2 drops last weekend had a lower wager than 3.5k, the rest was over. Sure some have been close but considering the numbers they choose from are 3-8k and 3-11k for the last drop, u need at least 5-6k in wagers to get like half the drops, mathematically.
If you wager 5k on dice on 1.01 odds you lose at least 50$, most likely more. So there is no good deal because you can't beat the house edge. People are blinded by this "free money" dream on stake. Nothing is free, even the wager isn't.
Why I say it is a good deal, simply because there is not many casinos where we may get such bonus drop every week. At least it is better than nothing. Of course it is not something to chase, it is just a bonus for our wagering activity although I believe many players force themselves to wager every week in order to be eligible for the bonus drop. It is obviously your right to say that it is not a good deal as well as it is my right to say it as a good deal.
