Can't access my primary wallet. This will be my secondary address for verification of ownership if any need arises. My primary address(1edgym1sR5wLyhiziT8nk5spF1MUWAJcA ) is still valid and is not compromised.

Simply stated, there is no issue with signing with the 1SiD... address, but if somebody signs with the 1edgy... address, we should believe them over anything that you say. That's how signature proofs work.
Typically, if you want to use a different address, you would sign a message with the original address saying so. Then there is no question, even if the original address is compromised.
Yes.
1edgy is still mine but no access for now. If I am able to recover it, I will post a signed message here. It's not compromised for sure.

You can continue repeating that 1edgy... is yours as many times as you want, but there is no reason to believe you without a signature. Somebody else could claim that they own 1edgy..., and their claim could be just as valid.

It's not a big deal as long as the address is never compromised, and as long as you never need to prove that you are the person that posted the 1edgy... address or that you owned the edgycorner account before now.

You need to sign the address to prove the ownership. Many non-custodial wallet will give you easy access to sign an address. You can check this tutorial. Electrum was used in this example.

Signing the address initially is not strictly necessary. It's a good idea in order to make sure that you can sign a message with the address, but it is really just a formality. The reason is that there is no benefit to claiming that you own a random address. You don't really need to prove that you own an address until you want to make a statement that requires a proof. In this case, the purpose of posting an address is to be able to prove that you are the original owner of the account at some time in the future.

If I was an impersonator, I would have changed my password and email by now. I am still the same guy, I can verify with my reddit and twitter account linked to this profile(I might have posted them somewhere in the past).
It's a fuckup from blockchain.info's side https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/blockchaincom-issue-5404256 (I can post a video too about how I am unable to login, if you don't believe in the post). I am still logged in from the same device and IP as well.

Edit: I have mentioned my github account in a post from 2018 https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.36121990 I still use it  Smiley
I was also selling my steam account back in 2019, but nobody bought it. I still have it https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.51887812 (if anyone is on steam, they can add me  Grin). And the comments on my profile are made by old school friends(TimeTraveller (ユリ) <3 and rainy; they are still one of my best friends. If anyone wants, I can ask them to comment again with whatever message you want)
If you can find any other associated account, I probably still have it. It's just this wallet  Cry  maybe I can get it back once my phone is fixed
All quoted.
BlackHatCoiner simply wanted to say you do not lose your key. In your case it seems there are many other things to prove yourself but many cases there will not be. So without signing address it's hard to know who the real owner is.
Yes, BlackHatCoiner were nothing but vigilant.

All of my SNS accounts(all secured with 2fa) are connected with this account. Even Facebook, if someone digs deep enough. It's still no excuse for having lax security on my end. I will try to recover my wallet and secure this account with PGP key too in the future.

No offense, but you should have thought of this before. We can't know if you really have lost access to your wallet or if you're an impersonator who ultimately says the truth, that is to say you have no access to it.

This shows how a signed message can expose lies.

Ah, the glories of digital signatures!

Tagged.  According to DarkStar_’s 2022-02-02 negative trust feedback, “Woke up after 2 years of inactivity, staked an address and immediately requested a 0.064 BTC (~$2500 USD) loan.”  icopress concurred.

Record that may be useful to others:

Thanks to SellFullMember18 for stepping forward.  Sorry, you will understand if I do not send merit to your account (LOL).  I didn’t look into this—but for whatever reason, it was good of you to come clean and stop that account from its swindles.

Yes, until now, I still have access to this wallet, currently actively using it. I could also transfer the funds when I wanted.
That should do the trick, but since it belongs to a custodial wallet, then there's always a risk that they might suddenly freeze it for some reason so I'd suggest either do it now by playing it safe [back and forth] or try your best to gain access to the other wallet [blockchain.com].

I know it's already very very late. I'm so sorry if I only answer this now due to inactivity. 1 more month, and it's a year.

But since there have been activities on that address up until March of this year, is it safe to assume that you still have access to that "custodial wallet" and as proof [whenever needed], you could transfer its funds to your newly staked address?
Yes, until now, I still have access to this wallet, currently actively using it. I could also transfer the funds when I wanted.

Quote
Just to be clear, are you referring "only" to the exported private key on the hard drive of the damaged laptop or the ability to access your blockchain.com [formerly known as .info] wallet?
The lost private key on my damaged laptop's hard drive is not exported. It was saved on that said hard drive since I started using the blockchain.com/info account back then which causes lost access.
