Eddie saw someone in the chat complaining about this and he said it was one of the negative consequences of the DoSS attacks that they had. The system becomes very congested and some of the bets goes missing, but they have implemented some measures to stop the DoSS attacks and they reported the guy who was doing this and also blackmailing them to the authorities. (Also to the platform he used to launch these attacks)
Go watch PrimeEdd's Twitch streaming session of the 30th of January to get some more insight into this whole thing.
I get that it may be a bit hard with ddos and that is why they have fixed it but I didn't really felt any difference to be quite honest. Plus, I am sure it is not blackmailing to authorities, that is like saying "stop doing it or we will release all your info to the world" type of thing, blackmail is something else, I am sure they did get his information and gave that to authorities for complaint, like a lawsuit at best or just simple grievance court, but I am sure not blackmail, that is totally something else. At the end of the day stake is stake and no matter how much people attack, it is not going to really ruin it too much, they will find the attacker, block him and move on without any problems after he is blocked.
This is looking like a good move by stake once again to manage it under very quick circumstances that even some people like me didn't even realize it.
