I think that we should not spend too much money on gambling. It's important to have self-control. If you do not have the ability to control yourself, you will lose all of your money. Gambling should be chosen as a mode of entertainment, if you expect too much outcome from gambling then surly you will become addicted on it.
Their are still a few gambling addicts that might attempt going outside just to gamble but hopefully governments is going to close casino or any places that have a crowd to prevent coronavirus.
In most of the countries that got heavily affected by the virus, all casinos are now close. If you see a gambler that still goes outside and by any chance, you learn where they go, you can report the area into the authorities. Maybe they go into an unregulated illegal casino.
These can consider as illegal gambling as they can still operate freely amid the pandemic virus scare.
Help the government by reporting those.
Luckily here in our town, most of the people are staying at their homes because they are too scared to get the virus out of nowhere if they go outside. Though sometimes, there are still people going outside of their houses which can't be avoided since they are going to buy their needs (1 person per household) to avoid the public market being crowded to maintain the social distancing. Our Government even set hours of buying foods in every streets, which is a good thing also.
Let's help each other and save humanity, also mother earth.
A lot of this advice applies to normal gamblers that play on land based casinos too. But the main thing I see is that with quarantines in place, people will throw money away through online gambling if because they're bored, lose, then continually redepositing because there isn't anything else to do. Instead of gambling online, focus on your family and friends. Have some quality time and bonding because after this Covid-19 pandemic, everything will go back to normal. The opportunity to have some bond with our loved ones is not that easy as we all are busy working with our jobs. We should cherish the time we have with our family as this quarantine is continuously implemented in our country. We have nothing to do but to stay at home, you should just gamble after that quality time and if you have spare or extra money to spend for gambling. But you should also prioritize your necessities inside the house to prevent lack of resources as this virus is not that easy to eliminate. Just gamble all you want if this virus is already vanished so that you can gamble without fear of getting the virus outside your house.

That is because addiction takes place on their mind which is hard to resist when it reaches the higher stage of it. where you will have a hard time controlling yourself from gambling. which will lead to a lack of time for the families and other important stuff. that is because you already lost a massive amount of money and all of your reasons are to get back what you've lost which will not happen soon or it will never be. We need to consider to stop when things are not good anymore, especially when people around us are not talking to us like they used to be.

This one is also important and some gamblers just cannot stop getting more loans thinking they could take back what they have already lost.
When all loans gets piled up it is getting difficult to come back up.
All your winnings just for paying up all of this and you won't even feel the happiness of a winner anymore.

Lack of self control is a big challenge for gambling. When you have self control, you are likely to do better but so many don't have self control because it is about emotion and attachment of resources losses.
That is what we need to concern when we are playing gambling because we can lose control, especially if we win some rounds. We can forget the rule that we made before we played because we are in the happy moment for winning the money. - Don't gamble if you are depressed, stress or something has negative emotion in your self.
- Always think gambling is a form of entertainment, not a way of making money
- Always set a time limit of how long your session in gambling
- Decide to stop when you are in a win-win situation, the more time you gamble, a big chance to lose.

Among all the good points that you have highlighted, I want to say that number 2 is the reason that we have all other points. Number 2 is the real reason that gamblers fall in the business, self control of course.

It is wrong to overly spend on gambling, and to achieve that, one must have self control.
Loans from any source to gamble are out-rightly wrong equally; i will conclude by saying we should treat gambling as a leisure, and participate in it just for the fun of it.

As expected, all casinos are closed. But do not get surprised if underground gambling continous, especially to those ultra rich people. They may require COVID negative test results, or maybe they can go online. There are still many ways to gamble because online casino are still operating.

Yes, to execute them must depend on the gambler. Few gamblers may think they are common suggestions and not really necessary things. For typical gamblers like this, we cannot help much. But at least, we have already reminded them of those suggestions.

I think the key to controlling gambling is understanding why gambling is for you, what it gives me, why I want to do just that, what I miss.
Perhaps various answers will come to mind that are the root causes of the desire to gamble.

Each gambler might differ on some reason but for sure they do have almost the same on the reason why they do play gambling in the first place.

But at this time the best advice was to play gambling on gamble websites because it would be risky to play to other place or casino for sure because of the pandemic virus that is spreading around the globe.
