Did you guys loose a lot?

With the recent chinese crackdowns, several exchanges just closed or abandoned ship. I am sure some ppl loose more, even BTCs and LTCs.

Maybe you we can all email them?!

i have some problems with ufc i send some coins from pool to my wallet and lost
and from btcltc 20 k and in the site is complete the wallet is empty ..

I think btcltc is still using the old 1.1 client.

I have emailed them twice, and they are very stubborn. Maybe we all need to spam them. Your transaction just never happened.

But from the pool, it should work. Post your address, and you can check the transaction in the block explorer:
http://ufc.cryptocoinexplorer.com/

i've tried to withdraw ufc from btcltc several times but never reveived any coin either.
i asked btcltc about this problem, they said they are using the latest version. i guess they didn't re-download the whole block chain and they didn't give me any reply for this. so why it is necessay to re-download the block chain? any other solutions if they didn't do this?

For TEST-GPL, despite letting it sync from scratch I am getting "Error loading blkindex.dat" after I restart it.

Dream?  Cheesy

And do we want to implement KED new fee rate before or after the exchange?
IMO before is better, but time is running out. 1.5 more weeks.

Finally, considering how many shit coins out there, can we celebrate the exchange launch with our own shit coin? Hehehe. How about Ferengi's EarWax coin??   Dream, wanna whip one up? We can make the record of the fastest coin accepted on an exchange if we launch at the hour of the exchange launch Tongue

I think some of the best shit coins are joke coins. I'm still waiting for someone to make Quatloos! How about trillions of of Tribble coins?

I tested this with a completely fresh data dir, fresh wallet. Got stuck at block: 159363, cpu at 100%.
Tailing the debug log, nothing but:
"ProcessBlock: ORPHAN BLOCK, prev=00000396ca10e195096e
received block 0000017e12afbaf1cb81"

Maybe that the main issue of the CPU load has been the fork Huh

Has the client synced up yet? It is normal to get patches in the log like you seen.

After reading your post, I went and did clean database rebuild without incident. I must have tested this about a half dozen times times (Clean database rebuild) with the new client.

It is possible that this particular issue (Database rebuild getting stuck on an orphan block) will remain while the network remains small, though I have yet to experience it myself. With 30 second target times there are bound to be lots of orphans coupled with only being connected to a couple of nodes who only have that orphan block, could cause this issue to pop up.

I restarted the sync, with connect=gpl.cryptocoinexplorer.com, everything went well, and it's synced up.
The daemon seems to be working well.

TEST BUILD - GOLD PRESSED LATINUM 2.5 is available.

https://github.com/Hartland/TEST-GPL.git

1. Start up time has been greatly reduced. Down to about 10-20 seconds, system dependent (My system for development is 8 core - 16 GB)

2. "getmininginfo" RPC command now shows network hash rate, Nfactor and N value.

This new build changes the block database (NOT the block chain, this is not a fork, the clients internal database has been changed slightly).

Therefore,  one will have to delete everything out of the datadir except for wallet.dat and goldpressedlatinum.conf.

SOP - Backup your wallet.dat

Database rebuild is much quicker, maybe a hour or two.

REMINDER - THIS IS A TEST BUILD AND NOT A RELEASE BUILD!! If issues arise, I will post pulls to the github to fix them.

Note: There is no Windows build. Once I officially release this version, I will once again enter the mystical land of Windows compiling and compile the official release.

Thanks for all your hard work guys!

I won't be making the Grand Nagus proud but here's 250 GPL for the give away:
007f893fa583e95aceb69a2e088550aa14083b19745d5cb195f8b7aa7964399f

Thanks Xaltotun!

Don't worry about Nagus, he is not very tall! In fact you can easily incapacitate him by tickling his ears!

Btw, wassup with Nagus trying to control KED's fees? Has Shorty expand his grip to the ridge-head land?

Anyway, I am proud to be working with the Star Trek and Scifi community. This is the Pursuit of HappYness for me Cheesy

***Update Concerning the GPL wallet***

I have applied some fixes and have lowered the initial wallet load time to less then 10 seconds.

The fixes are still a little rough around the edges, and there a couple of more things I want to add before a full release.

I will most likely release a test build in Github later today.
