Because men are risk taker, and women are quiet hesitant to take the risk for some good reason. 21% of women attendees is not that bad, it will increase soon since they are more active now compare before and the society are more open now for the women, there is nothing to worry about this women are still strong compare to other men and they can also take the risk, if they fully understand this market.
I agree with you infact 21% attendees is really good if we see women's participation percentages in other fields too. Moreover, until now we have seen only people closely related to IT and Finance fields have joined the shore of cryptocurrencies and women have never show high participation in Cyber related issues. Once we see instances of mass adoption which means this percentage would definitely increase. Moreover if we leave the developed countries aside. Most of the women in most parts of the world still account for in the dependent population which means they don't have a earning capacity to buy bitcoin or participate in ICOs

Cryptocurrency is still in its infancy and less than 2% of the world population owns any crypto at all (the proportion of active users may be much smaller). So it is too early to look at the gender-wise and race-wise distribution of the users. Once crypto becomes more popular and its acceptability increases, we will find more even and uniform distribution of the users.

Here even, perhaps, it is connected not with risk, but with the fact that men are usually interested in new technologies. Women prefer consistency more. At the same time, krtptovalyutu can be called a new type of business, and this is the lot of men.

It's not strange anymore because men generally like to make money for themselves as future savings and future responsibilities after building a family, I think it's very good when men are most important in this matter as cryptocurrency continues to grow with all their responsibilities as builders any project, as time goes by women will soon enter with all the ease of access, now maybe after crypto hype is everywhere because in my country there are still many people who don't know crypto.

Indeed, the reality is why the crypto currency market is dominated by men? because men are more dominated by using logic and strategies in making decisions when trading, while women are not so they prefer to use their feelings every time they make a decision, but indeed in fact not all men and women are not and cannot equated but globally it can be said that.

The study shows that the cryptocurrency events “have a long road ahead toward gender inclusion” and such events have “to change.”

Bizzabo co-founder and customer success chief Alon Alroy said in relation to the study’s findings that “there is a lack of gender diversity” in the cryptocurrency industry and that it is “reflected in the attendance for these events.” He mentioned that such lack of gender diversity is also true for the tech industry in general.

Atleast there is 21% are women. I think it is normal. Generaly men are responsible to earn money for their wifes and children, bitcoin is more cosidered as an asset rather than a currency so maybe woman will only take a small part in bitcoin but if bitcoin is mostly used in e-commerce market place then I am sure that the percentage of women who take part in bitcoin will be increase because women loves to shoping.

It is not surprising that men are into cryptocurrencies more than women. Men are risk takes and are the family providers in most cases hence they have too look for ways to generate income. Most ladies are not into the technology thing and are not risk takers. There are a few ladies in cryptocurrency but their number are not much. With massive adaptation of cryptocurrencies this will change
How can we conclude that only few women are into the crypto currency based on event attendance?

I can see many forum members are women these days and also trading sites like LBC so they also know about the benefits but women are more selfish so don't want to spread about cryptos to other women. Cheesy

yes, indeed there are currently more men entering the crypto world than women, this is not a problem, I think entering crypto is not a gender problem but a problem of someone's understanding of crypto itself.

You have a point here, this is not about gender, it`s about technology and understanding technology. Girls are generally less in technology, so it`s not strange that there are less girls in crypto too. I would like to think that its just currently, and with growing popularization more girls will join, and girls will have their own projects too, blockchain can be applied on everything, they just need to find out more about that and start learning.
I think not because they are less skilled at technology, but because they are not too interested in online business, they think that it is only a part of men, even though it is a cryptocurrency for everyone and all genders.
we need more socialization that cryptocurrency is not only a business but also a currency that can be used as an alternative to everyone

Having 21% women attendees are not bad and fair enough since majority of women have other interest and prefer the girly things like fashion, parties and cooking.

I think it should not be treated as big deal.

On the other hand we know men are more open for opportunities, technology and likes to venture on different things hence such percentage is not surprising.

I would say the same thing. 21% is indeed a very good figure for the female participation. I understand that girls are more into fashion, parties and cooking as you said. But the good thing about Bitcoin is that it is possible to combine these activities with crypto. Even some of the supermarkets are now trying to encourage the frequent shoppers by gifting them crypto-tokens, just like reward points.

This is just a normal thing and it’s difficult to explain. You will hardly see women participate in things like this .even in some work places you will hardly see women cause a lot of people believes that such job is meant for men to do. And btw, if you check, you will notice that majority of the investors in the world are men and not women. You will hardly see a woman who is an investor. I’ve never seen one to be sincere.
Yeah, where are some fields only done by most men. agree, I think it's hard to explain why more men in online business than woman, maybe passion plays a role here? but I'm more thinking that most women prefer a career in a certain field that is more feminine, not in an online business like this

I would not argue with this statistics because the cryptospace is really dominated by men and so you should expect the high attendance of any crypto event to be in the favour of men. In spite of this there are a couple of women who are also very prominent in the cryptospace and in future it is likely to see many women taking up huge positions in the industry.

This statistics may well be correct because currently, there are more men who have cryptocurrency awareness than women. You can even sense this from the discussions in the different cryptocurrency groups in telegrams and other cryptocurrency social media platforms.
Lol, you are even going too far, I know that there is not option on this forum to show the participant gender but from their nicknames here, we will even see that majority of the participants here are males, I have only sensed one or 2 females in this forum.

That is how God has created them, their emotion is not channeled to follow paths like this, but they are good in their own way and one good thing about them is that, whatever they get involved in becomes successful, that is why I am also so eager to see them join our crypto world too and start making their own suggestion that could the blockchain technology more accepted. Come to think of this. What if satoshi was a woman?

^^ sexist much lol  cute puppies, rainbows and makeup also, clearly they already busy so its understandable Tongue    I'd just take it on the figures face value, more then half the world is women so we can take the low percentage in crypto as showing a lopsided distribution.

I'm generally bullish on propagation of the technology and development of utility through the economy to all applications possible.    So ideally crypto becomes like a remote control not specialised just a useful tool, generalised and easy to use pick up in any state without preparation.   At present crypto is coming from a specialised area and hoping to be used by more people, if we can watch this % of women involved vs other sectors of the economy its probably a good measure for success overall and progress outside of normal speculation on price etc

Many member and participants are men in cryptocurrency than women, every time I got my friend joined and invest their money in cryptocurrency are men not women, maybe women is not understand about how to start trading and investing with btc.

I have heard about women that work with the cryptocurrencies, but I have never met even one crypto lady. I guess women are interested more in their home, children, not this complicated stuff.
