Well, then a warm welcome to you friend! I still get a small tingly feeling of excitement each time a new user comes to my part of the bitcointalk woods -- I know the forum's much, much larger than the section I'm active in, and to be fair, gambling also wasn't my most active section initially so I know how tough it can be to "break in".

I've had good enough fortune to meet many people from forum, initially just Bitcoin people, but more recently guys from gambling and the good news is they are really cool people, regular and normal as can be, with unique interests you couldn't really find in normal life heh.

I saw your thread actually, and never commented only because I know zero about the leagues there but that kind of diversity is awesome. I have been thinking also about creating a new thread on Women's football, as that's probably one of the seriously untapped markets (gambling wise) and after watching some tournaments recently, I admit the quality is really catching up in Europe, probably even better than some regular football leagues I've played in or watched.

What I like about this pool I think we actually have locals supporting. From what I can gather looking at users, English, Aussies, Croatians, Argentinians, Welsh, US Americans, Canadians, Danish at least have reps here (I actually wonder if it's a good idea to voluntarily note our nationalities too, just for fun of course). I know we have at least one Nigerian I can see, too bad they're not in WC. Any Ghanaian, Cameroonian, Senegalese..?

We need to lure a Brazilian from Sportsbet though!

Yes, up until a month ago I was writing almost entirely in our local section. But now that the World Cup is starting I started to follow the Gambling section. After a few days I noticed that most of you are normal people and not some gambling addicts that are just talking about betting. I even started my own thread about Croatian football league. It's not that popular because the league is not popular but we will see if it will catch up when the World Cup ends and league matches start again.

I noticed KTC and few other guys in predictions pools and I jealous only on him, but I can't remember everyone

When you said the time its doesnt matter its because we are going to answer question more like the 4-3-3 format?

I'm satisfied with draw results. As seeded player, I won't face some big names, but I see that in other groups there is some regular participants of most pools. Jayce and Ulven play in EPL pool now, while I'm not familiar with Slissy.
Already waiting for World Cup to start and also to see how this game will work.
I see that in group stage we will have 4 games every day, probably I won't be able to watch live part of it due to work, but I hope that I won't miss predictions with my bussy schedule.

It will be a form, linked in the world cup topic and here, you will each answer the same set of fixtures and attach a screenshot of the qualifying bet. Still working on finishing details but that is the gist of it. Test round will be active later today or tomorrow so you can give it a try and see how it looks.

Frankly, I think that we have got a very difficult draw as a team. Two members in the group is coming from the club talk quota. It is not very hard to predict that these people are at a high level about betting. dittoup is very active on Sportsbet's contests on the forum especially. He is stepping forward as a successful member. Therefore it would be a big surprise for us to qualify from the group. But we will do our best to make our supporters happy.

Just an idea... Trofo sends a google form link to 32 users in a PM (participants in turn confirm their participation by sending a screenshot of the bid, or the ID).

Slackovic comes from our local section, he only recently found the will to start writing in gambling after we spent years luring him here. So be gentle with him  Not so much into sports other than big competitions like WC, but other than that enormous character flow, a realy good guy 

We had to have one group of death for it to be a propper competition.

I recognise Mitch from my group (D) and I feel like I recognise Renampun from somewhere, but Slackovic, can someone remind me who this guy is? I want to suss up my competition first, but I think I agree Group H is the Group of Death judging from just usernames I'm familiar with.


Wish there was more time to help you guys do this, maybe next big competition (I guess euros?). There has to be a way, and to use a cheap blockchain (or even almost free blockchain) with timestamping -- but yeah, the only way that probably fits everyone is to have it all impartial on the side of the organisers.

We will accept betbuilders with odds above 1.5. not gonna complicate the rules too much. Every bet on every market with odds over 1.5 is ok.

We wanted to play this one really bad and commented on it many times internally but it is impossible to lead competition like this and make it absolutely impossible for us to gain some advantage. What is more important it would be very difficult to prove withot any doubt. For instance we have to have able to see what you guys post to grade it and how to prove we did not check what our rivals answered?

Maybe we could have utilised blockchain to that effect but that would mean paying transactions by every participant and then we would probably not even get 32 players.

It will simulate the real games, but per round. It means that all the participants have to submit the answers before the 1st game, and for all of them the questions will be the same.
That means that it makes no difference whether you are placed in group A or group E - everything is the same for you.


We are really thrilled to do this, and if it goes well hopefully we can do it more often as well. That's why your feedback will be important.
We thought about playing, we do agree that answers can't be known but we can set the questions up so they work in our favor. That's why we decided to skip - we feel it is more fair like that.

This is so entirely different from what have been accustomed to here on the forum, and this is going to be loads of fun, just like the Serie A and La Liga exclusive free bet competition we had last season.

Too bad that Cryptofrka and Trofo can not join in to play, but looking at the structure of the competition and since the answers couldn't have been know before hand and users predictions would get posted one each match day start, I don't think that gives both of them any form of edge over others, but I understand the reason for not being allowed to join in, I just believe it would have gotten more competitive you both playing.

@Trofo, I didn't seem find an answer to the question buwaytress asked earlier, That is If a BetBuilder bet would count towards the minimal 1.5+ Odds for one match ?

Ohh man what a bad luck for me, against CasperBGD and Icopress, the other guy i dont recognize him, so i dont know (maybe its better than us).

Lets see how can be this. i dont have a clue how can be the questions and how can i perform so i cant comment so much in my performance.
