I've been solo mining the last few days.  I think I did hit an orphan or two, but for the most part everything seems to be working fine.  Even saw some PoS activity going on without grinding everything to a halt.

I got it synced with connect=63.246.129.56:18216,  I dont know who is it but.. it shows same as explorer

Pool will be up shortly Smiley

That is the IP for the block viewer, and will be a perminant node
Really? what a coincidence.. i choose it randomly, after trying connect=starcoin.info with no luck.

The pool is having some weird issues left by all the blocks found on the fork, im cleaning it up.

EDIT: The pool is only generating ORPHANS on same fork that block explorer is...  I dont know whats wrong

I don't know why, but it still gets on a fork.

Can someone verify that the explorer is on the main fork? I would be able to "-connect=" and get that chain.

EDIT: well.. the explorer is not accepting direct incoming connections, so I used one of the posted peers.. lets hope i get the right one this time.

Please tell me what peer is on the right chain. I think i am on a fork too...

It happened then.. The pool forked :
Code:
   "blocks" : 132105,
    "currentblocksize" : 2031,
    "currentblocktx" : 1,
    "difficulty" : 0.05924566,

    "hashespersec" : 0,
    "networkhashps" : 10340325,
    "pooledtx" : 17,

I dont know how to stop this from happening.
It is the latest client.

Can you check with the block explorer? Mine is consistent with it.

seems to me the block advances a lot faster than 30 sec/block. Is the chain good or it is hacked??

{
    "blocks" : 135105,
    "currentblocksize" : 1000,
    "currentblocktx" : 0,
    "difficulty" : 0.40577189,

    "hashespersec" : 0,
    "networkhashps" : 76717988,
    "pooledtx" : 0,
    "testnet" : false
}

Everything seems correct to me. From the block explorer:

1000 blocks = 8h21m = 501 mins

expected: 30 sec per block, so 1000 blocks = 500 mins. Match perfectly! Smiley

I have an issue with the wallet not being opened with the new version.. Any help appreciated:

Code:
Verifying last 0 blocks at level 1
 block index               3ms
Loading wallet...

Did you sync from scratch? You may need to clean up everything in the config dir, except the wallet.dat and config file, then start the sync. I did mine, seems working fine.

Done this a few times already, it always fails to read the wallet .

Any mining pool up on STR?
Will be up as soon as i get the main wallet up Smiley

All seems well here after 14 hours solo mining. Smiley

I am seeing the odd orphan and a few too many rejects.. but meh..

That may be due to a large number of stake blocks getting generated now that wallets are back up and syncing.  I know my wallet found several hundred stake blocks within about 2 hours after syncing.

i only got 4 but they were large stakes so nice and neat Smiley
