0.95 Bitcoin that is awful be careful and glad to hear your back from the brink.
Know I keep a small amount in just dice in the investors section for those types of events mentioning it since it might be a safer storage method not quite sure how Iran is for that although cold storage is best a little bit of interest is still a lot for some (although do not put it all in one basket).
But it does suck to lose a large amount of coins hope you will get it back someday and props to lightlord for helping someone know props aren't needed but it seems to be rare these days.
The services thread may help you earn a few coins so hopefully you can earn it back transcribing is just writing down what you hear and putting it in a text file. Signature campaigns at a modest slow pace would probably help subsidize your living in the long run if rent is 85 dollars where a little bit of additional income could make a significant difference.

First I am glad you are back from the brink.

Yes, what this appears to be is payment for writing down everything that is said on a let's talk bitcoin podcast.  You'd need to be a good typist and understand whatever language they are speaking in well.  If it really takes 5 hours to transcribe a one hour show that is not too rich of a payment, but it is something!

Good LucK!
Damn, that would be 5111000 IRR... Makes you a millionaire Smiley
@OP... Glad to see you trying smarter things... Good Luck.  I may be launching some bitcoin freebies sometime in the near future, will PM you if I do Smiley

Thank you for the encouragement.

Parham, I was there the other night when all this happened. I just saw your thread and had to comment. I am glad to see you are doing better and seem to be in better spirits. I know its hard to lose, I lost over $20k a few years ago playing poker and it was devastating. It wasn't all I had, so I don't even know half of your pain and fear. Please feel free to PM me if there is anything I can help you with.

Actually, it means writing down what you hear from an audio.
If an audio says: "in the past years I've ate chocolate and milkshake" you will need to write that.

So I have to download an audio file and then type down what I hear like subtitles?

Sorry. I forget how incomplete that thread is since I decided not to move qwk's ruleset over. Basically, qwk and Adam at Let's Talk Bitcoin have put together a bounty of .15BTC per episode of Let's Talk Bitcoin transcribed. The episodes are ~1 hour long in audio, but generally take a good bit longer to transcribe well. Once you submit a transcript (preferably in .doc format on Scribd.com), I'll proofread it (usually within a couple days), and then you'll be paid.

A more complete list of rules and guidelines for transcripts is here.

I still don't understand what it is, I get I have to write something but don't know what exactly. Am I writing a story for a show?

Do you know what transcribe means?

Hmmm... I'll make an exception. Feel free to transcribe an LTB episode, OP. It pays .15BTC per episode transcript. Shouldn't take more than a day (probably <5h once you have it down).

Can you please explain a bit more about it? I didn't quite understand.

I was hoping my story would stop someone from gambling what he can't afford to lose.

Nah... probably not :/  Real gamblers always be like "it happened to that guy, doesn't mean it'll happen to me."  Besides, there are little to no people in your current situation Wink

I met lightlord in real life at a cafe.. he's a good guy.

Are you that guy I met at Waves coffee? Because I did met someone at a cafe in downtown Vancouver that
was a Bitcoin user on bitcointalk.org. I don't remember who, but it was like 6 months ago I think.
I generally go there to sell bitcoins, etc, very convenient, though recently been using local bitcoins
as the fee is better.

Also profited several times, by buying BTC at $330 there, and selling at $500 several times, made quite a decent amount of $$$ doing that.

Yeah, that was me.

All gamblers, even the sucessfull guys have been broke multiple times.

If you saved what you consider to be a huge amount of money in 1.5 years why would you kills yourself? Just do it again and buy something with it that you cant gamble with, like gold. You have to die anyway so just might as well go down fighting.
