what your intend to do besides the .net & C# nbitcoin can be done in counterparty and factom right?

Im not familiar with these projects, but Im not aware of any startups offering private chain functionality that are targeting the corporate world in the same way as Stratis. Stratis is a unique platform is many ways.

I believe neither of those projects offer a Blockchain-As-A-Service platform that allows one click provisioning of Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitshares and Waves nodes. While also being able to provision private chains via Stratis.

We have extensive enterprise IT experience in the team and our CEO has experience in business to business consultancy, delivering solutions and services to corporations around Europe. So we are not only targeting the corporate market, we will be actively marketing and selling services to them.

Stratis consultancy really separates us from the rest, none of the other blockchain projects provide consultancy services around their own blockchain tech and those of Bitcoin, bitshares and Ethereum. This is going to be of great importance when selling these services to businesses. The team has extensive consultancy experience and will be able to offer them a level of service that a enterprise organisation would expect. This also gives corporations the protection of accountability, as Stratis consultancy will be a registered business.

Stratis is not just offering one piece of the puzzle, we are building an end to end solution for Blockchain testing, development and deployment. Im not aware of any competitors offering a full blockchain development platform.

I think bitcoin is too valuable to throw away on this junk.

I'm curious why you think this is junk.  I'm a very skeptical individual and never believe all the promises and hype.  Even now I'm in a wait and see mode with this.  I rarely get involved in any ICO and regardless of market cap most of the recent ICO's will never have any significant real world use.  This one caught my eye specifically because it is based on Microsoft technologies and the NBitcoin framework is already developed and code, examples, and even an eBook from the developer of NBitcoin is available right now on github.  That same developer has even stated that they will be building on top of that framework specifically for this project.  That in itself is more than other recent ICO's that I won't mention by name but you are likely aware of.

I also see a space that this could fill that isn't currently occupied.  Many of my friends and colleagues mostly Microsoft veterans like myself have no desire to get involved with cryptocurrency but might give it a second look if it was based on technologies that they are familiar with.  I see many real world use cases for blockchain technology using C# and .NET.  Regardless of anyone's opinion of Microsoft, the fact remains that they own the desktop and corporate markets.  C# and .NET are already widely used in those environments.  This would make it much easier to deploy blockchain technology into those environments.

One real world use scenario would be Unity which has already been mentioned in this thread.  I can imagine a game made in Unity, coded with C#, and allowing for in game purchases using bitcoin.  It could be used as a sidechain for things as common as tracking time cards, inventory, ledgers, etc...  The uses are out there but getting people to adopt it is another story.  The fact that it is based on Microsoft technologies is a plus for the market that they appear to be targeting.  I think it's a long shot but the potential is there.

Anyway, my intention isn't to start an argument.  I was hoping to hear opinions from others good or bad as I make my own determination as to the validity and viability of this project.  I do understand your point about bitcoin being valuable though and that is definitely something to think about before trading it for something else.    Smiley

I couldn't have said it better myself.

Can I reserve Urdu translation (Pakistan/India)

Thank you. You have 3 days to complete the translation

I agree Bitcoin is extremely valuable which is why this project has grabbed my attention. I'd like to hear more about why you think this is junk. Healthy discussion from different points of view almost always favors investors.

I 2nd that. Do share chesthing. Don't just babble stuff without backing things up.

that is the reason some people would resort to bounty hunting.
