what's the deal with winning multiple HS tickets?

LOL, you hit and run twice yesterday. 2 instant sitouts after suckout allin wins. So better stop talking.

And about ugot0chance aka "I have a lot to say" Adrian aus Berlin/thailand skyrevo, I spoke with the community about you, we all had a good laugh. Nothing more to say.

and then instantly came back to the table LOL youre an idiot, and knowing who you are now i get it.

Keep chatting with the 'community' that sleeps under the local underpasses while ugot and bert try to fix this fucking place.

OWARI / scammed-by-nitro should be disregarded by default RUchamp  Wink

Anyways, 2020 is almost over and I wonder what @SwC_Poker would, honestly, rate their performance.

Here's some things to consider:

Big BTC got launched, but immediately slashed from 1 BTC price pool to now half? Meh. PKOs were added. Mixed tournaments were added, then slashed in price, stopped running regularly and probably die off. Meh.

Rake got raised, both directly and indirectly and response times have been absolutely abysmal, pretty much destroying the best time to play poker between Xmas and NYE, since all the regs are sensitive to it and don't start games. For a site that prides itself on its low rake, you got passed quickly.

Jackpot tables got invented, which were a good idea. Unfortunately, innovation ended there, extra rake is now taken and they're an absolute nit-fest now. Antes (option) would fix this. This is standard pretty much everywhere now. You got passed quickly.

We actually went +-0 new games in 2020, we lost NL27SD but got Pineapple. For a site that prides itself in the mixed game selection, you got passed quickly. [Edit: We actually went -1, we lost short deck. My bad!]

Chat box got absolutely obliterated and long term regulars left or are actively promoting against you now. Higherhighs is the most unpopular representative of a site I have ever seen, and I experienced the Howard Lederer fiasco.

The big announcement that has been promoted for months never came.

The 500 players online-goal was missed by almost half, the 7-day-average players is 45 (according to pokerscout), with a peak of 104, ranking #43, 2 spots in front of Tonybet Poker - that has been closed for a few months now!

On the plus side, there are still a few complete morons playing on your site, so money comes by easy occasionally! Yay!

Overall, I will give you 2/10. Lots of room to grow, I guess.

Happy New Years!

what steps can i take with you or your software to self exclude from games or stakes on your software
First step, stop hit&running. Its kinda shady, you know.

Thanks for deleting swc, I have time to repost though.
I'm nothing but great action, I'm not a shitreg nit, games will have 3 tables worth of waiting lists around me and I never hit and run and hemorrhage money to the most suspicious squeezes and you have the nerve to talk crap on some forum under some alt name. You're a joke. I've sworn off all non HU ring on SWC anyways so I won't see your bum ass at the tables.

Aside: who let goodfella win that HS tourney? Seriously disappointed.

We should wait with criticism until they actually announce the changes, maybe they won't be that bad. Who knows. And if it is, we can spend 2021 in the player lounge thread looking for alternatives. But for the moment, I'll go back to defending SWC on rake, before the price jump it really wasn't that bad and I would even say that before the recent rake increase, it was a steal at some OFCp games (interestingly now, I think they are the biggest problem).

I am happy that we do have a group of players that are saying their opinions consistently despite the censoring attempts to keep the thread "clean" and HHs mission is to get to 500 players online, so let's extend some good will until next week and hope his actions fit the mission statement.

SWC rake compared with America's Cardroom. The USD stakes on the far left column are slightly off since they were calibrated at btc price of $20,000.

SwC's wallet needed to be synced back up yesterday which created a several hour window of deposits/withdrawals not being able to be requested. This has since been fixed.

AlexTrebbert, SwC is aware that you and others want the rake adjusted and find ACR's higher % but lower max rake to be more favorable. They are currently working on creating a new rake schedule, which should come out this week.

Like others have said: The cap is really the only thing that matters, the % is basically irrelevant.

I think you should consider coming up with a plan now on how you intend to respond to future price changes in bitcoin.  If the price of bitcoin goes down, the cap should go up, and if price goes up, cap goes down.  Informing players ahead of time what price will trigger the change, and what the change will be will avoid having to go through this in the future.

I have not been saying I "find ACR's higher % but lower max rake to be more favorable." I have been saying for months that I find ACR's hu rake better.  Lower heads up rake makes it easier to start games. What you need to do is to have limit games of $10/20 and under like ACR be 50 cent USD heads up rake. And hu limit rake should never be over $1 USD so set it accordingly so you don't kill the games again. You are raking over $2 USD in heads up limit games now at $25/$50 and above.

Your lower % makes very little difference in bigger limit games. It's all about the cap.

Also look into the big bet heads up rake.  The ACR max is $1.25 at $5/10, $1 for $2/4 - $4/8, and $.50 bellow that. SWC is currently raking over $3 USD heads up at some of the biggest stakes.

Yes I could complain about other problems in your rake schedule, but I have consistently stuck with pointing out the heads up situation.

When you have the rake too high heads up, you create extreme bum hunting situations.  You make it impossible for regs to battle hu to get a game going because the game becomes unbeatable and the only one winning is SWC.

This is an important point. This is why one table of a limit will be running with three to four people on a wait list and not another one getting started.

yes hello. long time degen, first time poster.

can we expect more MTT leaderboards in the future and can we think about weighting them in a way that doesnt make the winner of the one single biggest mtt have a stupid lead?

Congrats on winning your second BPHS tournament today RUchamp!

There have been leaderboards for the past several tournament series and will continue to be a part of future series. We use a great formula that allows for competitive leaderboards.
