having got Al Ahli not to lose correctly, I just needed a clean sheet from Dortmund, which giving how bright they started I assumed was well on the cards only for it to get blown up in my face.

No worries. I was just kidding. I know it's hard to choose questions when there's not enough interesting sport competitions. It's just weird because it's Friday and we still don't have the first round of the cup settled.

We are always trying to do it that way, at least one question per day is always our goal, but this week it was impossible. Even DOTA had a break until today. We could have picked WU-20 or some ITF tennis. Nobody would have liked that 

I don't think I agree with you. First of all there are not lots of players that earn within that bracket and further, I am not saying that there is a sort of generalized rule at play, which says "more money => less performance" or something along those lines. But for some players I personally think that their performance did decrease as soon as they signed their first huge contracts. Sure this doesn't apply to Messi or Ronaldo or Haaland, but it reminds me of Götze, Neymar and some others. This doesn't mean they don't play well anymore because they are the born talents. But don't you agree that sometimes you watch a player and then think that there is soooo much more potential? But they can't retrieve it?

Messi and Ronaldo had this insane will power to decide every single game to the maximum of their abilities. If they didn't win, they suffered. Look at Mbappe, I am not very impressed. The guy wasted years of an impressively promising career at PSG, but he started to care less over time. That's at least my impression. At the moment he is not the Mbappe he used to be at the 2018 World Cup. That was an insane player who was unstoppable. He is not producing the stats he should be producing given how much quality he has. I think money plays a role because it opens up a whole different living cosmos for them. So much distraction. Can't even blame them I guess.

I believe players from decades ago would have given everything to become the world's best player. Nowadays if Mbappe won't make it, well he doesn't care because he has billions in the bank. Neymar is far worse than Mbappe though in that regard. Neymar dives and cries and parties nonstop and what not.

The general plan is to have at least 1 question per day, we also hate it when it's not possible. But that just means there's a lot of action today and for the weekend.

Nah he will come back after injuries. They don't really need him tho, they just need the younger guys to step up.
