In my opinion, Ethereum always deserves to be the best altcoin for us to hold in the long term. Ethereum is the king of altcoin, it has a huge daily transaction volume. I believe that in the near future Eth's price will reach the moon. Currently the price of this altcoin is very low, only $ 147, this is a good price for us to buy and hold Ethereum.
Well, a lot of good points to say about ethereum when it is a king of altcoin, the amount of supporters and the daily trading volume is relatively good but whether Ethereum really still deserves to invest as you said or not. You said how good it was and then talked about its current price, a very low price, especially when we look at ethereum's chart, much lower after each time we see, even the surrounding altcoins are not so good, the chart is very similar, I am only afraid that the long-term holding is no longer effective

I would recommend your NWC to hold it as they have a legit working project. I'm also holding some MargiX as their project seems to be working, not fond of their platform, still having my hopes up.

In order to be safe and gain good profit, you should choose ETH to hold for long term.In the crypto market full of manipulation, safe speculation is a top priority. Therefore, we should not choose small alts because for them, when the downtrend happens, the possibility of it dying is very easy. So hold for long term most need is the prestige and continuous operation of a business. I choose Ethereum, it is a leading technology enterprise in the field of blockchain.
I will choose Ethereum if you can buy some more and hol dit for long time, not just for 1 year, or hold it until you think you make enough profit if sell, i think after 3,4 years we will have better price for all crypto.

Waves can be a good choice
also ZEC, ETC, ADA are coins with established foundations for the long run
from low caps i'd choose Coti for mid-long term
When it's about suggestion for good altcoin, imo no one is good suggestion untill you dyor and understand the basic fundamentals of a good altcoin you are going to dive in.
What i can tell you just go through some altcoins understand their basic fundamentals then you probably won't need anyone's suggestion.

That's probably all you need as far as altcoins go unless you really want to get into some of the riskier stuff, and I would not advise that if you're not a gambler.My pick would be Neo, because if you're holding it for the long term you're at least earning some income while you hold it. The same cannot be said for PoW coins. I like staking coins as a general thing, but some of them have too much downside risk. Anyhow that's the only one I'm going to recommend as I don't want to sound like a shill.
I think a good longterm hold could be Helios Protocol! Helios is building it's own decentralized web platform and with smart contracts based on DAG it's infinitely scalable ! Helios started from the bottom without funding and has a great community! It was created as a ERC-20 and released 2019 the Mainnet of Helios Protocol. Own explorer and wallet are working fine and the transaction fees are really low!

I totally agree with you. ETH and LTC are the two very strong Coins in the market.
Most of the people also counting other TOP10 coins. I also want to add BNB near ETH or LTC. No one can deny that Binance Ecosystem which includes Binance Exchange leading the crypto world. Labs, academy, Binance X, launchpad etc.
As the GAS of Binance ecosystem many people support BNB, which includes me 😊
A strong back which include ETH, LTC and BNB can make investors in long term.

just hold your ethereum for long term hodl, and if you still have enough money just buy more ethereum
also you should add binance coin in your portofolio too
Ethereum is number one: many altcoins depend on it. It is not holding now as Vitalik Buterin and the company are focused on solving the problem of scaling, which should significantly increase the number of processed transactions per second and at the same time make them as cheap as possible. Ethereum 2.0, which will work on sharding and Proof-of-Stake mining will be not launched soon, so it is worth investing in alt and waiting.

For now it seems like I will choose Tether, the market today is very bloody and I think buying more bitcoin and ethereum will also be very good. But again for now I will choose tether and of course ethereum because with this bloody market I am sure there will be a good return in the near future, but if you really want to hold it for a long time, I highly recommend ethereum.
