What is the preferred web browser for this site?
This is definitely not a browser issue. This has always been a fundamental problem with this site and I have gotten used to these issues. The lag especially is insane sometimes.

What is the minimum recommended line speed for the site to work?Huh
Lol. The speed is definitely not the issue here. I am on a 100mbps broadband and I still experience severe lag sometimes both on their casino and betting areas. This is easily one of the worst aspects of this site and I highly doubt we will see any improvement in this aspect anytime soon.

Thank you all for the advice, but it is solved now. It looks like it was something to do with that computer that I was using, because I swapped to another device and it worked fine.  Wink  I still do not know what it was, but I will just re-do the whole thing and start from scratch again.

While I was playing some slots last night, I was wondering how difficult it would be for the Stake developers to implement some kind of Progressive Jackpot? When I gamble at Brick n Mortar casinos, I am naturally drawn to the machines with the Progressive Jackpots and I also look for the machines where you do not have to bet the maximum bet to be eligible for that Jackpot.

Can this be done? < Taking a small percentage of all bets and adding it to a Progressive Jackpot or increasing the house edge a little to make room for that Jackpot? >

Whoa! Stake really knows how to treat their high valued VIP members and with options! Cheesy

He must have wagered a lot of money on Stake and probably he has reached the highest VIP rank.
I'm wondering how many players get similar reward like this so far? I have just reached Platinum II few days ago and can I reach higher level rank to get something like this Smiley ?

If you check his vip membership on the site by hovering over their star it should reveal what rank they are currently at. And it isnt the highest level.
That is reserved for their diamond star vip members. The member has played so much a the limited timeframe of just a couple of months (I believe they started really wagering back in November of last year when the sportsbook was released) to achieve their platinum V rating so stake decided he deserved a gift.
There is a platinum VI then after this is diamond. But there are only a selective few who ever achieve this covenant vip status as I know of only 4 who have.
Bronze level is their first vip level of the program and is easily achievable by just wagering a couple hundred dollars worth of crypto. Unless they have changed the wagered amounts on the entry of the vip program again. Undecided
I remember it was at gold you were allowed to receive daily bonus but now this has been reserved for platinum users only.
But atleast this change gives those who have managed to get to this platinum level more benefits on using the site more often. Grin

It was part of my Platinum V reward; still a long way away from Diamond  Tongue
I'd ask your VIP host about getting something similar, Stake seems to be pretty flexible with what they can do.

Most probably I think it is more about how many people are gambling at one moment than anything else, normally if you use any browser at all and the lag is there, that is not browsers problem (it could be, I wouldn't rule it out) but more about thousands of people gambling at the same time. When the number of active players go down that kinda means there is a good amount of chance there will be no more lag.

You have to understand these kinds of websites with a lot of people on the website at all times usually prepare themselves for the worst case but also have a dynamic server system in place as well for when it goes down, so it doesn't usually take long to recover, even if there is a lot of people gambling and lag starts, in half an hour or at most one hour later it is all fixed.

I have not logged in for a while and now it says "Something went wrong...." it looks like it's just hanging. At the top it says I am logged in, but the games are not responsive.   Sad

What is the preferred web browser for this site? I am using the latest version of Firefox, but it's still giving these errors with Google Chrome. In any way, I will try on another desktop to rule out the OS and browser and then I will get back to you.

Just thought I would mention it here, if someone else experienced the same thing? We have had some Internet problems in our area lately and the line speed is considerably slower now, but my other sites are working fine. <What is the minimum recommended line speed for the site to work?>  Huh
I had experienced same problem with primedice. What I found is, even it showed that I am logged in, it was not allowing me to gamble or to access my wallet. Simply logging out and log-in back solved my problem with primedice.

Stake showed me many times like "new version available. refresh your browser/site or something like that". If you have tried on both firefox and chrome not newly logged-in (just tried to continue with your already logged session), then please log out and check again by freshly logging-in. It may work as per what I had experienced.

All star game at this method was a lot more entertaining than previous years. I do not recall the donation or charity parts of previous years, maybe that existed before as well I can't speak on behalf of that, however at the game there was everything we ever wanted, just 3-4 years ago all-star game started to become like just an exhibition match of Globethrotters or something, it was getting seriously boring, thankfully this year it became more of a fight and players actually played properly.

It was also a great gesture for the award to be named after Kobe as well, from now on that award will be remembered as Kobe forever, just like Bill Russel award as well. The jersey numbers and everything, I was just expecting them to do the 8 second violation and 24 second shot clock thing once more but maybe that would have been too much.

Imagine turning $50 into over $20,000 😲

Not surprised at all. Have seen bigger Plinko wins on your site when compared to this one in the past. Its all about luck at the end of the day.
I too guess this is probably one of the highest odds I have ever seen on plinko win, I do remember one more that was like x1000+ but I am not entirely sure if that was plinko or if it was something else (probably was dice) so this could be definitely the biggest I can clearly remember.

I also realized that sportsbooks usually have elections as a thing as well and looking at stake I couldn't find any election gambling, will there be politics related thing in the future? Like democratic nominee gambling for 2020 election, or the 2020 election itself? Maybe there is one (you guys have some weird sports I have heard for the first time, I am sure you probably have politics too) but I couldn't find anything anywhere, if you could point me in the direction I would love to wager on Bernie Sanders.

I personally do not cash out (which is a good function, I just don't use it) because most of the time when I gambled on a sport, I watch it, I don't gamble on games I have no idea about and 99% of the time it is NBA games that I personally watch myself. It means I am literally watching the game and not on the website and not cashing out while watching, I am fully committed to be watching and at that moment I do not realize I could cash out so it just stays like that.

However, if I did remember to cash out while watching, San Antonio Spurs had bunch of games where they lead early fourth quarter but then started to lose and end up losing, so if I cashed out during their games on early fourth quarters, that would have been very profitable for me on bets that I normally lose.
Cashing out is actually a good one if you use it wisely when you have the chance, most of the time its not used on basketball but more on football, when the team you wagered on is ahead but they started to close down so they can finish the game leading instead of keep pressuring the other team, you realize that the score of 1-0 is not going to be 2-0 since they are no longer attacking and only trying to not concede any goals, which means 1-1 is a bigger possibility than 2-0 so at that moment you end up cashing out and getting a profit but than the feared happens and the team literally gets a goal scored on them. Obviously, these are not 100% guaranteed stuff, its football in the end and anything could happen but in situations like that you could make a judgement call yourself, having the option is cool.
I agree cashing out could be great way to keep your profit when your team is already on the lead.
There are so many things that could happen in sports that would instantly change the game.
Just imagine your team is already winning and their star player got injured.
