Calm down guys, you do not have to go into this philosophical discussion about what faucets bring to the table and how important they are etc etc. I am sure it is just a glitch and they are working on it and soon they will fix it. If they came out and said that they are no longer giving away faucets than I would have understand but symphonized even said maybe its a temporary thing and asked you to send a ticket.
I checked myself and I got ethereum faucet so it doesn't seem to be working the same for everyone but I couldn't get bitcoin neither so I assume some of it is more global. Lets wait and give them some time to breath and work on it and I am sure they will be capable of fixing it very soon. Who knows maybe we came in just as their faucet hot wallet got emptied and they will just refill and finish the job.

The faucet can be disabled for any reason (maintenance etc) but the there should be announcement of it on stake.com to avoid unnecessary rumours.
If they plan to shut the faucet there is nothing wrong as it was created initially for awareness and to test and the platform, they are giving away coins for active users and to participate in their activities and it is the best promotion if you are visiting the site to gamble and since they are established they do not need collectors who are active in the site to collect the free coins 
. I might be wrong as i have not participated in any freebies but spent some time in stake when i was active in their campaign and since i usually do not post much for the minimum withdraw amount i usually spent time with some of the games and it was fun.

Hey there. Actually, you can still claim faucet, but only in Doge coin. I cannot state for sure, but I guess the faucet feature will be completely disabled in the future.

I could not test the faucet with doge because i have balance in doge and faucet only works if you have zero balance. However to check, i did try bitcoin faucet and it says that the faucet is disabled. Cheers all! I think the faucets will pretty soon be a thing of the past. Basically the faucet was invented to try out Bitcoin without having to go thru the hassle of buying it or mining it. And the purpose of the faucet with a gambling site was to try out the site or the type of game before actually going thru the hassle of doing a deposit. Because if someone didn't like dice, or the speed of the site, or the features of the site it would be annoying having to make a deposit, pay a miner fee, and then the site would have to pay another fee for the withdraw. Hence why the faucet was invented.
However as 2017 rolled around, there was massive amounts of abuse with the faucets. Basically I think it was like 0.1% or so that abused it but they took 99% of all the faucet payouts and the site had no other choice but to disable it. Because those faucet abusers almost never made a deposit and contributed nothing to the gambling website.
Hence why you will see more and more sites use tokens or some type of demo play to test out the site. Since it was becoming very troublesome and took too much man hours to sort thru all those withdraw requests which were purely out of faucet earnings.

Very risky abd very low chabce of winninv but he still lucky because they won more bitcoins. But If they lose I don't imagine what I feel I lost more bitcoins. But sometimes taking high risk is getting a high and good result just like the gambling. The faucet amount is just so small amount while users can earn much more through the rainbot, challenge, forum rewards, and many other promotions. Real gamblers wont really care about faucet in general imho so I think it is OK to remove the faucet.
Maybe they're spending so much on faucets that it's reducing their profits and those amounts could be spent on something better (ads contests,etc) . I also think it's reasonable for them to remove the faucet because the main reason for it is to play without a deposit and we can still do it since they don't have a minimum amount in all of their games. With that said, their faucet becomes a bonus and unncessary. Those are not the reasons, the reasons are simple so people that want's to try out the site and those who want a quick free balance for their bets can try out our Forum instead and grab some satoshis from Pay per Post.

Plus sportsbetting is probably the most played game all around the world, there are 17 countries that are illegal to gamble but allowed to sportsbet so all in all when you combine a greatly played game plus a greatly run organization, it is just too obvious why people can't wait for pd/stake to start their sportsbook.
