it's just an analysis that is not certain to happen, I think in any crypto market it can happen to profit from the investment as you mentioned and also experience losses.many people have analyzed for themselves any coin that has the potential to generate profits and it is different.
what you say is not wrong and can not be said to be true because it has not happened that is your analysis. and if according to my analysis the coins that have the most potential for profit are BNB and ETH.
I already have ETH and BNB for the long term. thinking about current prices maybe some have already been sold but I'll keep them for the long haul. this is a very convincing investment over XRP and TRX to many complex issues.

Ranking 100 coins in cmc is good for investment but choosing new coins to get big profits needs some good research by looking at the technology and ideas that developers provide to users.
if you look at the current market situation, i think ethereum will be my choice, Xrp and Trx are good coins with big market cap, but some new investors will choose new coin before it has big market cap, after that the price will go up an we need to be patient before get profit

Do your own research on each coin and also, how do you know that this coin will yield a good profit margin, what's the basis for that, what's your evidence? There should be an evidence right?

This guy just shared his opinion and I agree about TRX as I consider it to be a good long-term investment, because it is not useless. I agree about TRX, I also find this coin quite promising. At least we use it to run transactions in the Tron chain that is the 5th in popularity among Blockchains. So as opposed to meme coins, it has something useful under it.
And personally I have my list of coins that I choose very carefully, investigating social media, docs, ideas, devs team. And I buy more and more of them every month, and especially now, on drawdown.

Have a very good or long story behind the highest pump at any altcoins price. You should know those stories where those projects remind us about their reputation. For now, "Ripple" can't be a long-term investment project. Some how I can sense that we shouldn't search for long-term investment projects. Most of the projects are now for the short-term.
I prefer to save tron for now for us to save in the long term, maybe if asked what is the basis for holding tron if we pull back ATH occurs in 2018 and 4 years after ATH will occur in 2022 and I remain optimistic on tron coins could reach the next ATH next year, but still DYOR

They believe these altcoin are more adaptable to mass adoption of Cryptocurrency than other Cryptocurrency. Another thing is the issue of centralization of these coin, how transparent will it be for people to depend on coin that can be controlled by a group of individuals or a person? I think the future will reveal the right coin and long term investment should be based on your convictions about these coin or others!
Well, I am one of them and I am holding these coins on my portfolio --but it seems I am trapped in investing in XRP that is why I let my XRP sleep in my wallet and hoping that someday it will wake up again and becomes skyrocketing the price. But of course, bitcoin has a large percentage compared to altcoins in my portfolio, that is a real long-term investment, 70% on bitcoin investment and the rest is on altcoins that were on the top 10 altcoins in coin market cap considering they are a good investment. If you really want to have a long-term investment, I suggest having bitcoin as much as you can and then let this will sleep and forgot into your wallet. 
Don't invest in the altcoins with huge total supply, better to invest in the altcoins with a lower marketcap rate. The low marketcap altcoins have a better potential to hit the high prices compared to top altcoins, so in your case odds are in your favor if you can find reliable projects to invest in long term. Btw, don't invest in based on opinions of other people, make your own research before inveting.

What if someone follows this advice or recommendations and it didn't work out, what will happen to the person? There is no doubt about the potential of both coins, but we can't be too sure of this space, we can't be too sure of predictions hence the reason why you should make your personal research on a coin before buying so that, if it doesn't go as planned you own up to it, learn and move on. Remember, both are dropping down on coinmarketcap with other strong coins beating them, which shows that, those other coins are working harder than their team.

DYOR, I have hold both coins since 2017 and you already know how much profit I made in the past 2020, but some altcoins are good for you to own, I have more than 10 portfolios and Bitcoin will still be an option as the crypto market cap is still dominated by Bitcoin.
Good advise. People tend to look for altcoins that quickly even if they don't have bitcoin. It's the recommended thing to have before they get into different altcoins.Bitcoin is no doubt the best long term investment before you get an altcoin that you will hold together with bitcoin.

Thanks for the suggestion but I'm not a fan of either xrp or trx, I don't just find them exciting any longer, both of them are not producing any exciting feature or update, they are just stagnant with large communities only, instead of trx and xrp my suggestion for a long term investment would be to invest in $Near, they are building some made stuff on it and lately the Near ecosystem is growing rapidly, few reasons why I jumped on it before it will explode, I would still advise you DYOR about it before buying.

personaly i am prefer to buy and hold project that solved what actually be problem in market now. I see scalabitlity , network traffic and gas fee be main problem now and alot project offer the solution of these such as bsc , matic , solana or other platform. And i will pick into these project , specially for Solana maybe i will give bigger allocation.
Good luck, Solana is a great project too, but let us not look at how useful the project is, we also have to look at the team that creates and manage the project's development. We should have knowledge about how they will market the project as that's very vital on the project's success, less marketing, less recognition and even how good the project is, if it will not notice, it will not be in the big market.
