Roll Eyes OH YOU Tongue

I wonder how it went down?

I know there are a few people out there who are butt-hurt due to the volume of miners that are on coinpool.pl, they're pissed about it like you're trying to steal it all or something.

Not their fault that people just seem to flock to the most popular pool out there.

You just happened to be one of the first ones set up... and everyone who was mining with you that got into qrk just said... *jump*

I am not stealing anything (and even not trying). But I am trying to provide honest, stable pools - people decide where to mine Smiley

Is the pool http://prt.coinmine.pl functioning normally?
I don't get any unconfirmed coins after the round is over when I have solved shares during it (and have nonzero PRT estimation).
Also Round page doesn't show stats.
And 'Contact' page only tells that there's a problem to contact it.

Official thread says the client should be updated. Could that be a reason?

hi - it looks like there was another ddos attack this night and few crons hung for no reason actually. It is catching up right now (may take some time...)

Don't get me wrong. I know it's variable difficulty, but my output log shows between 580-670khash/sec on either one through either worker.

Please advise.

I will  check it

sooo - in long term (it also depends on your hashrate) you should earn exactly what you found on the pool. But this assumption is based on statistics... Probably if you mine solo in comparison to such a big hashrate you would have a lot of orphans....

OK. Well, the other issue I'm seeing, is both of my computers are hashing between 600khash/s-670khash/s

How is this calculated on the pool dashboard/workers screen? Because it's showing me on the pool info that I'm hashing at around 400khash/s most of the time.

Worker 1: i7 920 overclocked to 3.8GHz 4 cores, 8 threads   AVG: 620khash/sec

Worker 2: Xeon 6-core 1.8GHz   6 cores, 12 threads  AVG: 590khash/sec

Worker 3: Coming soon.

Hey Feeleep, I have a good question.

It says on "finder" that one of my workers found 4 blocks, and generated 24QRK.

Call me newb... but how much of a reward comes out of finding blocks as compared to just mining them?

Important message to pool users:

It looks like there is a pool owner who did not encrypt user passwords and after collecting account+pass+PIN on his pool he is trying to login with the same credentials to other pools. We had this situation with Particle pool - some guy logged into few accounts, changed payout address and ask for manual payouts. Here is the proof:

I strongly advise to change your passwords ASAP on every pool (not only coinmine pools) and use different password on every pool!

Hi,

got a problem with coinmine pool for particule ( prt ).

I have an account registered but after the wave of pool hack I tried to change pin/password.
Now I'm "locked" because the pin reset email has never been received ( several tries ). my inbox is not in cause since no antispam is used, mail flow in normally. and sometimes I got a sent mail failed message from MPOS.

I think their is a problem with smtp account used but may be anything else.

The fact is that I'm stuck with my account.

OP can you help me please ?

Thanks !
