It looks like there is some type of major chain reorganization happening. All the Daemons and clients I am running/started have CPU pinned at 100%. I am now in the process of a complete database rebuild on the explorer to get an idea of what is happening.
To be sure you get your coins, I am going to send you 7 GPL out of my personal wallet (It looks like you are owed a little over 6 GPL) as soon as it syncs up.

Dream, did you just need to redownload the chains? Both my personal wallet and the wallet in the exchange server are not completely syncing. They are at 100% CPU. I can see that the block explorer is back up. What did you have to do to get it working?

Also thanks for the official Darsek update. Nice job!!

Yes, I believe there may have been a small fork in the chain. This will not be uncommon with a 30 second coin until more people start mining it.

Though miners may lose some coins if they are mining on the orphan chain. Nobody loses coins in transactions because transactions on the orphan chain never happened on the main chain, so ones wallets will show the balances that were there Pre-fork +- the transactions on the main chain when it finds the proper chain.
Normally this will happen automatically, but the GPL network is not very big and it can take a bit for the couple of clients on the orphan chain to realize they are on the orphan chain. Once the network gets bigger this should happen much less often and clients should be able to detect orphan chains more quickly.

i have some problems with ufc i send some coins from pool to my wallet and lost
and from btcltc 20 k and in the site is complete the wallet is empty ..

I think btcltc is still using the old 1.1 client.

I have emailed them twice, and they are very stubborn. Maybe we all need to spam them. Your transaction just never happened.

But from the pool, it should work. Post your address, and you can check the transaction in the block explorer:

This post will serve as the official announcement for Darsek version 8.6.

Windows QT:

1. The exception issue has been resolved. This was caused by Windows compiler issues. The Darsek Windows QT client is now "mostly" a static build. Only one DLL is required to run the client and it is included in the zip archive. To make a complete static build I would have to compile a special version of MinGW again, and I do not want to upset the Windows compile gods by altering the ritual it took to get the compile right in the first place.  Smiley

You will need to delete the TXLEVELDB directory in your data directory and  the new client will rebuild it. This is due to a different version of LevelDB that was needed to help solve the exception issues.

2. Cosmetic fixes. No new cosmetic touches have been added, but the current cosmetics have been improved for usability.

Linux-Github:

1.The source on Github has been updated with the Cosmetic fixes.

Windows compile is a mix of .pro file changes that depend on the version of Mingw, QT , Boost, Berkley DB, Miniupnp, Open SSL, LevelDB and how they are compiled that publishing the Windows QT PRO file in Github would cause more problems then it would solve.

will star trek coins have legal problems like coinye?

As I understand it as long as we acknowledge Paramount as the owner of the intellectual property its all gravy.

please read this:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Trek_fan_productions

Perhaps we can get UFC, KED and GPL added to this wiki.

Cool, deleting the blockchain and downloading it again did the trick; Thanks! I have done that before with other coins but was feeling lazy and hoping more nodes would help. I threw those into my conf file though just to be sure. I'm all up to sync again. Cool

GPL is behaving ok for me and the console is returning getinfo right away. It does take forever sometimes to start up though. I also can't run the wallet on two of the i7 desktops I have, for some reason the client crashes. But on my i7 laptop where I'd prefer it to be works just fine.

will star trek coins have legal problems like coinye?

I doubt this very much. The Star Trek universe has all kinds of independent projects that honor it. Just like transparent aluminum, how do we know this isn't the origins of the federation credit system? Grin

I can see that GPL network is rather sick right now, last night I was able to do getinfo, but now it's at 100% and not responding.

Poor Dream!

I also heard there was going to be a hard fork on DPS, is there a new client? Is the fork done yet? Can I resume mining it?
DPS Developer said it's not recommended to mine until he releases the new wallet.

Thanks for the nodes, Unfocus but sadly I still can't sync. UFC wallet stops w/ no connections about 1750 blocks to go.

I had that issue last week, had to stop, and redownload the whole chain. I had lots of issues with my old wallet, I am guessing because I had lots of POS blocks, many were orphans and rejected by other nodes.
After I got it working, I transferred all my coins to a brand new wallet. Now it works like a charm, but I have to wait 1 month if I want any POS income again. The transfer takes several small transactions because of the max block size.

I just compiled UFC at the exchange server, I got lots of connections so far:

"addr" : "99.137.226.94:59918"
"addr" : "84.200.17.249:7013"
"addr" : "50.156.4.44:37446"
"addr" : "76.175.31.202:55758"
"addr" : "75.180.60.109:58761"
"addr" : "198.199.100.216:7013"
"addr" : "173.216.0.231:63550"
"addr" : "76.175.31.202:55073"
"addr" : "77.222.105.7:50328"
"addr" : "84.193.227.97:62260"

Good luck!

The fix I found is similar for windows.   Back up the wallet.dat, keep it safe as a backup, and with the original wallet.dat you just copied from either, move it to a new directory temporarily, or rename it wallet2.dat. Delete all the other files and directories in the hidden UFC roaming folder. Then download the entire blockchain again. A new wallet.dat will be created (your wallet will be empty).   close the client after it's fully synced.  now in the delete the new (wallet.dat (the empty one)) but leave te other files intact and restore the original wallet.dat (the one you renamed or moved).  Boot up the winQT,  it will take longer than usual and say, rescanning, maybe more than once but after 15 mins. you should be good to go and your connections will hold and PoS will start as intended.

Can someone tell me where the official thread for OFF coin is? I need a wallet.

@jonoiv,

It seems that Dreamwatcher was able to get over the QT issue, and the new wallet was working fine so far.

I'd love if I can launch the exchange with DPS in it.

I wanted to run a giveaway for first exchange users, and pre-load their wallets with some coins. Cassie is onboard, she will support the QBT giveaway. Mogrith was willing to donate some DPS and FFC as a backup, but I thought I'll talk to coin developers first. I'll talk to Jude Law (FFC) next if he wants to sponsor too. Next will be OFF, then we would cover all the initial coins. That would be a nice launch, right? Cheesy

Error starting wallet, appeared after updating video card drivers.

Which version of the wallet? If it is the most recent (since last night  - 8.6), this is due to the different version of leveldb I needed to use to fix the compile (exception issue) issue in Windows QT.

Either way, clean out your datadir except for wallet.dat and your conf file. Restart your client to rebuild the block-chain.

Though I have not officially announced it yet, the new version is in the google drive. It has been reported by the few I told to test it that only deleting the  txleveldb folder also works and is quicker because the block-chain itself need not be re downloaded.

 If anyone is looking to purchase some coins, I am willing to sell some. I currently have 360 GPL, 365,000 UFC, 7000 KED, and 19,000 DPS.

 Thanks for any info in advance!

I appreciate it Dream, but it's not necessary.  Smiley  Weird crap happens.
I've nuked everything but my wallet and resyncing also.  I'll let you know how that goes.

EDIT:
Re-synced and I went from 3.16 confirmed to 33.4+
Looks all good now.  Smiley  I've turned off Auto-withdraw on the pool so I can keep track of chunks, and deleted my conf file all together so the gen=1 isn't eating my proc.

Hi.
As a followup to MobGods post, I've only received the first manual withdraw of 1.56299059
The other 3 have yet to show up in my Wallet.  I was gonna shrug, walk away and mine something else, but MobGod insists that would be a mistake I'll regret Cheesy
