the price has drop about 80% of its' highest price, this has the reason that now the markets trend is down, but it also has the coins its own problem, the dev team need to do something to ensure stratis' market cap in top 50.

STRATIS made so much noise in the first year that people inspired by the success began to believe in even greater growth. But then as you know perpetual growth do not exist. And many people were just with a big pile of coins on hand, which is very much lost in price. It is not known how much they will have to wait for the next growth to reset the coins at a favorable price. The one who does not draw conclusions after the event, he will always lose.  Cry
Meanwhile, the team is in Amsterdam at the exhibition, they go further.  Smiley

Nice entry point for Stratis followers!

Stratis has dropped to its one-year low price range.

Yeah, after one significant year big drop, Stratis needs to do something to ensure its market cap in top 50, otherwise it will die, we don't wannt it dies.

Personally I think Blitzcash will come back, once the full node and sidechains out.

Blitzcash rip. They do not have the money to pay 30$ for the site's domain. Or write something on Twitter.
Only a madman is waiting for a revival Blitzcash.

Maybe, but ... do you know what was on the blitz website ? Reply: nothing. Absolutly nothing, it was a graveyard.

Maybe "they do not have the money to pay 30$ for the site's domain", but one guy had that amount to pay 90 days more for the blitzcash explorer hosting on https://chainz.cryptoid.info/  Grin

Is it safe to assume that Blitz (and TVE for that matter) have fallen by the wayside because all energies have been focused on Stratis? Or should I have a different perspective?

Your last question is relevant. All I can see and say about it (since we do not know anything) is that Alpho2k (who was TVE's lead dev) is still in the "Team Stratis" and he does not appear seriously on the public part of Stratis github.
Therefore, at least, he does not work on breeze nor on the full node. Not officially.

It's part of the questions to ask when they decide to communicate ...

Personally I think Blitzcash will come back, once the full node and sidechains out.

I'm a Stratis ICO investor who really appreciates what Chris and the team has achieved here in terms of market cap. I'm still holding a few of those ICO coins but am now wondering if I should get back in for more given that price is almost 80% off the ATH.

Recently, Blitzcash was delisted from Bittrex, the website disappeared, and there is zero activity regarding that project. This is giving me pause with respect to Stratis because of the overlap in team members between the two projects. I haven't been following Stratis development over the past 2 years, so I'm unaware of how far the project has come along.

I think Stratis thought it was more beautiful than it really was in 2016 and early 2017, and proposed a roadmap far too aggressive that they were not able to keep.

This raises concerns about investor confidence due to delays, but it also raises questions about projects dependent on Stratis' progress in development. Blitzcash is the perfect example: without sidechains nor fullnode, no release possible.

I think we need to stop speculating on the Stratis dependent projects, and we will make an assessment when the sidechains and the full node will be operational. At that moment, I will be the first to be critical about the past 2 years, for good or bad. But by then, I clearly do not have enough elements to get an idea.

"long term" I heard here in Stratis from 2 years. How long can be "long" Huh When waiting finish and long term be now ?? Another 2 years with nothing relase ? Hire more devs or something !!

Are you kidding me? Apple was below 5 bucks for 25 years, now its standing at close to 200$, amazon was under 6$ after the dot com bubble, now its over 1700. You've been spoiled by the january bull run but you forget that people need to pay for those billions entering the market. They won't do that unless something massive happens, which it will, but it'll take time. Idk man you could buy a benz in a year or two, buy a lambo in 5-7 years from now, or buy a yacht from a 2K investment in 10 years, it's up to you

or in 10 years stratis will be nothing and not exist.

Spoiled is definitely the right word. I would admit that even I am spoiled riding these insane bull run waves, but we need to be realistic. Even if it went on for a while, everybody should know that such growth can never be sustainable.

How much minutes or hours does it take for stakes to be mature. how long do i have to wait. does my weight against the network will determine when I will be able to claim my staking bonus. Unfortunately I have no experience in staking $STRAT as mine is stored in a hardware wallet.

As Bitcoin slowly climbs its way back up the charts, the value of most altcoins will also increase. Inexperienced Day Traders will try to squeeze as much as they can out of this price action, deceiving themselves into thinking they are making great profits. But when Bitcoin goes parabolic they will be in for a rude awakening, they will be left behind. At that point, they will have to buy back in at much higher prices. Holders will end up making 10 to 100 times more than these Day traders. And just so you know, Day traders typically lose about 50% of the time on average, or more. So at the end of the year, their profits will likely be even lower than they thought compared to what they could have had if they had held.

is it actually worth staking strat? Ive had my coins staking for about 20 hours now, and now it the reward time has increased to 23 hours

not really; ever since binance stakes other users coins has diluted the staking rewards almost in half for everyone else on the network.

I feel bad for people thinking this is still a good price point to sell btc for however many stratis tokens which barley has any effect on staking rewards.

https://chainz.cryptoid.info/strat/#!rich

you can see how many stratis coins top holders are staking; take #66 for example with around 240k stratis coins is only generating 9-11 coins per day; before binance came into the network 240k coins would stake on avg 15-17 coins per day.  It doesn't look like it makes sense even if you were ranked #66.

Actually thinking more about this the team prob didn't think a Binance would stake the network with other users coins; at first it prob seemed logical and made sense large stake holders would make the network more secure; but Binance collects stratis tokens on every trade so their Wallet will just keep growing and growing diluting everyone's staking rewards for future use.  Did Stratis bite themselves in the ass on this one?

And what is this masternode stuff they announced for over a year?  Is this released yet?  Are they making the richer more rich with the selective people to run masternodes?   Make sure you accumulate 250k stratis tokens to run a masternode! LOL
I think you are completely missing the point here.

Yes staking rewards are low, but they are low for everyone even binance. They are based on the number of coins you hold.
If you dont stake your percentage of the total supply will get smaller. If you stake it will stay the same (actually it will get bigger as not everyone stakes).

Of course you need enough strat so it can pay for the electricity used, but you can stake on a pi or similar.

Just the usual crypto cycle here, nothing new.  A bear market after the super bullish run, same whiners comes to the forum again and again, complaining 'bout price and everything else.  Go to sleep, see you in 6 months or so.

What hits them hard is that this negative cycle is now taking much longer than most of the investors would have expected. And it can go on for a while.
