It is not at all a big thing to see men in higher percentage contributing good to the cryptocurrency event or to the community. This is all because of the men's updated mind, while women were much focused on fashion industry and very few were exception. If a government adopt bitcoin and suggest that everything related to fashion need to be brought using bitcoin, then surely they'll come and can see more women attendees to events, lol.

Bizzabo said that the study shows that cryptocurrency events “have a long road ahead toward gender inclusion.”
Nobody is excluding women. The implication is that men are to blame, but there is no justification for that belief.

More women should get involved. They are really missing out.
I agree, in the crypto sphere we can't really talk about anyone excluding anyone. You just have to be interested and good at what you do to succeed. Women just have to believe in themselves and in the possibility of defining their own lives and making career choices. Nowadays many still believe that they should dedicate their life only to family or perhaps to care-related professions. I think it's natural that men are attending crypto events more than women for now, but I am sure that it will change in the future when more people realize their rights and stop believing in stereotypes.

Maybe that is why cryptocurrencies has not gone mainstream as women are good in promoting something like this more than men.  I think we should encourage women in our area to embrace cryptocurrencies as this is the best way to promote it.

Even before in most events men are more than female is present so it is not new to me to see such data. Even in every most data across the world men are more than women. Cryptocurrency is only for people who understand the essence of it and it is so seldom to see such women who fully understand the market than most men.

Because men are risk taker, and women are quiet hesitant to take the risk.
Lol, I don't think this is too far from the truth, even if it is completely anti-PC.

The fact is that there's nothing prohibiting women from doing whatever they want to do in the crypto world--it's not a fault of the community that there are so many men in it, and this is like all of the gender studies majors in college whining about how there aren't enough females in the  STEM field.  Leave it to the men to blaze the trail and then let the feminists follow behind, complaining about "inclusion".

What a world.

I'm not a big fan of trying to force more equality, just for the sake of genders being equally divided in the crypto-space.
I personally think that crypto events are not really hostile to women, I think that women are simply less interested in cryptocurrency.

Look, I don't care about someone's gender, all I care about is if they're interested in cryptocurrency.

It is not a weird result. I mean look at wall street and all the finance things in the world. It is not a shock that men are more inclined to go into crypto because they go into finance more as well and we can consider crypto as something related to finance. Even tough its mostly technology and could be used without any finance at all (improving blockchain to suit a sector without putting any crypto currency relation to it for example) its still mostly used financially than not.

I think women and men are not that much different from each other like many people think and I do not claim to be a feminist or anything but unfortunately there are some sectors that are harder to get in for women which makes them feel like they don't want to work harder to just show they exist so they prefer the places they are already not discriminated against.

maybe it's true there are still a few women who join the crypto currency, this might have something to do with mindset, mentality and tradition, like this ... in crypto we are tungtut to be able to control emotions, dare to take risks and master technology well, whereas that not the nature of a woman, women tend to prefer something that is certain and does not want to take risks, rely more on feelings (emotions) so that it is easy to stress and position themselves not as breadwinners so that the interest to plunge in the world of business and technology is still low ... currently gender equality has occurred in all fields (women are now able to work in any field) but maybe in crypto the percentage of female enthusiasts is still inferior to men and it is still considered something natural and not a big problem of course

Interest is mostly male but in my community women also exist. indeed this is a natural thing because the risk and understanding of cryptocurrency is not as easy as what we want

Cryptocurrency is a new technology that is very difficult to grasp. No wemen should be able to use this technology atm because the front-end sucks. Wemen only interested in picture (photos) and their brain is not suitable for text-based interface.

They should be in the kitchen and cooking sandwiches for men! *lul

And what's more annoying? Their attitude on the bear market! That "I told you so" moment, and constant disagreement to "invest" in crypto will make you feel miserable.

But, I still love my valentine.

Yes I definitely accept this statement because in all fields more than women the population of Mens will be more higher than them so cryptocurrency field is also being surrounded by most of the men's only.

in fact, judging from the number of housewives at home, they can have many opportunities to work in cryptocurrency. what because it uses a lot of funds to invest, so it is dominated by men

I agree on that research but lets not ignore the fact that there were also females or gals who are currently involved on the crypto community  .  didnt you see on the team of an ico ,  or on the teams of an crypto exchange ? We can clearly see that few of their member are femine's  .

Include the forum members of this website and also on other platform as well  . if combine thos number , i think they are close to the percent of male crypto users .

I can't say how accurate the study is but one thing I know is that the 'possible' reason why males are the most attendees of crypto events is because  men are 'mostly' the CEO or brain founder of most cryptocoins or project so they need to represent their projects.

Though, this does not particularly means that women don't get involve, they do.
Just my two cents though.

Men are more interested about cryptocurrencies and blockchain. We tend to explore things that are related to technology but I don't think this kind of info is that important. Looking at the brighter side, at least there are remaining percentage of the study that there are women that are interested about crypto.

Maybe this is because of the differences in characteristics between men and women, basically women are more comfortable fulfilling the main obligations in the household as housewives rather than careers so they tend to be reluctant to go into this world.
Men and women has different personalities so that's basic and normal. It's not really necessary to have that much percentage of women who are into crypto's but it will be an amazing growth, if some future studies will show that women who are interested with crypto has increased.

Maybe this is because of the differences in characteristics between men and women, basically women are more comfortable fulfilling the main obligations in the household as housewives rather than careers so they tend to be reluctant to go into this world. On the other hand there are fewer time constraints for women because they have to focus on taking care of the family.

He mentioned that such lack of gender diversity is also true for the tech industry in general.

Why don't we think this shows that in general men are more interested in tech than women? I mean, it sounds as if men are trying to restrict women participation in tech development. I don't know how the tech industry works but in blockchain space, does that even possible? Anybody is literally free to learn and participate in any project, so not sure what is this inclusion thing. If they're not interested why we need to force them?

Because men are risk taker, and women are quiet hesitant to take the risk for some good reason. 21% of women attendees is not that bad, it will increase soon since they are more active now compare before and the society are more open now for the women, there is nothing to worry about this women are still strong compare to other men and they can also take the risk, if they fully understand this market.

The study shows that the cryptocurrency events “have a long road ahead toward gender inclusion” and such events have “to change.”

Bizzabo co-founder and customer success chief Alon Alroy said in relation to the study’s findings that “there is a lack of gender diversity” in the cryptocurrency industry and that it is “reflected in the attendance for these events.” He mentioned that such lack of gender diversity is also true for the tech industry in general.
